[F21-PP] An aim for victory (Natures Treasure)

The wanderer awakens softly, to an early morning peeking through the windows of his taken room. Across his face a book that he'd fallen asleep reading. He slides to one side, fixing a pair of off kilter lenses. A few chores to take care of still ripe in his head, down the stairs with a few consumables in hand he was preparing. A flash of blue a trek through Tomioka, a small visit to Charko. A delivery made in an instant. Another bend of his shape, to floor 6 in its wilds. A trigger of a skill and a quick kill of Byakko, keeping the beast at bay and protecting the soil. That little sprout had held fast, still growing where it was planted. Two removed from a mental tally, as he slid open his menu with still weary eyes. An easy morning, and as he produced the roster of what was in the hall. "On to the third." He remarked beneath his breath, and another flash of blue repositions him again.

Through the narrow walks that composed the place, through the thickened yellow fog back to the nest of creatures. The familiar chattering of incisors strong enough to cut a man in two. A fiddle of the lenses on his nose to make sure they were secure, a tear clean of the yellow blade strapped behind his right shoulder. It draws a trail of gold as it screams open, a pivot around a corner to which his back was against. A spring with such speeds and a pounding anthem that riddles the place in an instant. It detonates like a bomb in the chamber, casting all targets within range to the sides with currents of electricity robbing them of the chance to flee. A spin of his steel up in defense, as they jerk and twitch from the blow. Raidou maintains that placid and calm demeanor, unfazed or concerned with what they could be possible. A colder head to prevail.

As soon as the wanderer acknowledges the spider's incapacitation, he moves for action drawing the steel into a vibrant burst of light. A wide swipe from left to right in a cross swing, it sheers clean through all within its circle. HP bars plummet one after another, leaving them on their last legs and unable to stand. A spin with experience and muscle memory, he was very much on autopilot. A routine is done so often that it was almost second nature by now, allowing the system control as he meticulously planned moves seconds ahead of schedule. A tick and a push of his lenses in a tiny press, a mirrored reflection claiming the view of his eyes Auric sol swells with more of his drastically large energy pool. He was dominating the field, top of his game but even still he felt inferior to what he desired to be.

As he ushers toward them, one recovers too soon. A surprising change of pace, as it rakes two long talons against his back in an instant. He follows through though, forcing at least most of the targets to explode into data. With a raining glass of blue, he quickly shifts and redirects his attention to the one that had gone away. It screeches in a way that would call in more, as expected they were a pack type monster. A whir of energy being poured into the steel in his right hand, he was ready for what would come to its aid. This was common for those slight little digits to produce a variety of effects, he was becoming used to odds being not absolute. Getting used to the mental math and his probability of success, and despite this small hiccup, he knew his chances were still golden. Like every sunrise before this one.

Raidou recovers 89 via Battle Healing

As new forces rushed to match him, Raidou shifts and dump more power within the confines of the chamber. It riddles and shakes, the ground beneath his strike forces it to tremble. A scattering of stone rains from above, being knocked loose from the shake. The newly joined recruits eat the blow and get tossed in all directions, like shrapnel out of the blast zone. Raking its claws across the wanderer's back as it aims to do at least something against him while it was being torn to pieces. A small trickle of damage, a tiny percentage of his total HP. They were trying to scale to him but poorly. The system still had its restrictions it seems, unable to do any real harm to him. Which was as expected, he was after all capped off. There was no more room to grow. As such it reflected in his stats, his power, and his undeniable strength.

Raidou recovers 89 via Battle Healing, Concentration CD [1/3]

A pivot on his heel, an intense glare at the one opponent that had happened through his defenses. Ripping his broadsword against the attack it had made, grinding the length of his steel down and kicking free the embedded talons. As soon as they are dislodged, Raidou turns the blade and rips it up clean. It draws through like butter, a spray of the red following in the metal's wake. While rose, Raidou pivots and draws a wide circle in the air. Upon his brow, not a single semblance of concern, worry. There was only a standard placid demeanor, held a dead pan to which proved this a chore. As those that struggle to stand, they are only allowed to look on as the wanderer dumps the point of his blade through the beast's back. A satisfying pop, a spray of glass like confetti, and a notification. It was dead, gone and forgotten.

