[PP|F01] A brother-sister reunion <<Feeding The Enemy>>

Hiroshi had spent the last two years doing exactly what he did in the real world. Made connections, and acquaintances, but never really made friends. He would spend his remaining time reading. Old stories and new ones, but mostly fictional stuff. Every now and again he would browse the info brokers network to see if he could find anything new. One day he did. The boy had gone digging through the information, and he saw the word familiars in the block of information in front of him. Oh wow, I can have a pet? Awesome.

He navigated through the menu to reach the friends list and selected the name Shae. His sister was always so fun to talk to, plus easier to talk to than anyone else in this god forsaken world, so maybe spending the day with her wouldn’t be so bad. Besides, if nothing else she could get experience and Hiro was all for helping out his family.

He types out a message and presses send, before closing the menu and moving across the tavern and out into the streets. First goal of the day... find the gypsy.

She flicked a strand of hair away from her face as she leaned against a set of stone fences. 

Man, where did all of the hot guys go? 

She grimaced, pressing her palm against her cheek as she let out a heavy sigh. They probably wouldn't be a bum and stay down in the very first town, huh? She guessed that a couple of years was enough for all the good ones to level up a couple of times. The bicolored girl mumbled a variety of curses under her breath as she tilted her head.

"Darn, guess I have to finally do something in here for once," she grumbled, pouting. She had never really been one for video games unlike her brothers. The reason she got this game was probably somewhere in her head, but was she willing to put brain power into finding it?

Absolutely not. 

A short and quick ding rang out through the air. "I really hope it isn't that guy from last week," she drawled, frowning before she opened up her menu-- something she was still not necessarily used to as much as others in this hell.

A soft laugh escaped her when she realized it was her brother dearest. She smiled to herself before sending her own message, then pushing herself off of the wall. She stretched her arms above her head and grinned. Time for a little family reunion. . !

Hiroshi had sent the message and started the quest, but now he had to wait for Naoko, so he decided to sit in the center of town and wait for her. He pulls out a book and opens the page, entering a world where he never got trapped in this game. His eyes scanned the pages as he absorbed the information and imagined the world around him. His troubles seemed to fade away as he read the words on those pages.

Before long, his sister had shown up and he closed his book and put it back in his inventory. “Naoko, it’s been a while.” He said with a bright smile. Naoko had always been his favorite sibling, so he was sure he’d have fun on this adventure.

He would then turn to head towards the quest objective, which he was pretty sure he knew where it was, but he wasn’t 100% in that knowledge. Either way, only way to find out is to go. He would start off at a relaxed pace and his eyes would fall back into his book once again. She was enough to remind him of home, but she was his sister, and his favorite sibling at that, so it was a bit more bearable than his brother.

Still, home made him uncomfortable so he retreated back into his book.
