His footsteps stepped right up behind the door that was about to close. His hand caught the door from closing, and he pushed it back open. His eyes scouted around the shop as it hadn’t really changed since he had been her awhile ago. Eyes happened to land upon his darling fiancé, and he spoke. “Well howdy there.” He spoke softly as he leaned over kissing her cheek. Amber eyes would look at Simmone and Sam before speaking to them. “I’m here for the same reason.” There would be no other reason for the duo to be here.

He placed both his wraps and his item present for them to work their magic.

Sam disappears around the corner. It seemed like ages that she was gone. For some reason these items were more difficult than others to reroll. To be fair though she had only done one others reroll before this. Eventually she walks out and tells the couple that she needed some time to do this and that she would contact them when they were finished.

A few days later, she exhales and wipes her brow. "Perfect," she says with a smile as she sents a message to both Kiluia and Haine letting them know that their weapons were completed and apologized that it took so long. They come in as a couple and grab the weapons. She hoped that these would be of use to both of them and wished them the best of luck.

Things were beginning to change for this teenager. After years of being left to rot in this game, she had finally decided that it was time she try to do something. She had forgotten how long it had been since she last saw her family. Six years? It felt like a century had gone by.

Nevertheless, the brunette needed to get her hands on some good gear. If she knew one thing about RPG games, it was that gearing up was one of the most important parts. SAO couldn't be too different from online open-world games, could it?

Sera stepped into the Black Odyssey, looking around the place for anything useful. She saw mention of packages for certain gear types. She would have to ask the teller about it. A pair of NPC's awaited at the counter. "H-Hi." The girl waved. "I saw you guys had offers for certain packages with new sets of gear. I could really use one."

A scattering of the twins as they bow to Sera upon her request. "Aye!" The extrude as they rush off in varied directions, diving head first into cabinets and chests to retrieve all that they needed to fill the order. They begin to piecemeal the gear together in a pile with clatters in the center of the room. Moro leaps up and dusts off her dress. Reaching down and peeling all the gear off the floor as Maru approaches with a silver platter to accept payment. They speak together in unison "Thank you for your patronage!" as they both bow and make the exchange.

It was late into the afternoon when a diminutive man in a knit cap slouched into the shop, hands in pockets. He cleared his throat roughly to get the shopkeeper's attention, his eyes cast sidelong at the wall.

This is stupid... I hate asking for help...

"Hey," he began hesitantly, still avoiding eye contact. "I've heard around town that you sometimes cut new customers deals. I don't have much cash, but I need a basic outfit of some sort. Something to keep me up and fighting out in the wilderness." It was uncomfortable even asking, and it showed in the scowl on his features. The words were ash in his mouth. He wanted to spit to clear the memory of them from his mouth, but if he wanted help, he was going to have to play nice and not mess up the shop.

Shifting his weight uncomfortably from one foot to another, he went on to describe his specific needs. "I'm going for a 'Heavy Hitter' build, so I'll want Heavy Momentum on a set of armor at the very least and... I don't have a familiar yet... so I'm going to need a good trinket to help me there..." His brows were still furrowed, though working through the practicalities of his request to distract from his discomfort. "You got anything like that lying around?"

Sam was sitting on a stool with her legs crossed with a small black book and a pen in hand. Hearing the door open, Sam's eyes shift toward the entrance seeing a male. As he speaks Sam slowly lowers her black book. His demeanor seemed like he was holding something back. The no eye contact made her feel like he was uncomfortable with everything he was telling her. "You heard right," she sets the small book closed on the counter. "The thing is, we don't do basic here. We deal in nothing but perfects and sometimes rares. We will still cut you a deal if it's still what you want." Sam gets up from her chair and grabs a few papers from underneath the desk.

Setting them on the countertop with a pen in hand she pushes the paper across to him. Explaining more so he understood why "My guild gives newer players the best chance of survival in the world we call home. The money will be needed yes and deals will be struck, but first I need the specifics of what you're looking for. Chances are, you won't have to wait for very long." A smile curves over her mouth as she looks to the boy with her head curved to the side slightly, pointing at the paper.

