You spot a merchant sitting in the corner of a pub in the heart of Urbus. As you approach, he coughs and gives you a pleading look.

"You come for the bill I posted? I am Gatsly. I work as a merchant, making just enough to support me and my family, but lately all of my supply caravans have been destroyed or chased away by a ferocious beast." He looks down at the floor, "I don't have much, but if you could slay the beast, I would pay you."

Should you accept, Gatsly marks the coordinates on your map and tells you that the beast is a mutated, venomous wolf, deadlier than any other in the forest. He hands you a vial of green liquid and instructs you to drink it if you find yourself poisoned.

Randal has only recently come to Urbus, which was the name of a mountainous and forest based area of floor two.

Why was he here you might ask, well probably because he was almost done with the first floor and it was time for the baby bird to move up in life.

Making his way into a nearby inn, looking for a merchant who posted a bill requesting that someone help him take out a Monster Who had been attacking his caravans.

Randal came over to hear more details from the merchant. Street which Randal accepted allowed the merchant to make the general coordinates of Randal’s map and made way to the location.

Randal went the quest requirements in his head while remembering what the merchant told him. Based on his eh counters, the merchant was kind enough to offer an antidote to Randal but Randal rejected, he didn’t want to take more from a merchant who has lost a lot.

Walking through the floor 2 Forest was just a bit more wearying than the regular forests around the town of beginnings due to the fact that while the first floor has tons of plains and flat forests, in the forests on the outskirts of Urbus, it was mostly mountains and forests combined with the flat plains at the top, plateauing at the top.

Randal continued to wander until he heard the sound of wolves howling in the distance thinking back to the information provided to him, he knew that the Venomous snapper often hunted in packs and usually had wolves for companions during its attack on the caravans. Taking a step back to organise his thoughts. He solidly decided that as a single player taking on a pack, he would have to divide and conquer. So he planned to carefully make his way forward while keeping himself Away from the downdraft of the wind.

However his actions were to no avail and two wolves came out to attack him, quickly jumping away and then tornado kicking them, Randal was able to kill them quickly and without fuss.

The sudden attack of the wolves already took Randal by surprise but that simple forced Randal’s life or death instincts to take the front seat in his brain as he reacted quicker that thought could be progressed based on intuition and feeling the situation. That was what made Randal decided to use his sword skill as quickly and as decisively as he did.

Reviewing what he already knew, he understood that there was a higher chance that the Venomous snapper was somewhere in the vicinity due to the fact that these wolves weren’t attacking based on the need to survive but was rather being controlled by a stronger more alpha monster showing the heroes its dominance.

With that being said, Randal’s already slow paced would eventually have to slow to a halt as any thing that results from rising would be to end up like the majority of previous cases with Randal as the caravans that had previously

Killing the first wolf seemed to have opened Randal’s eyes as he dodged a swift strike from the second wolf.

Randal continued to make his way uneasily through the forests of airbus as he was totally unfamiliar with the layout of the area, he didn’t know if he would find a safe haven to taken a break any where in this forest unlike the many plains that were located in the first floor. Here the air was heavy with tensions as Randal was just ambushed by two wolves and he didn’t know what else would be waiting for him around the corner.

Around the corner a bit further along the way was the Venomous snapper who sent two of his immediate packets to scout the area but hadn’t heard a peep from them since, and even though he knew that this didn’t happen frequently he also knew what such am occurrence meant. That someone was hunting them. The Venomous snapper crunches low and started to secrete toxic poisons from its teeth.

Randal proceeded to look around himself for materials while ensuring that he would not be caught in a disadvantageous position should a Monster Attack him, even though he was in position of the searching skill, he still needed to ensure that he watched his own back and didn’t take the lower ground route when offered. After all, the higher he was, the better the surprise impact he would have if the monsters fight noticed him through smell first.

On the other hand, the Venomous snapper could control many wolves but due to the fact that none were really in his vicinity at this time, he only lashed to gather another wolf to accompany him into taking his current pursuer.

Regal pushed on while looking all around himself as far as possible. The amount of time that followed left him re-energised and ready to take on more foes should they decide to show themselves.

Along the way, while Randal was trying to figure out which was the best method or tree branches that he should step on to ensure the safest method forward he spotted a wolf prowling ahead of the Venomous snapper and posed himself before taking a deep breath, he would be very high up and jumping down was still pretty scary. But it was his only option because climbing down would be too noisy and may sort the monster to his presence, so without skipping any more Beats than he had to, Randal leapt from the vantage point and executed a tornado kick right into the face of the Venomous snapper and the hind of the wolf. Immediately without a doubt he caused the wolf to disintegrate into blue light, while severely damaging the snapper, unfortunately the tough hide of the snapper prevented Randal from stunning the snapper but he did manage to flinch the snapper Long enough to evade the large crocodile like jaws that lunged his way.

