[E3/SP/F11] Determination Pt. 2

Quest: Nature's Treasures

Titan had everything figured out for these damn Easter Eggs after finally meeting the Easter Egg boys and hearing all of the items they had prepared to trade for those who had enough eggs only lit a fire under him to return to his grinding spot on the 11^th floor in that beautiful Courtyard that seemed like it constantly went untouched.

They shared with them the prospects of a demonic weapon? Who even knew something that like existed! Nevertheless, Titan was eager and reinvigorated with the stamina to continue another hour or so of searching for those Easter Eggs. For this very moment, the materials he’d gain on the floor were a very beneficial bonus.

Walking into the Courtyard, Titan immediately spotted two clumps of grass that he pocketed as well as five easter eggs just resting casually against the stone wall. Perhaps this spot would be even kinder to Titan this time around since he really need 125 eggs if he wanted everything from the store that seemed worth getting.

As soon as Titan swung open the gate, he spotted five Easter eggs that had spawned within the tiny openings seemed to all fall down at once onto the grass of the courtyard and he couldn’t help but bend down and pick them all up. This was quite the good haul for first showing up and Titan opened up his inventory and chucked all five eggs into his inventory. It was a slow process but he was almost at around 300 eggs and he knew with just a little bit more work, he’d get to as far as he needed to for the items the Easter Bros had been offering.

This time he decided he would work from the southern entrance of the courtyard and go counterclockwise to scan and loot the area he hadn’t yet been to in his little gardening solace. It looked identical to where he had been before, the grass about a week from it’s last cut to add a natural look to the otherwise digitally manicured space.

The player knew that this beautiful courtyard loved to have little tricks and areas where the eggs would simply hide for the sake of it. This is why he got to his knees, bending down to examine the thick rocks that made up the base of the rock wall that enclosed the gathering area and noticed a bit of a peculiar thing happening. One rock seemed to be protruding out a bit more than the rest and that’s when Titan went to grab for it, his fingers just able to grip onto the jagged stone and he pulled it out surprisingly. Inside, was a collection of three Easter Eggs with the most golden hues with designed etched into the side. “ Dang, these look really fancy. ” A bit surprised as he took a single egg and dropped it into his inventory, expecting the egg count to increase significantly. However, it was just counted as one egg. Disappointed, Titan collected the rest and placed the rock into place.

This time Titan decided to stay in the same ares but got off of his knees and stood up, fingertips grazing against the grass growing in-between the rocks of the wall until he spotted two weeds that he recognized could be used for the potions he had been working on making. " Oh yes. " A quick boost in motivation as he gripped at the roots of the first one and yanked them out before going to the other one, collecting them both in a matter of seconds before placing them into his inventory. 

Next, he did the same thing with the rocks on this level and pushed at each one separately in a small area. It seemed to come quick as after the fifth push, the rock turned around and showed off three Easter eggs for Titan to collect. " See, I knew these devs were smart but once you figure out the system, collecting is pretty easy. " Titan plopped the three eggs into his inventory before turning the rock back around.

This time, Titan took a glance over to the very top of the wooden rock wall to examine and see if there was anything on the very top hiding for Titan to loot. His eyes immediately noticed six Easter eggs on the very top just laying there for Titan to grab, all six being thrown fairly quickly into his inventory with a smirk. Additionally, two more materials sat ready to be plucked at the very time of the wall as well. Titan eagerly placed all of them into his inventory with a smirk, excited that he'd been collecting a fairly large amount of eggs during his second go within this courtyard. He knew he only had a little bit of time left to collect eggs and he just wanted to get to the number he needed to by then. Slowly and surely, Titan vigilantly continued for hammering along to his goals.

Feeling fairly successful from this one tiny area of courtyard, Titan walked a couple of steps into the new area of the courtyard that hadn't quite been fully scavenged for material and resources like the first spot. It wasn't super difficult, especially with Titan's two ranks in searching to spot the amount of eggs he needed to succeed. His eyes went for the floor first, patches of grass seemed to be hiding six Easter eggs and two weed materials for him to collect. Bending down onto the floor, Titan quickly scooped up each different item and tossed them into his inventory giving his current totals to 28 Easter Eggs found and 10 pieces of material. He was feeling quite zealous, his own desires powering him through this collecting. At least he had been reminded that at crunch time, Titan had been able to prove himself over and over again. He needed 50 more or so and he'd be truly set.

