A fiddle of his frames and a check of his equipment, he confirms it. Through the walks of floor 22 and a flame of the warp gate tears him upward to the beaches of floor 24. Opening his map and drawing a nav upon it, he sets to offset the balance that would still need stricken.

Walking into the projected location, a moment of wait brings three soldiers into view. As expected and right on time. Raidou draws his weapon and spins it in his grasp, he was waiting. Seeing Purotekuta enter a parrying stance, obvious by how its eyes were looking to his weapon and not him directly. He had little to glean from this fight, their methods were flawed. As his hatred took hold, they lost vision entirely to the world around them. They would not yield to the chief for they could not see the path to take. "Come now, you've already lost this fight." Raidou spoke to them as if they could understand the gravity of what they faced. A light tap of his weapon against its shield beckons them to split. With a excelled swat of his blade he parries both with relative ease, the sparks and the grind of steel giving away each in halting advances.

The close upon him despite the warning, as their senses are drained even further. A sudden jerk and break of the ground beneath him implants the weapon through the attempted block. Ripping the planted sword off to one side allows a spray of red to flicker, the super heated bastard sword as an axe slams his shoulder. The glowing network that composed the swordsman exposed, and in mere seconds it closes up. They'd have no ability to beat the rate at which he recovered, the familiar playing its part. Juiblex was an ode to this strength, offering a further tip of the scales in his favor beside his own over inflated stats. The nomad almost seemed tired, perhaps the night before had still left him exhausted. With this, his patience was almost absent and in it missing was an honest dismissal of the potential that these goons could deal anything substantial.

Given the last attack to make it through it was rather obvious now that any real damage simply was not in the creature's capabilities. Somehow along his journey, he had vastly out scaled this fight, and as a result his composure shifts from overly defensive. Swatting the incoming weapons away with the back of his left hand, a high pitched whirl of Auric Sol before a wide sweep in gold cuts through both and knocks a sufficient amount of the HP remaining from their respective bars. His stamina falls on confirmation of blood taken. Another combined effort from both of them as they charge and aim for the heart in his chest, but the dismissal continues. A tap of his hand as it engulfs in blue, the nomad seemed undeterred or worried about their respective advances. "You're more than welcome to try..." He spoke to the pairing as he looked to Uso-Tsuki.

As if on queue the one with the shield rampages against the wanderer and slams a loosely held mace against his shoulder. The attack seems to have connected, but the damage simply disappears right after it's dealt. A tilt of Raidou's head and a glance at his bar confirms his suspicions as it rapidly refills back to almost full. As the other monster rushes harshly toward him and receives a blade in its body, its own momentum carrying the sword through its chest. It passes through like butter, while Raidou simply stares down the leader who was seeking shelter from his two goons. It seems as though he was a coward eager to let them fight and die in his favor. "Some leader you have, who isn't willing to even raise a finger in your defense." Raidou goads, knowing that they would not understand him but simply as an observation.

Unappeased they continue to assail him, another slash against his back rings true. The wound however instantly closes and offers it absolutely nothing to substantiate its attempts. Flipping his grip with the weapon charging in yellow. A sudden sweep shreds through the life they had. If they could not hear him, which was common given the cardinal held them on a string. They were dwindling, the one that was reckless despite its shield being the one sustaining the most. It seems it was more likely to attempt some aggression than honestly defend its companion. A shame that either of them if worked together properly might actually stand a chance. But they were not cohesive or operating as a unit, it appeared that despite direct control of the grand puppet master system they were not coded for unison but to simply occasionally supplement one another. This is where players shined over these AI.

After eating his last attack, his stamina still ever full and his HP virtually untouched. Lifting its shield up and prepping to block Raidou's next blow, his vision becomes suddenly fixated on the swordsman's weapon. A wave of the Auric Sol from left to right confirms it as its head turns, and then a sudden bash of the pommel forces it to shelter up. "Hmph, an interesting attempt but you need to work harder at not making it so obvious." Raidou comments, while Difenda rips toward him with a two handed sword. The blade halts in a closed fist that stops it dead, his arm seems solid as his robe flaps from the impact. There was power there given from the mob, but not enough to overcome the sheer system bestowed strength. Somewhere along the line, this dude had become so anime that he could catch a sword without looking first.

Tossing the weapon away with a flick of the wrist, Difenda begins to lose his stability and flail about attempting to keep his footing. A sudden tear of his weapon to one side collides with the side of Purotekuta's helmet and removes its head. It follows cleanly through as the headgear shatters, cutting through Difenda's now exposed chest. As its comrade falls, he does as well with a heavy thud in the sand of this beach. A tuft of sand in a jarring fluff, it lays squarely on its back as the weapon plants in the rough. Raidou's attention shifts away from the prone soldier to the still lingering in wait Uso-Tsuki, eager to see if it had any response to one of its soldiers falling. It seemed unfazed in its grizzled orcish appearance, still shaking its head and attempting to work its way around the landscape. It was still blind.

Spinning the bastard sword in his hand to point down, watching as the leader continued to bounce off of trees and stones desperately trying to path find. The coding was rather abysmal, he was no writer but normally when your blind you wouldn't try to keep walking. As Difenda reached for its last ditch effort, a coup de gras digs through its torso to the tan below. A sudden pop casts sand into a blur that conceals him from view. The boss was next, and while it rebound harmlessly off a tree before fumbling into a bush. His weapon charges bright yellow and swells with his stamina, the dust settles and with his left hand, he fixes his lenses. "Checkmate, no more room to run." the wanderer warns, just to give the thing a chance to defend itself before he let her rip. Raising slightly from the brush it stares back at him, eyes widen.

