The moment that Grimm's fist connected with the dragon, Chase quickly shifted from completely out of it and bored- if not annoyed- out of his mind to eager. He jumped up almost instantly and launched right at the stunned little shit, raising his blade in the air and holding it with both hands. Even though it didn't transform or wisps didn't appear to give it its full form back, he knew exactly what to do.

And so, he began to pummel the blade repeatedly right onto it, aiming to break as many bones as possible on the damn thing. "Die, you fucking target!", he screeched at it while kicking it and slamming it with the broken blade, seemingly a funny yet angered sight. It wasn't like he was doing this in full seriousness, but for crying out loud it had been a few minutes of watching the hatchling fly around and show off how good it could steer in the wind that the flames caused to spring up. "I told you that these quests were better with company.", he told Grimm with the same miffed expression and a twitching eye as he casually continued to bat it with his stone sword.

Seeing Chase so hyped up was an odd sight, he was normally fairly blank in expression and normally didn't have much outward expression when it came to these things. Ozwald came up to join Chase, launching the strongest attack he had at the stunned dragon, watching as his punch caused it to explode into blue crystals that combined with the ash and soot in the air creating a cascade of greys blues and blacks falling all around the battlefield. 

Bending down Ozwald picked up the ruby that dropped disappearing on contact and notifying him that he had managed to find the ninth and final gem. Ozwald was relieved beyond anything, that was the last one, the suspense was over, they would very soon be seeing exactly what the castle had to offer them. "You ready for the castle?" Ozwald asked Chase knowing full well that the man would be ready to take on anything.