Eggs, eggs and more eggs is all he had on his mind as he wanted to secure the last three items that could reroll items and buffs on weapons that weren't super ideal. After his conversation with Shield, the man knew that he needed to focus and continue collecting anything and everything he needed if he truly wanted to be the best. If he did this now, when he hit tier three he would be in such a great place for success. And so he did, he focused on what was in front of him and pressed once again on the rocks. This time it only took a few presses before one of the rocks turned around in place exposing five Easter eggs and 2 materials for him to collect. " Yes, this is what I like to see. " his words were eager, excited almost as he continued forward in his conquest of this dang event.

After he found his eggs and materials hidden inside of the rock, like clockwork the man stood and began to scan the very top of the rockwall that seemed to have a few compartments that he could press on to expose additional hiding places. After a couple of random pressing, Titan saw as his button press opened up the very top to showcase five more easter eggs and two materials again from the hiding places. It seemed as though the sneaker of a position that Titan tried to find, the easier it had been to find a big cluster of eggs and materials. " Alright, just a little bit more. " The man murmured while he opened up his inventory and shoved both eggs and materials inside of it before he pressed the button to close the top of the wall. If this continued to happen, he'd only need twenty minutes of active farming before he finished.

He pushed himself off of the wall and this time decided to go a bit further into the courtyard which is something he hadn't done yet. Titan focused on the perimeter as it seemed to have the most easter eggs and materials per ratio but perhaps the inside would have just as much as well. It had been a fairly large courtyard considering how dense and compact the eleventh’s floor city had been.

Titan took a step and immediately heard a little bit of a crack underneath his foot, looking down at where he stepped and found two clumpy grass pieces that could be used for alchemy. “ Nice. ” With haste, the man plucked them from the floor before a glimmer of sparkle caught his eye from a few feet ahead of him. There, two glimmering eggs sat waiting to be claimed. “ And with that, you’re mine. ” Shoving them into his inventory with a smirk, this was going really well.

He stayed on the floor, somehow this vantage point seemed to be pretty advantageous when it came to spotting material along with eggs. Titan hadn't expected such a limited view to be beneficial but who was he to complain? He crawled on his hands and knees for about three feet before there had been a small sprouting clump of weeds, but large enough to be picked and identified as materials. Titan placed that into his inventory and saw a clump of grass. He often knew what that meant and picked at the top layer to spot three colorful Easter eggs underneath. His inventory wide open, he tossed each egg individually and counted as his number seemed to be closer to 350 than 300 at this point. " Just a little more and i'll be set. " Titan didn't expect the fire to be lit so intensely but it was and he knew he'd have to do all of this if he even wanted a chance to close the gap between him and those who sat so ambitiously at the top and at the front lines.

He decided he'd stay here for a little bit longer. On his hands and knees seemed to really provide such a huge quantity of eggs and he looked inside the hole he just opened, six additional eggs waiting further on the bottom of the pile. Surprised, he moved in closer and inspected the hole for any trap doors or any openings for any additional eggs. It seemed to be that was it and Titan with his already opened inventory, tossed each and every single one of the six eggs from the pit inside. " Alright, I think that's enough of that. " he felt like he got quite a bit of loot from the inside too but he didn't quite like the crawling bit and having to be so low without his back covered. So instead, Titan headed back to the wall for more eggs and materials, appreciating that he could at least look out to see if anyone was around with a better vantage point.

Titan was feeling quite ambitious and would continue forward in his pursuit of eggs and materials. After dusting himself off from the floor, (not that he actually could get dirty) Titan walked with a quick pace back over to the wall that seemed to have respawned a bunch of loot that he had been waiting for. Already at the very bottom of the wall, two easter eggs sat right for the picking and sitting right next to it was a weed that could be used for potions. Titan bent down, picked both of the things up with a quick pluck and shoved them into his inventory with a smile. This was the roll that he wanted to be on, his blue eyes eagerly searching around for more. Titan began pressing at the rocks, seeing if any of them would open up for more loot. It seemed though at this point, nothing was coming up his way with the tricky rocks and they were exactly that, rocks.

He wouldn't give up though, not yet as he was so close. He'd get enough materials and more importantly eggs before the day was over. He made it to the corner of the first portion of the rock wall and his eyes squinted at the tall tower that rested at the very top about five feet taller than the wall had been. It would make sense if there had been something hiding up there and Titan hoisted himself up onto the rock wall and with his long, lengthy arms began to reach for the spear that pointed directly to the sky in the corner. As Titan had guessed, he felt a sphere in his hand as he searched and tossed it down into his free hand and continued to search. It seemed as though through this he had been able to find two more and a piece of weed just hanging out on the corner. With that, the man jumped down onto the courtyard floor and closed his inventory for now.