Raidou recovers 89 via Battle Healing, Concentration CD [2/3]

Using the implanted blade as a pole, a slink up, and a clatter of his heels on a nearby wall as he vaults. A fluttering of his robe as an ode to Gaius, springing from the surface to a twist and a pound of his steel. Golden light fills the chamber, causing a smattering of parts to ricochet from the walls. They routinely explode, showing the death of more forces in an instant. Raidou slides to a halt, kneeled low with his weapon held high. It held aloft near his right shoulder, a trail of dust beneath his feet as he slows his sudden burst of speed. Without stop of the assault, the nomad's blade doesn't quit. A high pitch whir claims its surface, washing again in a persistent and unending fury. Like a dance, each step had another motion. The wanderer was practiced and careful, and it showed as muscle memory carried him from one motion to the other.

Raidou recovers 89 via Battle Healing, Concentration Refreshed

A drain of energies and another riddling punch through all within his grasp. One of the beasts only barely manage out of the point of impact, rushing clean with a solid leap latching it to the walls. The others he passes through clean, a burned trail beneath his feet. Like a drop of the hammer as his weapon falls, a judgment made in a column of bright light in a flare. Seared beneath the strike, burned and left at the brink of death. They fritter and falter, falling from their feet and becoming lax. Weakened and unable to provide a counter, they jerk and wiggle. The spiders couldn't stand to his might, but that was always the intention. His robe fluttering aggressively, he places a finger to his brow and corrects the lenses as shade cast over his frame covers his features. "All according to plan." Raidou quips with the repair.

With a sudden jump and twist airborne, they struggled to stand, and Raidou performs one quick swipe as he spins. His robe clung to him like a blanket as he descends, a parade of electricity scatters out in a static tearing away chunks of HP as it passes. A given skill, a lingering effect from FTK holds the field in his favor. The cleave draws deep, cutting a long horizontal groove in the floor as the weapon easily slices through it. A clack of his heels as he finds purchase to a solid floor. A shift sends up dust as he slides his feet holding them down and shuffling them. A martial arts staple, keeping your feet planted. Without warning another screeching of his weapon without a word spoken, held to this moment as memory alone helped him flow through the motions. Washed in yellow light, Raidou's weapon becomes a lantern.

Concentration CD [1/3]

Another echo of the walls that surround them all, Raidou held fast and continued an onslaught. The field becomes blind in more yellow light, cleaving sections of health left in an instant. The spiders can do nothing more than watch on as he burns two to ash, littering his inventory with prompts. These little prompts being resources: A means to an end. He accepts their sacrifice, a second bird to the stone he was tossing. The primary focus? To keep their numbers from growing too large and becoming far too much of a threat. Concentration CD [2/3]

Its durability was a far cry from the paltry one he'd wielded at the start of this road. Recalling the weapon he'd used in defense of ATP breaking after only a few swings, which drew into question just how absurd his strength must be. Couple that with his mobility and he was a force to be reckoned with. But it did not inflate his head, finding there was always more to learn. He was nothing more than a mirror of those around him, gaining strength from the little imparted knowledge they shared in their defiance against their cage. How many had he reworked effects from into his method? The number was staggering, every quirk and every efficiency was honed by those he'd met along the way. But there was a hunger to improve even more, where his stats would not he'd study the other. Routine and rhythm that came from the player response, not from a set of skills.

Concentration Refreshed, Raidou recovers 89 via Battle Healing

Like a bomb in a box, another discharge of the king's electricity as it's forced out of the fibers or his steel. Raidou was unsure of its origin, but he was slowly learning how to harness it. Ever since killing the final boss of scents, he'd found it more capable of being wielded. Every so often his speed would leap into obtuse levels, a scattering of the stuff down the length of his blade that once swung would cascade out. It really did a number, was an interesting twist and welcome addition to his abilities but he could hardly predict its presence. No, it seemed to come at random, but he knew how to make good on it when it did. This instance was no different, as it rocks the health they had left, causing one to explode and dump items on the floor like a gift bag at a party.

Raidou recovers 89 via Battle Healing

A final smite racks the place as if right on queue as the wanderer's stamina bar begins to pulsate. It was warning him to a low percentage of capacity, but he was already all too aware of its value diminishing. A flourish of his steel to its scabbard behind his right shoulder, a sweep to his right beforehand. A spin of it finds it placed away, he'd need a breather. A few steps away, leaving behind a chamber upheaved and damaged from the affair but it would regrow. To his sanctuary on this floor, away from prying eyes and hostiles to halt his recovery. Through the film of yellow, in a narrow crack in the wall. A multitude of glimmering sections eying him in response as if they were calling to him to harvest them. Earlier a reference to two birds was made, and here was no different. Passive recovery mixed with a motive, Raidou was nothing if not efficient.