It's eye flickers in green, and notably, Raidou can feel the effect upon him. Opening his menu for a moment to check what it had wrought, it had negated his precision and drained out its effects. "Interesting, but two can play at that game." Raidou speaks as his left hand moves from his face to his robe, pulling out a small crystal and dropping it into the ground below with a thickened biff. It begins to ring, a dark color washes out in an echo that takes roots at its heels. Uso-Tsuki languishes and slows as the alteration takes hold. "Your advantage has been taken, no tricks here to offer you one. You would be wrong to assume that I would not prepare for it all." It was then when a few messages piqued his interests. Uso-Tsuki charges and blasts Raidou along the face with his nose still looking at the menu.

An eye peeled on his own status window shows the rather low percentage of HP taken away, as it quickly recovers to full. Wasted energy as Raidou finds the time to begin to transpose the replies. Given his now lowered statistics, he figured that letting it tire itself out for a while would be an easy way to preserve his own until it was sluggish. Opening a message to Setsuna, he triggers tracking on the girl. She looked to be working and seeking on floor 7, perhaps at the command of her division's captain. Sending her a quick response, giving her a bit of direction and a bit of inquiry before a reply rings back. The girl was apparently seeking some orange player in her own time between, a Valentina. Unsure what the motive was or why she was chosen, it must have been dire enough for Freyd to pull the trigger.

There was more happening within the message history when a couple more requests flood in from Simmone. Apparently, quite a few orders had been made recently and dragging the list from the chat to his own records some of them were potions. This beckoned either one of two potential participants, either Jackob's Ladder needed more equipment or perhaps The Tarot had made another large demand. It was a curiosity to be sure, Raidou thought intently at the list of wares required while using his now dormant offhand to continue to swat away Uso-Tsuki's failed advances. The boss was getting rather heated given its blade kept aiming for the swordsman who seemed rather uninterested and did not need to pay them that much attention to swat it away. This was clearly not FTK or Cerberus, something with much more of a punch behind its attacks that could actually beat his passive recovery.

Without care to the creature that was trying so desperately to make its anger matter, Uso-Tsuki was landing blow after blow against Raidou's empty palms. It does nothing more than scratch his skin, akin to that of a paper cut. Planning out what he'd need as he transposes a request back to Simmone for supplies, a few different flavors of herbs, and an assortment of glassware. The message sends off with a ring of his HUD, he moves to the next in sequence. The boss was beginning to tire out, boss being a loose term here. He would have been much better served to attack and defending his allies. There was an advantage in numbers, one that he squandered harshly. Raidou seemed rather uninterested, keeping an eye peeled to his health bar just as a formality. It had done virtually no damage, despite swinging heavily with both hands unending in its assault.

This goes on for what seems like ages, the leader of this little band of misfits aimed making carves at a player so drastically higher level then needed to be. Each swing seems slower then the last, each costing more than the price it gained in fruition. The wanderer continues to back hand and redirect the blade with an empty hand, the bastard sword in his clutches sat loosely over his shoulder. Between each strike he peruses the happenings and message log through his HUD, allowing the beast to tire itself out without his input. Heavy panting and a wipe of its mouth, a trickle of saliva drawn upon a silver plate covering. A bit of foam formed, it was starting to lose composure. Uso-Tsuki was starting to lose faith, as much as a cardinal driven entity could. The A.I. was on fire in its running of options, looking to some advantage it had yet to realize.

Ripping its weapon up with a burn of its muscles, Uso-Tsuki drops his blade down with fury. Between two fingers and a thumb Raidou catches and cradles the point. A tinge of blue light takes his arm, vaulting it back. The blade helps him lose his footing, hopping back twice in attempts to keep from falling prone. Raidou looks to the creature for but a moment with a placid dead pan expression. His face would read Is that all you've got? offering a quite taunt to it, he so close to broken. What he sees is a defeated looking warrior with a glare, eyeballing the dirt and the rocks. Combat was at a standstill, for the player was not acting while the boss was truly and utterly confused. Raidou's glance shifts back to his menu, drag and dropping another list from one side to the next: Doing his virtual book keeping.

Between the typing of his response, parrying blows off and further angering and weakening Uso-Tsuki. It was slowing down the message quite considerably, given he only had one free hand. It was staggered and rather difficult to get off given this sudden burst of aggro, a smell of desperation lingered in the air. "Give me a moment, your making this more difficult than it needs to be." Raidou offered putting more stock in the message than the boss.

A few more letters written and placed down as he does an almost conducting switch between the keyboard and the bosses weapon, an ode to how efficient he was at blocking incoming blows. It was as if the boss simply was not fast enough to make the point meet, each attack more sluggish than the last. A flare of blue taking his hand in compound with his martial arts, muscle memory alone allowing the flow. It was like gathering, he didn't need to directly intervene for his movements remembered what to do. Like every typical anime protag, he was untouchable by a form of plot armor, formed by a set of skills that he held that were stupidly OP. I mean come on, one damage always kinda makes things suck. Uso-Tsuki knew it, Raidou knew it, the writer knew it. May the dice gods smile upon this creature, for it was about to be a goat.

Sent away post-haste, Raidou's attentions shift to the blubbering fool that was holding him up. It was running out of energy completely and was majorly weakened as a result. Its defenses languished, as did all of its abilities. Spinning his weapon up still unconvinced that it ever posed any real threat to him. A tussle of his glasses with the transposed gone, Raidou lunges forward with his left hand clutching the weakened mob by the throat. "Now that everything settled, you so desperately wanted my attention?" The wanderer asked quizically as it gasped for air, what little it had remaining.
