[Oscar 0]

Needing to get back into the swing of things and Warren having fallen of the face of the planet, Oscar had a mighty need to collect some Crafter's Respites. Where else would he go than into his own backyard? Word had reached his ears that a Grandmaster Alchemist had cropped up on Floor 1. It didn't take much looking into in order to find what he needed. Dashing in, Oscar browsed through the wares to find what he needed. On account of his own low material count, Oscar swung back by Cintamani shortly after his initial visit. He had no idea when Warren would be back at it so he purchased enough Damage Potions to last him far longer than necessary. Additionally, he picked up some Tier 4 Mitigation potions just in case. You never really knew when those would come in handy and with all the changes, Oscar didn't really know when he would have time to set foot in the kitchen again. One had to spend money to make money, but Oscar was becoming all too comfortable with spending and really needed to focus on earning for the foreseeable future.

Yona was almost finished making sure she was ready for what lies ahead, she just had two more stops. First, there was this Alchemist's shop she'd heard of, so she was going to take a look. Upon entering, she wondered if she stumbled into the wrong place, as it looked more like a cafe than the usual alchemist's dwelling. Then again, there were all kinds of different designs to various shops, so she might as well take a look and confirm just to be sure.

As it turned out, this was an Alchemy shop, after all. Yona was able to realize this when she took a look at the available wares. Well, she knew what she wanted, and she knew what she could pay, so it was off to the counter for her as to make a purchase...or two.

Rare was the day that Kura wouldn't already be farming in the fields of the first floor in the morning, and even rarer was the fact that he had no plans whatsoever to grind. He planned for today to be about working on his profession, but after going out for almost everyday to grind, it felt strange to not at least greet the morning sun. And so he was taking a casual walk around town.

The main street was a refreshing sight to him as well, sticking to the slums more often than not. There were plenty of shops and players he had never seen before peaking his curiosity, including the Cintamani. And by coincidence, said shop was the closest thing that caught his interest, and he made his way towards it.

"Coffee." 

Kura's immediately recognized the aroma as soon as he entered into the shop. That use to be his bread and butter whenever he wanted to put off sleep for the sake of completing something, a situation that happened far too frequently back in the real world. Consequently, it was a drink that he used to drink often and grew fond of.

However, he would not be drinking it today, much his displeasure.

Apparently caffeine adversely affects one singing, his profession, and he held enough self restraint to not immediately order the drink. Internally however, he made a note that as soon as he was able to, that coffee would be purchased and consumed.

Stomping out the temptation, he looked around for anything else that would catch his eye. He saw the tea, and while used to drinking the stuff, he never particularly liked it. Then he saw the "Liquor of Light". Liquid sunshine sounded interesting enough and the book he bought didn't say anything about that having negative affects on singing.

And so he would go through the motions of the purchase. With a "Thank you" and a wave, he would make his way outside. But before he would leave, Kura would look at the coffee one more final time, bite down on his desires once more, and go out, looking to pursue his craft once more.

After another day of grinding, Kura was walking through the Town of Beginnings, the sun setting behind him. It was an exciting day with him dipping his toes in higher floors. However, that mattered little to him currently. No, right now he looked to make good on the promise he made himself after his first purchase at the Cintamani. And as soon as he stepped inside again he caught the aroma of his desire.

"Coffee."

Coffee indeed. It was late in the afternoon, no time to be having any caffeine of any sort. Kura didn't care. Going through the motions, he purchased a few drinks that caught his interest as well as the grand prize, a "Cold Brew Coffee". The joy in his eyes would be palpable as he made his purchase, a little too happy with his drink of beans in hot water. But happy he was, walking out and nursing his new drink with great care.

Kura was becoming a regular at this rate, going towards the Cintamani at the end of the day to restock on supplies. Looking through his inventory, he did some rudimentary math and found that he didn't have enough to purchase to get a coffee alongside his crafting supplies. His priority was his performer profession currently so of course he would sacrifice the drink, however that didn't stop him longing for some caffeine.

Making it to the cafe cum potion shop, he would enter into the store and immediately head towards the shelf that contained the "Dragon's Breath". Then he would go through the motions of purchasing as per normal minus the coffee, its aroma tempting him to forego the "Dragon's Breath" entirely and just buy coffee with his Col. But he shoved that thought aside, and bought only the potion. Quietly, he made the goal of getting a steady enough income to purchase coffee everyday alongside his materials. But for now, just the "Dragon's Breath" would do.

Then, later on in the day, Kura would walk right back in. Already burning through his stock of "Dragon's Breath", he would trade the materials given to him by his sponsor for more consumables that would assist his craft. 

Kura already knew that a profession was an expensive thing to begin, but he didn't realize that he would practically empty his pockets every single time in order to remain efficient during the process. So he was glad for the infusion of materials, even if he didn't believe he necessarily deserved it. However, he knew that he would try his best to repay it in kind, and that meant more crafting. 

He would purchase another set of bottles and continue back to his inn room, ready to record his next attempts at singing.