The young woman seemed at ease in her shop, which did help assuage his discomfort, but not much. He straightened up some, but still did not meet the shopkeeper's gaze. "For sure, I need a perfect quality Loot Die trinket. If you know any performers who can record a song of Familiar Sight, that would be a huge help as well, plus a Pheromone. I'm good on weapons for now, but I definitely need a set of heavy armor with two slots of Heavy Momentum and probably one of Recovery..." He did his best to run through his mental checklist, scrunching up his face as he racked his brain. "I will also want a defensive option... probably a perfect Evasion trinket..."

He knew he was forgetting things. His face continued to screw up even more as he tried to thin, and he scratched the back of his head through the knit beanie that was pulled low around his skull. There was too much to manage, and it was starting to make his head hurt. Finally, he sighed and threw a half a glace towards the shopkeeper. "Is there anything else you can think of a noob might need? I feel like I'm leaving something out..."

An odd-looking, old-fashioned shop? it seems like it would sell some kind of lucky jars or charms for Plini. That however cant' hide the the feeling that the shop is prosperous, managed well and... "ah please don't kiss each other" Plini told the two NPCs as he entered the shop.

An easy request, he looked at the stocks and packages laid out. "I see, this way anyone can actually buy what they need with less hassle, very impressive" he thought. He had enough money to buy two packages, thanks to the guy whom he joined for an expedition, it would be a waste to leave it stagnating inside his pocket.

"I'd like a DPS and tanking consumables package each..." he pulled out some col from his inventory "for a tier one player" he added.

DPS + Tank consumable package = 2925 col

Stepping through the Stone Gate and wooden doors, she would find herself in an odd shop. While she had abandoned her crafting profession, merchants were definitely useful in some cases. She had been carrying a Demonic Item around for sometime and had needed to get it appraised. 

The white-haired woman, adorned in black, stepped forward, noting the two Yellow-cursored people who were attending to the door. 'NPCs? Interesting choice.' The scenery of the shop made her question if she was instead in a Tailor's shop instead of a merchants. 

"Umm... hello. I was wondering if you could appraise this item?" She opened her inventory, producing the Demonic "Sick Jacket" to her. "I also wanted to know if you maybe had something to change an item's name or appearance?" Hidden's words were as sincere as she could say, but the effort in saying them and hesitation were almost too clear for anyone to pick up.

A soft exhale as she looks to Sam who was handling a purchase with another patron, this woman in her silver hair was speaking with the twins. Rising from her recliner, breathing out slowly drops a handful of smoke from her lips. The cigarette still burns, as Simmone moves closer with a sway. "That is my job dear." Lifting the strange looking jacket from the NPC child's clutches, little pink haired Maru smiles jubilantly. A shift as she moves back into her chamber, sliding across her seat and folding her legs, eying the piece of equipment curiously. "Maru dear, I think we have something for that." as a response for the girls second request, the girl immediately darts away knowing full well to what Simmone was referring.

"So my dear, cost to the system for such an appraisal will run 2560 Col. Is that agreeable?" Spoken as Maru rushes back into the chamber, Simmone lifts the small slip of paper and turns it over. "Thank you, please see to it that Sam handles her business." In response Maru salutes and yelps "Aye!" before scampering off. The black lotus could smell it, the girl was trying to be polite for her sake. "Come in my chamber, we can discuss further. Perhaps you may speak freely." Her lip quivers and takes on a mischievous grin. The white hair, the orange marker. A visit in a shop within the confines of a town currently. This girl was Hidden.