Watching the speed that the Venomous snapper was moving at inspired Randal a bit as he was confident in his ability to dodge that attacks if a slower monster but what he didn’t know was that the Venomous snapper had a breath Attack which could hit in an AOE.

After flinching the snapper, it opened its mouth and the purple liquid immediately splashed out and landed on the ground around Randal, which was initially a relieved expression on Randal’s face as has dodged the poison turned into slight panic as the poison landed on the ground and turned into a purple mist that have Randal the poisoned status effect.

The sudden abs unexpected turn of events allowed the snapper to catch up to Randal in the heat in the moment and very quickly and with a lot of force, slam its entirety Into Randal’s midsection. Causing the air and wind in his lungs to escape and pushing him away.

Regal took a moment to fly through the air after taking the hit straight to his midsection, he eventually landed after he slammed into a nearby tree. After he fell from flying, he landed on his news but not for too long as immediately as he looked up he spotted the Venomous snapper rampaging straight towards him, mouth agape, Randal wanted to nice but the poison seemed to slow his body down and make him sluggish.

Fortunately the snapper didn’t manage to lands it Attack thanks to Randal scrambling to get behind the tree to put it between him and the snapper. Taking a few seconds to recover, he finally managed to get to his senses enough to not be hit by the snapper but not enough to land any hurts even if he tried. Nonetheless he tried by dodging ashes weaving what attacks he could and blocking anything else.

Rachel tried to do everything he could to shake the venom that was running through his body out of his mind so that he would be in the right mental state to try different attacks. After All if the beginning of his sword art wasn’t perfect the chances of the Attack going through at all drop to a minimum to a very large extent.

All he could do in his current state was dodge and defend and after a short while enough of his blood had recovered and he was able to see a bit more clearly than before. He put himself in the proper stand to activate his current strongest sword skill and prepared for the snapper to attack him but the snapper wasn’t stupid and could tell that something was up, he kept trying to circle around Randal but upon finding that he could but get any opening decided to risk it Anyway and jumped towards Randal’s left. Randal leapt Into the air and spun his heel right into the face of the snapper.

With the Last bit of attack quickly coming bf to a close, Randal’s kick seemed to have lifted the Snapper up and apart as his heel transferred so much momentum into the face of the snapper that he was sent flying further than before, the impact quickly reducing the health of the snapper right down into a minimum and far lower when compared to Randal‘s current health bar. At this stage it was no longer a threat to regal and Randal simple kept his cool. He could also see that his poisoned status was quickly fading and with the last tick of the health decrease that came with the poison, it quickly left Randal’s body hurt not before dealing its own fair share of damage to Randal.

The snapper having been hit really hard earlier, was at  least worse for wear and wasn’t able to land any sharp hits on Randal, but Randal was also unable to finish off the snapper.

With Randal being able to eliminate huge chunks ofThe snapper health, regal was fueling really gods shot the whole situation, even when the snapper seemed to be showing signs of contemplation of the possibilities of running away and eventually to take himself down that road of life was all seemingly apparent to Randal, and as unfortunate as it is, it’s bit likely that Randal would be able to simple let such a dangerous creature go. One would really badly need to remember that in this situation, the snapper had already attacked and killed many parties who were a part of that caravans crew.

This’s was honestly the nail in The Coffin when Randal was deciding what exactly he should be doing with the information. That sometimes the only way to do the right thing would be to take the wrong thing option. Similarly, Randal charred down the fleeing monster but was unable to catch the beast at the end of the day.

Randal started posting very heavily as soon as all the excitement died down and he thought to himself that percentage wise, this was probably the most hurt he had been while in the wild for awhile now. Even at any other point in the pants he had never been placed in such a bad situation before. Truth be told, the snapper’s jaw which health close to fifty Damage was truly dangerous and if Randal wasn’t as quick on his feet as he should have been that night have easily been the death is him both in game and in reality. That reality also was just now sinking in.

Without skipping a moment Randal disregarded how loud he was going you be and climb a tree just to get off the ground and to recover for a moment. When he reached the top he noticed that nothing was out of the ordinary and that there was no Materials for him to not so he plunked down and started to rest.

Regal was incredibly simple, after taking a quick moment to catch his breath he felt like he was able to carry on but after the battle he continuously looked at his health Bar and Energy levels which had been dropped by an incredibly large extent and Randal felt like he should at least wait for his health to recover before carrying on home in case he ran into any other unwanted enemies.

