The thing appears to be wholly uninterested at best and irritated at worst. It will assist newer players in their journey's 'if he must' and it is not abnormal for it to silently judge your every action. Moreover the thing always seems to know where he's going, and is more then capable of delivering letters. But you better pay up when he gets back, or watch the skies else be covered in white.