Sam's head pops around the corner saying "Simmone seemed to think so," as she sits on the chair behind the counter. Listen to the costumer with a simple nod of understanding. "A DPS package and Tank package coming right up. I will return shortly with your order." She gets up from the chair and disappears around the corner. She is gone for about 10 or so minutes before she returns with 2 separate bags with the contents of each package inside. "That will cost you..." she pauses as she quickly counts what the boy set on the counter. "Well, that will be 2925*Col. Nice," the boy knew how to count. It would make her job that much easier. She collects the col and scoots the 2 bags across the table. "Come back whenever you need something else, okay. You are always welcome," with a smile she walks around the corner as she hears the door's bell jingle twice.

Hidden found it rather odd that the merchant seemed to wish to speak with her in private. What was there for the woman to gain out of a conversation with her. She steps forward into the woman's chamber, a wary expression worn on her face. 

"That price is fine." Hidden assured the raven-haired merchant. The way she made her words out had been strange. This woman herself... was strange. "You mentioned the cost to the system, is that the same as the cost to me? You don't seem like one who would market things at the systems price.  You are a part of Firm Anima, your guild squeezes the system dry. It doesn't make any sense to not attempt to make a profit." 

Hidden's violet eye trained themselves on the woman's form. "Or perhaps the reason is different. You know who I am so you give me the full discount? Even though we have no relationship between eachother?" Her eyes fell on the paper turned towards her. She still wanted the items. But why was this woman treating her different? She doubted it was fear. The only other reason could be Raidou. Maybe she could find out just how much he had talked about her to his guild members.

"Au contrare my dear, as much as I would wish to charge more for my services. The guild master forbids me from doing so to any patron, the cost is purely what is owed to the cardinal. Nothing more and nothing less." She takes another long drag of that cigarette and breathes it out slowly before placing it into a nearby tray as the doors snap shut via the NPC girls behind her. "These walls, no one can hear you." She pauses for a moment before saying the rest. "Hidden, your quite the talk of the towns, you know. That secret will remain safe with me, I do not sell words but buy them." The black lotus stands and moves closer to the girl, holding but a few inches on her in height and draped in that long loose fitting yukata in blacks and golds.

"I see you are hiding yourself behind those words, for my sake or for the sake of civility. Don't my dear. Be yourself, be proud of it for you do me a disservice holding your tongue on my account." Simmone bats a lash, a pair of burgundy red iris seeing right through the charade. The woman was practiced in these little affairs, time and time again, there would be some in her court that would try to put on a front, she'd become routine in seeing through them. "So my girl the question is, why does Raidou pass his protection onto you, with your very obvious little cursor showing your past?" She was curious, as it was an oddity she wished to collect as she held that slip of paper out and offered it to the woman.

The doors closed to Simmone's private quarters within The Black Odyssey, leaving the two at each other's mercy. A puff of smoke wafted into the air from a drag of a cigarette, before Simmone assured her that no one could hear her anymore. As soon as that crossed the table, the woman's words began to hold more weight. 

"Hidden, your quite the talk of the towns, you know. That secret will remain safe with me, I do not sell words but buy them." A fake chuckle escaped the silver-haired girl's lips before she sarcastically mentioned, "Funny huh? Its almost like attention is what I don't want. Make your username Hidden and everyone wants to find you I guess." The woman moved closer, forcing Hidden to make a step back. She didn't really feel the need to be any closer to this woman. 

 "So my girl the question is, why does Raidou pass his protection onto you, with your very obvious little cursor showing your past?"

Hidden stifled her laugh. "His protection huh? Our deal doesn't cover that." Hidden's expression remained wary. She knew this woman's type. One that basked in the information accidentally revealed through light conversation. "If he's supposed to be 'protecting' me nonetheless he isn't doing a very good job. Just last week someone kidnapped someone just to get at me. He wasn't there then. Though, you can't expect him to be everywhere either. Our relationship is based on... convenience." A slight pink rose to her pale cheeks. Despite this, she shifted the conversation away from her in an attempt to not reveal more information than needed. Information in itself was a weapon, and placed in the right hands it could deal damage. 

"So, what exactly do the 'Towns' have to say about someone like me? I'm going to guess they aren't flowery compliments."
