Instead of seeing a traditional Japanese store he was hit with the aroma of herbs and the sight of a more hectic potion brewing setup. Hearing the clatter and splooshing of someone hard at work attempting to make something the ronin turned to leave, disappointed he wasn't going to be able to buy some sweets he had been craving. "Oi! Where do you thin you're going?" a voice called from behind. Whirling around he saw a short blonde woman with smudges on her cheeks. "Oh! A fellow samurai I see. Interested in a potion or two? I'm not usually open open, but I'll make an exception for a fellow katana wielder!" she flexed her bicep at the end of her sentence. "Oh uh, no I don't think I really need..." his voice trailed off as he looked around the room. "Well actually, if you have anything to up my defense that would be nice. I'm going to try and find a few people to do some beginning quests with and I'd rather be safe than sorry. Also I see myself as more of a ronin, since I have no master to report to." "Hueh." the woman froze, realizing that she too didn't report to anyone other than herself really. She quickly recovered as she grabbed a bottle from under the counter, "Potato putawtoe. This should do the trick though! And it's on the house for now, just send your friends here." "Send my, I thought you said you weren't usually ope--" "Grand Opening Special! Now take the goods and go grind some levels! A small care basket of assorted teas and treats gathered from across Aincrad under his arm, he deposited them on the nearest counter before mindlessly filling out an order form. "Brought you a little something to brighten your day," he added, after a quick hello, not sure quite how awake the blonde samurai was. "There's tea from Fortaleza in here, guaranteed to perk you up. Just don't feed it to your familiar. It took me days to get Persi to stop clinging to the ceiling - literally." If Freyd hadn't dropped of the care package of various teas with his order she might have given him more of a hard time. Getting together large orders like this always made her exhausted, but a nice warm cup of tea gave her the energy she needed to power through. Once she finished the mug she placed it on the work table in front of her before she picked up the tray of bottles, making her way to the front of the shop to place it in what had now become the Whisper's designated pick up cubby. "A job well done. Persi gulped down the awaited good, possibly storing them for collection to her master. She was just as likely to have devoured the things, possibly making it very unwise for anything or anyone to stand in her was as she returned to her self-appointed lummox. The tiny shadow mongoose already had a reputation for decimating entire field bosses. Blinking her acknowledge satisfaction - probably the closest she ever offered as thanks - Freyd's sassy little familiar slunk through the outer door and vanished. Several hours later, Katoka would receive a simple message from her fellow captain. To: Katoka From: Freyd Got the nom-noms, after I managed to pry them away from Persi.