The corner where the pillar met the rock wall seemed to spawn three easter eggs and two materials, just right there for the taking. " Oh wow, this is surprising. " He mostly mused to himself as no one else had been around, picking each vibrant egg and the two pieces of weed from their resting spot and placed them into his inventory. It seemed as though that everything would all work out for him, he'd just need to keep up the vigor and tenacity of what he had been searching for. 

For now, Titan sat down on the wall for a quick little breather. He’d collected so much and with such an intense speed that he just needed a smile rest to breathe and regain his stamina. If he kept it up, he’d be fine. However, it seemed as though an alert appeared with a warning to those collecting eggs.

The message appeared in a bright red alert with gray words with a countdown clock now showing up within the message as well. “ F^*&. ” He muttered, the curse word rolling off of his tongue with ease and the censor system seemed to still be in tact. “ I guess I can’t rest too much, huh. ” He groaned, pushing himself off the wall and began his search with more intensity. His eyes spotted two more eggs and with vigor, he quickly gripped onto both of them and tossed them into his inventory. “ Well, here’s a good time than any to just grab as many as I can while running. ” Titan began to stretch his legs, the feeling was enough to make him feel like it would be effective for his last minute ditch effort for eggs.

Titan placed his spear into its holder and shifted it onto his back, he wouldn't be in need of that while he continued forward. " It's on! " Titan let out a roar, letting his own adrenaline bring him to a place where he could continue and he began to sprint with all of his energy with a low form. It was effective, or he hoped so as he found two materials right off the bat. He opened up his inventory, leaving it open during this moment as he actively threw the clumps into the gray box before spotting three eggs in a row. In his quickened pace, Titan plucked one and tossed it into his free hand and in a constant rhythm tossed both of them into his inventory while he aimed for the last one. It all seemed to work as he collected three additional by the sheer luck of his throws.

His pace had still been incredibly quick, his feet moving at an overtime that they had not been used to but he had about seven more minutes to hurry this up. His eyes glanced over to his own energy bar that was depleting a lot quicker than he was used to as he just moved within the courtyard. To an onlooker, he'd look absolutely insane but he honestly did not care when it came to the type and quality of items he'd receive if he did this right. 

His eyes spotted them, two eggs and a clump of weed about ten feet ahead. He'd try something different this time, holding his inventory box with one hand and his free hand spread out to grip them. He got close and patted each item with his fingertips into the inventory and it seemed to work as he collected the two easter eggs and materials in a jiffy. It was cheating the system a little bit but he needed to, just for this one instance when speed mattered.

This time there was two eggs about fifteen feet ahead. Titan looked at the clock, he had three minutes from the limit to finish everything that he needed to. The man went even faster, the fastest he ever could in all of his life for the sake of the eggs. His nimble fingers could do this one with breeze. He moved forward, bent low and with a zeal as he picked up a single egg and tossed it into his inventory. He turned around, his heels moving as he gripped what he could and threw the second egg into his inventory with as much quickness as he could. Both eggs now disappeared into his inventory and the man was off again, this time focusing on the middle of the courtyard than had been quite a boon of both materials and eggs when he went the first time. He hoped it all respawned for these last two minutes of egg grabbing.

His energy had been at about twenty percent at this point and he exhaled and inhaled while his chest began to expand and collapse even quicker. The beads of sweat appeared on his forehead as Titan had been incredibly tired during this time but a time limit could do absolutely everything to someone's motivation. He spotted the five eggs and two materials just a bit ahead, he would use the same technique this go around. His hands were swift as he tapped each egg individually to get exactly what he wanted and they seemed to all fly into his inventory with a haste he hadn't seen before. He had about a minute left as he pinched at the two clumps of weed and placed them into his inventory. 

The eggs began to materialize and Titan would simply be happy with whatever he had been able to claim during his mad sprint for eggs and materials.

Titan's eyes spotted the five last eggs that had just been in reach before they disappeared into tiny little pixels and headed right for the air. He knew that he could still collect a few last material for now and spotted the two clumps of weed that he picked and placed into his inventory. It had been quite the night and with every single one of his eggs and mats he collected, Titan was getting closer and closer to being too exhausted to move. He pushed himself off from the floor and walked towards the gate to head back down to the teleporter.

Titan wouldn’t give up too easily in his search for mats though, knowing how beneficial it’d be to have a bit more material on hand for when his current stock went low. He had the glow of a man who tried his hardest and felt good with how much he had been able to do in such little time and knew that it was a great show of his own current capabilities.
