[F1-PP] A Lesson from the Leader (First Lessons)

[Gaius 0]

Watching Raidou buzz by as before, Gaius was ready this time around. Keeping up with the guy darting up behind him as he moved along at that same hushed but rapid pace. Raidou took a moment tearing across the apparatus, in a blaze akin to Zackariah's. Gaius subtly whispers Maybe its an alchemist thing as the pair of bodies tore across the building around the glass fixtures filled with varied colored liquids and the sounds of bubbling. Raidou halts and hands the NPC a vial receiving the same bag he had prior, and stepping forward Gaius says "Alright looks like it's my turn." stepping toward Zackariah who responds in a way Gaius was not expecting "You've already done this task, my lad, I am afraid you cannot do this again. Did you take that parcel to Lyle for me he may have more for you to do."

Gaius's world shatters, he didn't have to gather anything and in his confusion looks through his inventory. Sure enough, the materials he gathered didn't say quest on them, and he had a tuft of grass in his inventory. Producing it and dropping it on the floor, Gaius starts to pout while hanging his head a bit ashamed.

Simmone watched as the pair raced back into the city, looking to Shiina remarks "Come on dear, the boys sure are eager. Let's not get left behind." Waving a hand toward Shiina before taking toward the city herself. Simmone enters the small shop with Raidou carrying a small satchel, Gaius seeming as though he had had some grave error and disheartened. Looking to Raidou, her attention shifts to Zackariah and produces the required quest materials. "Well done, now let me show you something." Simmone does her best to follow the direction Zackariah was providing, hoping not to embarrass herself too harshly in front of the other two. "Alright." Simmone picks up a small vial and begins the process, grinding one of these resources she'd picked to flakes and dumping it into the top of a glass container.

A small bottle with green liquid stares back at the black lotus, flashing blue as her appraisal flares showing it as a rare healing potion. Handing it off a bit reluctantly to Zackariah who then hands her a familiar looking bag. This bag the same as the one Raidou was holding.

[Shiina 0]

Shiina was the last to enter and moved to Zackariah with an offering of what she had. Removing the plants with a retraction of each her count doesn't add up to the older gentleman who was overseeing the quest as he responds "Looks like you may need just a bit more than that, come back when..."

Shiina's eyes dart down, quickly peeling across the count she had in her grasp. One...Two...Three...Four! "CRAP!" Shiina shouts as her face contorts in a display of anguish "Hold that thought old dude!" Shiina yells and slams the door behind her.

Skittering back out of the walls in a comical display of haste, Shiina looks for the material she must have dropped. Her hands begin to toss dirt and crap around looking for the one she had most likely dropped. Sure enough still where she was, the plant lay idle in the grass. Snatching it up and running back Shiina bursts through the door. "Got it, OOF." the girl says with a pant, having robbed herself of her breath.

[Raidou 1]

Raidou watches on a bit confused by Shiina's display, seeming as though she had lost something. He couldn't make out everything that was happening from the distance and the idle chatter, and after a moment Shiina hurries off. "I wonder what is going on." Raidou whispers softly under his breath, his interests peeked as he intends to inquire further. Before he can reach Zackariah however Shiina bursts back in and moves back to the NPC.

Taking a step back and letting the girl sort out whatever was transpiring, it seemed whatever the cause was now repaired. Adjusting the glasses on his nose, he was watching with a raised brow hoping nothing else went awry and the quest could be handled without a hitch. His attentions shift while keeping an eye on the affair while opening his quest log and reading the description to see if maybe there was something he may have missed.

[Shiina 0]

Catching her breath for a moment she manages to pick herself up and find her way into the NPC quest giver guys thingy. Shiina pops into her plate armor like a turtle, worming around before removing her own plants to do the stuff with including the one she forgot. Walking over and offering them to Zackariah "That's more like it! quite the haul little one, let's see what we can make with these." Shiina pays the older guy a nod and psychs herself up, moving to the table with all the glass ma bobbers everywhere.

Shiina listens to the best of her abilities, concentrating so hard she threatens to blow a blood vessel in her face. Spinning the little bowl and stick, and giving it her best drops the little plant confetti into the big water bowl.

The liquid starts to pour out the bottom and quite a bit of the fluid pools on the floor turning black, as it boils and Zackariah moves to catch the remainder before it all leaks onto the floor. With a chuckle, he corks it and smiles at Shiina "Well done." handing her a small wrapped package and an itty bitty bag that rattles with the sounds of glass.

[Raidou 1]

Raidou chuckles a bit as Shiina almost drains her entire brew all over the floor especially after her display prior, catching himself and trying to keep his serious demeanor. A quick glance to the group and then to Zackariah Raidou decrees to the NPC "We will deliver your parcel to Lyle now." Raidou turns the handle of the enclosure, waiting for the others to follow suit. "Please do, thank you all for the effort and company."

First Gaius, who was just along for the ride at this point.

Then Simmone, that was fiddling with the bag she had received. Obviously intrigued at what was contained within.

Lastly, Shiina, Paying Raidou a grin earnestly happy at the job she had done after narrowly avoiding disaster. Patting Raidou's back as she passed by.

Closing the door the group heads to Lyle's smithery, the smell of coal and fire met with scorching heat. A man akin to an older Griswold stands over anvil, beating impurity out of the blade he was working. He halts upon their arrival, offering an outstretched hand that each player (Except Gaius) adds a small bag into. "Thank ya kindly." The older gentleman chuckles before continuing "Zackariah gets quite the aid, mind paying me some?"
