She'd stumbled upon the kitchen through pure accident, staring at the selection of items on display as she felt herself beginning to salivate. It was only just coming to her awareness of how hungry she was, and as the eyes of the cook eventually turned towards her, Nymoria found herself suddenly rushed to make a decision. Her eyes scanned over the available items, before eventually pointing to one, her silence hovering over the entire area as she waited for the cook to follow through with providing the item. A quick transfer of col, and then she made her way from the area, determined to leave it - and the embarrassing moment - behind in her memories.

Having heard of a traveling cook from various players, Katoka had never outright sought out the location itself. She did hope that maybe one day she would stumble upon it in her travels. Today had apparently been that day. Even though she had heard about this shop she was still surprised to find it in the middle of nowhere on the first floor. Having just finished looking in the area for some crafting materials for her alchemy stock she pushed through a few bushes and into a clearing.

Taking a moment to collect herself she stepped forward and ordered a couple of things she thought she might need in the future. She thanked the man and transferred the col to him before slinking back into the woods, trying not to look over her shoulder and stare.

The popup kitchen was, without a doubt, an interesting concept. Nymoria found herself wandering over to the bar like setup and glancing over everything, her eyes going wide when she saw the selection available. She wondered if she would be able to afford anything here, the pieces look exquisite to her eyes. Small price displays confirmed that, although expensive, it was well within her ability to afford.

Excuse me, I'd like to place an order for a few items... Her hands moved in her typical signage, before pointing to the things she wanted. She was careful to choose only those that wouldn't bankrupt her, or place her in a precarious situation, financially.

A cook in the middle of no where was hardly expected, but it wasn't unwelcome either. Warden browsed Demian's wares, mostly out of curiosity. He ended up finding something of interest, and decided to purchase it.

"Thanks," Warden said as he left.

He would wait until a warmer day to eat the gelato, and stored it in his inventory until that day came. The fifth floor seemed like an okay place to try it. Perhaps he would make his way there. He had other business there, so it would kill two birds with one stone.

With the crack of a teleport crystal, he was gone.

The insistent sniffing predates the girl, giving her away as she comes in out of seemingly nowhere. The bushes offer her no cover as they rustle, before on all fours she pouches out with drool on her lips and nearly finds the campfire in the center. "Whatcha Makin'" The girl barks as she starts tilting and pivoting trying to peer in every available orifice. "Cyan i buy shome, nya?" The brain short circuits and ends in a baser nature. She'd peruse her pouch for any scrap of coin she can muster, because that shit smelled divine. It wasn't blue mackerel but it sure was a tough contender for second place.

There was something about cooking outside that just made the food smell and taste so much better than anything cooked in a neat and tidy kitchen, enough so that it was instantly noticeable.

But that would not be enough, he would need to actually grab some consumables as well.

Stumbling upon the kitchen out in the wild, he saw the player preparing multiple food items under a canopy of green leaves. "Interesting place to set up shop." he would say with a smile as he looked over the menu.

Looking to stock up on energy before he went out grinding mobs, Hanzoku had counted it his lucky day when he ran across this pop up restaraunt just outside the elven capitol of Ellesmera on Floor 8. Having grown stronger from the quests he's already done, the ambitious adventurer has been forced to move up the tower to find mobs that can still drop loot for him.

Finding the stand set up and with arrays of food set out, he browsed the display and neatly collected what he wanted to try - it all looked delicious, and he had a sweet tooth, so three deserts alongside fish and meat skewers wasn't a bad thing - and its not like they needed or even required balanced nutrition in this game!

He hands over more then two thirds of his funds to the owner of this wonderful restaurant and walks away to enjoy his first meal in game. Taking a bite from his skewer, the meat parted perfectly between his teeth, the juices filled his mouth, and the smell of hot cooked meat filled his nose. Now, if only it tasted like anything, it would be an amazing meal. Disappointed, he tried the fish - perfectly flaky, with an interesting roe filling. However, the only thing he could taste was the salt that had been sprinkled over it as it grilled.

Lemon gelato - likewise without taste. creme brulee - the texture was spot on, as good as he'd ever had in a restauraunt. Yet even the burnt sugar layer on top tasted like... nothing.

Hanzoku could almost weep - at least the chocolate mousse tasted very faintly of chocolate.

It took a while to track down the traveling cook, but Wulfrin finally managed to figure out the best place to intercept him. In his frantic preparations he was making for the raid, Wulfrin had compiled quite the shopping list. Pretty much every item on the list was selected specifically to help him in grinding to get up to the frontlines faster and hopefully gather up some shiny new gear. He was planning to go out farming soon, so he needed every edge he could get. Normally he'd go to Ciela, but she was preoccupied with her own leveling to get to his backlog order, so someone well stocked was needed.

A short conversation later and Wulfrin had acquired all he needed and set out to continue his shopping trip.

Wasn't every day one stumbled across a straight up food cart. Not in Aincrad, anyway. The novelty wasn't lost on Oz, but what really attracted him was the blasé demeanor of the mobile shop's peddler. He didn't seem to care - about anything, really. And that was an attitude Oz could get behind.

"Bit of a list, but you seem to have the stock on-hand," Oz remarked as he handed the lad a form with the requested items. It was a bit of a smattering of everything, and none of it seemed particularly appealing, but Oz didn't care much about the taste anyway. So long as they performed as advertised, he'd be happy.

He was surprised to find a shop out in the wilds. Usually they were in cities, behind the walls of safe zones, and thus a hassle to get into. He wasn't looking for anything in particular -- but they had such a good stock, it would feel bad if he let the opportunity slip through his fingers. Knowing that he was going to go on a grinding spree, Pinball selected one of the desserts that he had for sale. It had a Prosperity buff attached to it. On the outskirts of Ellesmera, Acanthus stumbled into a strange sight. A traveling cook with a cart stocked to the brim with food. She had a hard time believing the selection that was available, although the descriptions left her a little underwhelmed. Tasteless, tasteless, mild. Each of the descriptions seemed like a scathing indictment of the meal itself. But Acanthis didn’t care. Food here still had a strange taste to it—so no taste at all would be fine with her. She approached the cart tentatively, col in hand and prepared to buy a few things for her journey to Little Eden.

Acanthus stumbled into Demian’s cart on her way to the shop in the morning. She was stunned; could shops move? She hadn’t considered that possibility. And if this one moved, how did it keep a consistent customer base? Although, she thought to herself, this is my second time here. Either the cook knows where to go, or they simply have enough customers all over Aincrad that they can afford to wander.

The timing was serendipitous. She was doing her best to close out the final leg of her crafting, and she needed all the help she could get. “I’ll need about two weeks of langue de chat. I’m trying to wrap up a large project, and this will be immensely helpful.” She dropped the col off and paused for a moment. “I’m so sorry not to leave a tip. I’m still trying to find my feet as a crafter, and I want to makes sure I have materials to complete my custom order. If you ever need any song, come by my shop and I’ll make a crystal for you, free of charge.”

It was almost a little crazy just how quickly Oz was running through the foods he'd picked up from Demian. It wasn't that he was gluttonous (although he was), it was simply the fact that they provided such a significant boon for his own crafts. Oz had been working tirelessly to line the shelves of his own shop with various brews, and the more quickly he ascended the ranks of his profession, the more consistently he would be able to do so.

"Few more of these, please," he stated as he eyed the addicting morsels. "And much thanks, they've been quite helpful."
