The detail around was impressive. The individual blades of grass, the leaves on trees, even small animated ants and other insects that crawled or flew around. Even now, after being in the game for however long it had been, Lu Bu was impressed by the details. A lot of effort had gone into making the digital world around them realistic, but still fantastical and otherworldly, and it was something Lu Bu could appreciate. It made the guy feel like he should have been playing videogames a lot earlier in his life, instead of pursuing sports and fitness club ideals. Still, given the situation - and the literally being stuck nature of the game - it wasn't like Lu Bu had much choice now; he was simply part of the machine, until something happened to either free him or... well, he didn't know.

"Damn, how far away is this place?!" Lu Bu shouted, as he paused to look around. He had been walking the path to the gathering location for a while now. The tall, muscular teenager scratched at his chin, eyes narrowed. "Is it... that way?"

With a huff, Lu Bu started stomping in the direction he thought was the way, all the while thinking it would be handy to have some way of seeing a quest location on some kind of map. But since the guy wasn't exactly the experienced gamer, nor had he paid any attention to the instruction booklet before playing, Lu Bu was playing blind. Along the way, Lu Bu passed a party of players, a mixed bag of character classes and stuff, but they had a few cutie girls among their number...

"Heyhey, Ladies!" Lu Bu called. "Are ya winning?"

Lu Bu grinned, as he stepped to one side on the path, to let the group pass. The tall swordsman winked at a particularly pretty support type, as he noted the girl's extremely long hair and pretty blue eyes. With a whistle to himself, Lu Bu flipped his long curved sword around, before thumping it back on his shoulder to rest it there. Then, with a sniff, the tall player started to swagger along the path again; he glanced back, and was pleased to see the cutie support type was also mid-glance, to which Lu Bu waggled his eyebrows and then kept going.

It took another ten minutes of walking for Lu Bu to reach the destination. Or what he thought was the location. The guy stood on a rock, dramatically with one hand rested on a knee, as he peered around. There was a lake nearby, some dense forest across the way, and what seemed like a field between both. Perhaps that field was where Lu Bu needed to be? Either way, the fighter jumped off the rock and landed in a hero pose, before he stood and sauntered over to see if there were things to gather.

...

There wasn't. As far as he knew.

"GODDAMNIT, WHERE AM I MEANT TO BE?!" Lu Bu shouted, as he shook his fists in anger at the sky. "THIS IS WHY I HANG OUT IN THE TAVERN!"

Lu Bu kept raging a while, as he stomped on the grass, swung his sword at some saplings and generally tried to burn off his annoyance; and all the while, he had no idea that he was being watched...

Being watched he was, and not because she was particularly interested in watching the man, but because the outburst her made was rather loud and disturbed all the fish in the lake. The shuttled away as quickly as possible. Shye sighed heavily. Nothing was biting anyway, so maybe it would be best to just start gathering the old fashioned way. With her shitty luck, she was soon to fish up a monster that she wouldn't be able to take on herself anyway.

Quickly packing up her things, she makes her way over to the jock who had disrupted her quiet fishing and started taking a look for materials. Her skills were suited for this kind of thing and she enjoyed it enough, but first, maybe she should do something for a change and help another person, instead of just being carried through every existing quest in the game. She popped a sucker in her mouth and moved the headphones - which by the way didn't work, like what the fuck - around her neck.

"Excuse me-" She started, only realizing how absolutely big he was when she had gotten this close. That's a lot of muscle. "You... uh, seem like you could use some help. What are you up to?"
