Ethereal was walking the forests of Floor 4 when he heard a scream ring down the valley he was in. He rushed over to the origin of the scream and found the entrance to a huge maze. He hesitated for a moment by the entrance, before plunging into the twists and turns, determined to find the source of the scream.

After several minutes of backtracks and 180's he grows more and more agitated. "Did I just imagine that scream?" he questions himself. He stumbles around, oblivious to the massive threat that is stalking him. He turns, and is confronted with a 8-foot, hairy Minotaur. It knows it's been spotted and gives a cry, just like the scream that Ethereal heard. 'It was him!' he thinks, drawing his silver.

Ethereal rushes up to the Minotaur, using his speed advantages, and swipes at its chest.

The blow lands, but the minotaur doesn't falter. It picks up a huge battleaxe by its feet.

He goes for another strike, jumping sideways and swinging the longsword up to strike it on the chin.

As Ethereal jumps sideways, the axe is faster. It strikes him in the side.

Ethereal uses the momentum from the strike to carry himself above the beast. He points downwards and uses gravity to drive downwards towards the head of it.

Ethereal bails out and breakfalls, spinning towards the minotaur and raising his silver. The minotaur has been looking dumbfounded at Ethereal as he span in the air.

He jumps forwards and brings the blade down in a falling thrust. The minotaur starts raising his battleaxe, hefting it for a heavy strike.

The thrust skims across the Minotaur's weathered skin, causing no damage. Ethereal rolls backwards, out of the way of the attack.

"I CALL FORTH ARGENT, THE RAVEN OF LIGHT!" shouts to the sky. In a few seconds a white object falls from the sky to hover to the side of Ethereal. "What is your bidding?" booms Argent. "Attack." he says simply, and they charge forwards together.

Ethereal buries his blade in the Minotaur's chest and Argent claws at its face, causing it to drop the axe and howl in agony.

"Argent, let's finish this quickly. I'll cover you." "Of course, Master." Argent begins the process of calling the dead. Ethereal goes for a backhand slash while the Minotaur's still recovering.

The slash opens up the front of the Minotaur's chest.It bellows and goes to swipe him away. Argent sends out a pulse of white light, causing a rumbling underground.

The ground opens and spits out several bones. They knit themselves together and form a rickety skeleton with a rusted sword. Ethereal goes for another slash while jumping up and spinning over the top of the Minotaur.

The slash opens another wound in the shoulder of the minotaur. Argent recovers and shakes his head, ready to attack. Ethereal lands and spins for another hit. The minotaur spins to backhand him.

Argent swoops towards the Minotaur's face. Simultaneously the skeleton charges, swinging its sword, being controlled by Argent. Ethereal drives his blade across the back of the minotaur. It looks about, wondering where all these people came from. He continues with its backhand.

Ethereal's slash rips open the back of the beast. It roars and spins, facing Ethereal. The skeleton stumbles, being only a pile of bones. Argent swoops at the exposed side of the Minotaur, pecking and clawing.

Ethereal tries to jump over the backhand , swinging at the fiend's neck. Argent turns, spinning around going in once again for the side. The skeleton recovered, running for the Minotaur, giving a downwards strike.

Ethereal gets swat away, taking 1 damage. In the meantime Argent claws open the side of the minotaur and the skeleton hits perfectly, cleaving open the minotaur.

Ethereal shakes the hit off, rising. Argent calls "Ethereal-dono, are you alright?", "Fine, Argent.". The skeleton goes for another strike, and the minotaur turns to attack it.

The skeleton lands its hit, ducking under the minotaur's strike as Argent is concentrating on using the Skeleton as he flies closer. Ethereal gets up, leaning against the tree.

He charges, running head on to the minotaur, distracting the minotaur from the skeleton. Argent follows his master just behind, pointing its beak like a spear. The skeleton loses agility as Argent is disracted. It throws a soppy strike at the minotaur.

Ethereal is still stunned from the hit, and misses his first strike. Argent puts too much concentration into the skeleton, and misses his hit. However, the skeleton hits and deals damage.

The raven, man and skeleton attack as one, going for the eyes, body and legs of the beast respectively. The minotaur has given up the offensive and its axe, using its hands to defend itself.

The minotaur is criticaled by Ethereal, blinded by Argent but the skeleton misses, for he is just a summonee. The minotaur strikes the skeleton, giving a critical.

The raven keeps clawing at the face, the man continues to attack the chest and the skeleton tries once again to injure the huge beast.

Ethereal lands a solid blow, winding the Minotaur. Argent takes an eye off the beast. The minotaur swipes wildly and strikes the Skeleton, turning it to shards.

Argent and Ethereal dance around the minotaur, evading its movements and striking when it's vulnerable. He jumps, driving the sword towards the minotaur's head. Argent screeches and goes for the thing's back.

Both blows land perfectly, opening up more wounds that bleed shards. The minotaur becomes enraged, Ethereal is too fast to hit and Argent too high.

Ethereal stoops low, going for its belly. Argent goes up and dives at its shoulder. "Let's finish this!" says Ethereal. "Indeed." comments Argent.

Both miss, the arm of the Minotaur smashing Ethereal in the side. He staggers back to his feet. That hurt.

Ethereal brings his silver down in a diagonal slash at the monster's neck. Argent follows his Master's lead and dives in a symmetrical attack.
