Simmone ushers the girl to continue when she looks back expectantly, warning her "It is not over yet though, it's going to try and attack now. You won't be able to move fully due to the skill stasis after an attack. Try your best to avoid the incoming attack, but it's not easy." the black cat explains, her gear in the clutches of the child who was about to become the target of the boar she had struck. This was apparent to the onlookers as it tapped its feet underneath it, its objective shown as it huffed and snorted. It smacks into her back, while she struggles to move out of the range to no prevail, the first time stasis being unknown enough to be alienating. It was a learned skill and not an obtained one learning to operate while slowed by the cardinal, one that was difficult to master and was not an exact science.

Again Shiina tried the blade to which she was unfamiliar, that had taken to a cyan color with the activation of keen. Waving it around like a mimic of Simmone albeit poorly, the girl rushes in as it glows purple. "Hyah!" Shiina shouts out as the weapon does another paltry sum of damage to her the boar she had targeted. Pulling the weapon loose with a tug, out of the shishkabob she had produced. Griswold cheered her on with a "Harrah" of his own as the girl was doing her best. Shiina was starting to fill a bit amped from the interaction, but it was clear on her frame that she was still drastically out of her element as it shook. Holding the weapon in her hands, the fear of death seeming laced in the pommel. A simple fact she could not face as the cool steel of the blade in her hand was a constant reminder.

Right after the impact Shiina had performed dealing another small sliver of damage to the beast, to its response to attempt to harm her back. A stamp of its left foreleg sizing Shiina up, it snorts with the red pinhole still active upon its frame. It was not happy at the aggression and responds with its own, as it charges. Shiina squeals and fights her feet to the side with eyes closed. The gambit pays off as the boar creates a trail of disturbed dust as it runs harmlessly past. "Good job Shiina you are getting it." 

"Hardly, this is pretty funny but kind of pathetic." Gaius expresses obviously growing impatient at this fact, no longer eating with a nice pile of empty wrapping paper littered about the ground around him like fallen leaves. "Would you shut up." Simmone snaps back "She's trying her best, you have any ideas idiot?"

Obvious distraction fuels the girl's uneasy confidence, Gaius unknowingly shattering the little she had managed to muster. She charges the blade with purple and tries to focus as the boar who had just slid past her grinds to a halt. The attack flies out a bit out of the center with the projection, glancing completely as the smoothed body of the weapon slides along with the creature who shivers from the strange sensation. Shiina can feel her face become hot with embarrassment as Gaius busts out laughing behind her.

"What is your deal!" Simmone gets visibly shaken as the air of elegance fades to a fiery temper, slapping some color from the front of his face. "What the hell you want to fight!" Gaius boasts and stands as tempers rise, the task obviously becoming a source of tension. Shiina knew it was all her fault, this should have been done already and she was the loose end binding them here.

Gaius leaps up and draws his spear flourishing it about before his attentions shift to the boar Shiina was working on. "Like this, you don't need to be so damn afraid of them!" Gaius extrudes as an emerald green light builds on his glaive. A wide arcing blow cleaves toward his target, as his visible impatience is painfully aware to the others. Gaius sheathes his weapon in a huff "I am leaving, screw this crap it is getting dark. You are going to need to figure s*** out before you try this again, we have been at this for hours and all we have done is watch you fail over and over." Gaius trails off back toward the starting village, with the others in tow including Shiina. She would have to wait until she had some other option as Gaius has had enough of this day and the three of them completing this mission would have to suffice for now.

A tad reluctant with a shake of his head, Griswold agreed "Come on girl, it is simply getting too late to continue." as he follows behind Gaius back to Lyle. Walking and transferring the three boar tusks he had pried from the face of the deceased beasts. Lyle chuckles and overs a similar roughened hand "Thank yah kindly. Here." handing Griswold a rather shoddy looking mace as a reward. A glance to Gaius, Griswold accepts the hunk of junk as he wasn't sure this was he was expecting. As he turns to leave Lyle stops him "If you would, deliver this package to Hanna for me. She's in the garden here in the city." Griswold accepts the bag of white from the NPC blacksmith's clutches into his own. "Will do." the smith nods to the NPC counterpart, a simplistic affirmation of action, as he would deliver this parcel to the girl.

Simmone pats Shiina on the back as the girl hands her back her ring and weapon, slanting her head in shame or sadness the black lotus was not sure. "We will think of something dear, or at the very least we can try again tomorrow. Perhaps your luck will be better then." Simmone expressed to the child who was visibly distressed, before her attention shift to Gaius who was leading the charge "Don't pay him no mind now, he's an idiot. Us girls got to stick together, and I'll be here for you but we should get some sleep first." As they enter the city, the group heads straight for Lyle under the dark blue moon, time was drawing thin moving closer to the next day. Griswold hands in his quest required materials and is handed a bag in a similar way as Zackariah had for the smith. Simmone barks "Great, there's going to be another one, I can feel it." as she produces her own tusks. Handing them to Lyle who in turn hands her a rather basic looking rapier and a mirrored package as the one handed to Griswold. "To Hanna." he instructs and Simmone rather reluctantly replies "If I must."

Leading the pack back to the city, he was tired of waiting for Shiina to try and fail some more attempts. After all the girl had 7 chances and bombed every single one, and there was only so much a man could take before going crazy. He believed he was right to be angry, but a bit reluctant that the girl had failed. Paying a glance back to Shiina, he couldn't help but feel a little mixed about the affair. "Listen, This just isn't working. We need a different game plan." Gaius spoke to the girl while Simmone and Griswold dealt with Lyle. "I didn't mean to make you sad, we can try again tomorrow when I am not starving. Your kind of useless at the moment." Gaius chuckled and ribbed the girl, getting her to smile and smack him.

Gaius turns in his own tusks and receives a garbage weapon "The hell is this old man, looks like trash." The NPC ignores him as Griswold punches him, who he sharply turns and glares at the guilds smith. "If you would take this to Hanna for me?" Lyle asks as Gaius replies "Yeah sure whatever. let's go team and play mailman I guess."

Shiina follows wallowing in her shame at the fact she had failed and caused so much trouble for the others. "Ok." Shiina sniffles in response to Simmone as she hands her back the gear the black cat had lent her, trying to make this task less daunting. Shiina could not help but notice that the quests she was on were far more difficult than they had been for others, wondering if she was plagued by some sort of curse.

One by one the players turn in the required tusks to Lyle further cementing her failure, in her mind before Gaius pipes up and says a few words. "You are a meanie..." Shiina smacks the back of his right thigh but chuckles a bit feeling better despite it coming from Gaius. Griswold leads as Simmone and Shiina hold a conversation as the group heads to Hanna. Each player but Shiina takes to turn the parcel into to Hanna. "Well if that's everything, come back tomorrow and I may have some more work for you lot." Shiina is sad due to that instead they would be trying to help her instead of progressing forward. She decided to raid the guild supply and set this right tonight, and save the rest the trouble.
