She looked at the snake, who was currently curled up in a ball on the desk in the shop, and she smirked. "Time to get up Noxyl, you have some training to get done today." The snake opened a single eye and looked at her before it was closed once more. "Oh no, you're not going to be lazy on my watch." She walked over to the snake and picked him up. "Let's go." Carrying the snake from the shop, she locked the doors and started to head to the exit of town. There was a goal, and it was going to get done. Whether the snake wanted it to happen or not. He was going to learn to fight. Today. Right now. It was barely sunrise, so they had time. Time was in their favor today, whether they wanted to believe it or not.

Lethia just ignored it as she continued to walk. She knew what it was that she was looking for, they were going to fight, and to fight, they needed to find some kind of monster. But to find a monster, she needed to walk and hunt one down. But, it seemed like there was nothing to be seen right now. Wasn't that just her luck? Either way, she wasn't going to stop. At least, she didn't plan on it, but Noxyl had different plans. The snake was a snake after all and was able to just wiggle his way out of her grasp before falling to the ground. She looked down at the snake and sighed, "Really Noxyl. And what would you have done if there was a rock there?" She was chastising...a snake. Lethia, are you okay in the head? She has tamed it, but it wasn't going to listen. That sounds about par for the woman. Tame something that didn't want to listen to you. Good job there Lethia. Good job. She followed the snake though, wondering where it was that the snake wanted to go. After a while, the snake finally stopped, curling up into a ball under a warm rock. She looked at the snake and she sighed, "Really..." She walked over to the snake and she poked it. "Noxyl, if you want to be a useful familiar, you need to start moving." There was a glint in the snake's eyes before he finally started to move in a direction. This was going to be an interesting pairing wasn't it. Either way, it had Lethia groaning as she started to follow the snake once more. Might as well let it lead, perhaps then it would be able to tell her when there was something near. Just let the snake go off on it's own? That was a good way for Noxyl to get himself and even Lethia hurt. She sighed though as she continued to walk behind the snake. She wanted to know what had him moving. Why he was so keen on going in this direction. But of course, she couldn't see anything that was worth while in this direction. But of course, she saw nothing, while the snake just saw little places for him to lay down and relax every once in a while. She was starting to think that training this snake was going to be a hopeless thing. She didn't want it to be that way, but with how he was acting, that was how it was going to turn out to be. But of course, thing could always change for the better, right? Edited January 5, 2020 by Lethia

Was she going to have to find some way to leash the snake? She was certain that she could get someone to make something like it. [censored], she could probably even make something like it. But that could be thought about later. Right now, they both were on edge. Why? There was something near them, they could hear it, but not see it yet. Oh, it was just a rabbit, running for it's life. She watched as Noxyl tried to attack the rabbit, probably to turn it into food, and failed miserably. "This is why you need to be more active and less lazy Noxyl." The snake didn't move, but instead kept watching ahead. The rabbit had been running from something after all. That something? Well, it was a wolf who seemed to be in a fighting mood. She barely had the time to dodge the initial attack from the wolf before she pulled her dagger from it's sheath. She grumbled something about the wolf needing a fight, and this made her smirk. She figured that the wolf was going to want to fight after the rabbit got away, and she was the closet thing that it could attack. So bring on the fight. She didn't waste time as she started to run around the wolf. Only, she had to come to a dead stop, missing her attack when Noxyl slithered into her path. Damn it! She glared at the snake for a moment before she focused back on the wolf. This was going to be a horrible fight if the snake was going to stay in the way. Lethia growled lowly as she watched the wolf. It was taunting her, and that was probably the worst idea that this wolf has had since stopping to fight her. In fact, it was just pissing her off and making things worse for itself. So when the wolf came at her once more, she quickly moved to the side before she started to run circles around it. Her eyes screamed murder as she stabbed the wolf. Once in the side and a second time in the neck. She watched as the wolf's health dropped drastically before she stopped running. Her eyes instinctively went to trying to find Noxyl, only to see the lazy snake curled up in a ball on a rock. At least he is safe. Edited January 6, 2020 by Lethia

The snake was really testing her patience and this was something that she didn't need to happen really. So, instead of poking the snake, she just sat down under the rock and leaned against it. "You know Noxyl, we need to get you trained so that we can make sure that we both are able to complete some goals." The snake finally opened his eyes and looked at Lethia. She didn't know where Noxyl was headed, but she followed the snake. She figured at this point, the snake was going to want to prove himself to Lethia. It was just more of the fact of, was it going to work? So, as they walked, she watched him go right up to a rat and stop. It was as if the snake was just going to eat the rat, but instead, he quickly bite the rat. That counted as a successful attack, just before the snake quickly ate the rat up. Lethia walked over to the snake and she gently stroked the black head that belonged to the serpent. "That is what I want to see Noxyl. Instead, she made sure that Noxyl wasn't about to fall off of her shoulders before she started to run around the boar, quickly stabbing it twice. The boar's health dropped to the red immediately, but it wasn't dead yet. That was horrible enough on it's own. But when the boar tried to headbutt her, she moved to the side and watched as the boar ran and ran. The boar stopped just in time before it ran into a tree, which was good and bad. Good, because that meant that she was going to be able to kill it soon, bad, because then it didn't get hit with more damage by running into the tree. Oh well, small wins. She didn't know why that was funny to her, but it was. Possibly it was because of the fact that she nearly died to a boar the day before. But now, she watched as the fragments from the currently dead boar drift away. She didn't get any loot, but that didn't seem to bug her any at this point. In fact, she didn't really care. Instead, she just continued to walk at this point. Noxyl was still laying across her shoulders, which was amazing really with how Lethia's only attack was. She basically had to run in circles, and yet, here the snake was, still wrapped around her as if nothing had happened at all. Amazing right? Lethia thought so in the current moment at least. She was curious to see what else that this might give herself and Noxyl. She was also curious to see how well the snake was going to do now that he knew the motivation that was needed. But, was that still going to work for her? Was the snake going to listen? She needed to figure these things out carefully really, mainly because she doesn't need to have the snake get mad at her. But she wondered if the snake was going to revolt on her if they didn't get the training done today. There were a lot of factors that were sitting in her mind as she thought about all of this. Many different factors that were making it hard for her to feel safe and secure about having a familiar at the moment. These were all things that just seemed to be worrying her. Instead of going for something small when he attempted to attack, he found himself a boar pup. This wasn't going to go well was it. That was where things first went wrong. The snake missed his attack on the boar pup, and instead managed to wake the creature up. But instead of attacking them, the boar pup took off. Okay, so maybe things were working out for them. She looked at Noxyl and she sighed, "Don't worry Noxyl, you'll learn. You have to." He had to, and fast. She heard something coming for them then, and saw the markers of two new monsters. Running around the first boar, she quickly stabbed the boar twice, watching as it's health dropped. This was good, the boar got hurt and she hadn't. Things were already looking up. But, that wasn't going to last forever, because one of the boars had it's eyes on Noxyl and was trying to move toward the snake. She didn't get very far until she had to move to the side to miss the attack from the boars. Or at least, she thought they were attacking. Maybe they were just trying to find a way to block her escape route. The second option was the most logical at the point. So she stopped and looked at the two boars before looking around. She was probably going to have to plot this escape out, and that wasn't going to be the best thing.