From the top of this tree he noticed that he could really see the main town/city of Urbus and chances were that he would have to read the map to find his way back but Randal wasn’t too familiar with the terrain and could probably only be expected to explore around the level a bit and that would definitely require the stealthier of approaches. Randal counted the minutes as they passed and would perpetually church his health to watch its progress, he saw as he slowly got back the health he lost during the time he was poisoned.

Randall also decided that to wait for his health to slowly come back was a great idea but felt like something wasn’t right, why did the snapper attack caravans in the first place, there was no reasons for an apex Predator like it to go after some random merchants. For some reason? Randal hasn’t actually taken a moment to contemplate the true meaning Of his actions but thankfully he was beginning to think about.

The man whom Randal met before earlier could have easily been pirates looking to steal treasure from an unsuspecting victim. Or perhaps that they were part of an animal hunting group which would plague the forest and the snapper was nature’s way of trying to solve the problem. Albeit ineffective as a result of Randal showing up, but Randal could easily figure out the snapper for a  pattern.

Nonetheless, Randal would try to figure out what happened.

And so Randal decided to make his way around the vicinity of the wolves and the poisonous snapper and to see if there were any signs of foul play, however he wasn’t sure where to Begin because the merchant earlier didn’t give him the location of the attacks for the caravans that he claimed were delivering supplies. So Randal started by looking at the map and figuring out the trade routes where caravans would usually travel past.

After exploring a bit he came across a road with some broken pieces of wood and the spooks of a caravan could be found. Exploring a bit more he didn’t manage to find any man made treasures that a caravan would normally be transporting like spices or other humanly essentials, this further convinced Randal that there was foul play amuck here.

He looked around a bit and saw that there was a material growing along the side of a rocky wall and quickly pocketed the item before continuing his investigation.

Randal decided that he needed to catch the merchant with his pants down or his hands red and promptly returned to town by following the road.

Along the way he quickly pocketed shorter material that was growing by the side of the road, disregarding the difficult battle that he had to under go, he was considered fairly lucky so far. Maybe today he would find a treasure chest too and kept an eye out.

Reaching the inn where he first met the merchant, he promptly told the man that he had been successful in his hunt and could resume business operations.

After receiving his thanks and any rewards for the quest, Randal punches himself in a room if the inn and continued to survey the merchant. He noted that the merchant traveled to a warehouse along one of the less populated streets of Urbus and saw that he maid contract with a shady group of people.

When Night really feel, Randal returned to the warriors to find that although empty, the warehouse was filled with wolf pelts and other forest based materials which further confirmed Randal’s suspicions.

Randal returned to the inn to her a good nights rest before walking up early the next morning to return to the warehouse. He saw a group of the suspicious people leaving with a wooden caravan wearing bandit like apparel.

Randal got ahead of the crowd and went ahead to the road where he saw majority of the debris and got up the Rocky Mountain sure to overlook the whole event. Asking the way he picked up some materials that were growing out the side of the cliff side.

As he saw the caravan and the group of suspicious looking people approach and clear away the debris in front of the caravan. They then started to make their way into the woods leaving two men to guard the caravan.

Randal then followed the majority if the rest of them into the forest, but as he was starting from the top of a cliff side, he had to first make his way down and that took enough time that the group who had entered the Forest was already some distance away from him. This required Randal to play catch-up to the group but that didn’t hunger him much as he still had superior eyesight as a result of his skill in searching.

Randal followed the fresh tracks of the group and saw that they were hunting the wolves in the area down with no mercy, Randal became slightly conflicted, he initially felt that they were doing something wrong but upon further introspection, he decided that their actions were no different from players who hunted monsters for training and loot. This was something that stopped Randal from doing anything right at that moment.

Along the way he also found some materials growing near a tree.

The most difficult conundrum which Randal faced was when he by chance noted some of the men who Were proclaiming that they found a wolves den and saw them enter only to come out a few minutes later carrying some dead wolf pups and some alive ones still whining with a big mother wolf slumped over the shoulder of a bigger guy. This act of brutality and lack of morality really irked Randal who always tried to leave some materials to repopulate over time do as to not cut off the resource forever.

However Randal couldn’t find the moral courage to do anything even though he thought it was wrong and just kept quiet turning his back on the operations until they left before entering the wolf den himself to see the results.

As he suspected it looked like a massacre had gone on, Randal felt bad but didn’t know what to do so he didn’t do anything. Eventually resolving it internally as the fact that he was never a huge nature buff and didn’t know exactly if what they were doing is wrong in the first place... it was just cruel.

However inside the cave, Randal did find a treasure chest.