OOC Passive EN Regen {Relaxed} [1/2]

An usher into the chamber, a twist of his wrist slides Juiblex into the cracks of a large oval stone. Throughout this stone were lines drawn in a vibrant orange, some metal lay laden beneath and within its circumference. It shutters and shakes as the slime creature worms throughout its confines, pouring into the cracks and expanding inside. It pops and is reduced to variable rubble, to which the wanderer takes to a kneel and begins to sift through. Tossing away a few with no notable richness in it, being nothing more than simple rock. Others however to which he starts to combine in a pile, show lines of color in amber drawn through them. They would need refining but were clean enough to start. A small collection worth keeping held, Raidou tosses from his inventory a brown sack. Adding them into it, the ores placed away for travel back.

Moving on to more within the chamber, to the crag wall where glimmers trailed throughout its face. Gemstones for artisans. Juiblex finds his leg and disappears back out of view, its purpose served. Raidou begins to pry and chisel out what he could from the wall. It pops and causes a cascade of pebbles as he worms free the first of many: a large uncut ruby, in his palm. Dropping it loosely to the rough stone floor beneath him, it survives the drop meaning it was solid. On to the next in sequence, he begins to create more and more pockmarks on the wall as he dislodges a few more different types of unrefined jewels. After a fair portion had been claimed, Raidou leans down, and like the ore before it, they are added to a sack and a pull of a string draws it closed. A ring of his HUD let him know it was time to continue the culling.

Back out from wince he came, through the narrow walkways that composed most of floor 21. The glimmering prisms on the walls offering him small amounts of light, to which he draws the pillar fragment down the length of his steel. It offers much brighter light to which to see. A faint chattering to bolstered numbers, which proved that they were still filled with a sense that they could overpower players. They only commune like this when they found their ranks large enough to take others on. A scream of his steel in the blink of an eye, a scattering of static that washed clean in a crack of thunder. They scatter from the impact that forces them to fly off in what appeared like random directions. The bangs that followed were the carcass of still living but dazed creatures, slamming into walls and stone that hung from the ceiling.

Before they could settle from the prior blow, Raidou moves quickly to the next in rhythmic sequence. A high pitch chime of Auric Sol, daubed in a gilt shade that burns brightly under the effects of the pillar fragment. It racks the chamber with the sound of the impact, the force alone causing the very place to shutter from the strength expended. An outcry of anguish from them all, winded from the blows that seemed to not end. Raidou pressed his advantage, righting himself in an instant as soon as the carried art fizzled out. With a spin of his grip and peel of the weapon into a defensive posture, he shores up his bulwark. The swordsman was portrayed as a well-practiced form of absolution, everything playing in a way that eluded his experience. Once his stance solidifies he offers a soft exhale, an intense stare that scanned his opponents.

He senses no ability to threaten him present, Raidou shifts quickly between stances and allows another scream of the bastard sword. It swaps from an ever-increasing call to an echoing boom. The sound reverberates off the walls, a smattering of pebbles bounces against the rough stone floor beneath them all. The place shook with every swing, an ode to the bestowed power of a max level player. An arc of bisque energy paraded through the air, causing almost to burn away and create a vacuum in its wake as it sheered through it. It passed through those struck like butter, forcing what little HP they had left to quickly expire, while others narrowly escaped the guillotine for but one more moment. The wanderer held fast, twists, and quickly shoots back to the aegis of his weapon held aloft. A diagonal rod of steel, light and maneuverable formed with his left arm to create a pseudo shield.

A twist of the weapon with no hope of stopping his unceasing assault upon them. Placing the blade in conjecture with an outstretched left arm, held perpendicular. The point right on target. It washes with energy, as he dumps more of his pool into the sword making it burn. A lunge forward casts a cloud of dust behind his heels, a pivot airborne rips the edge behind him. His robe fluttering aggressively from the pressure, he slams the steel down in the nexus of them all. Electricity detonates from the central point, forking out and piercing through all within its reach. Two explode into fractiles, leaving nothing behind but the sounds of their death. As he passes through, now knelt low he affirms his heel beneath him. A quick shift of his head about to see what was left. "One." Raidou remarks at the count, knowing full well that it was almost over.

It passes through clean and connects with the ground beneath it. The beast explodes, and Raidou looks to the walls around him while the last of notifications pool through his menu. Those that would come to attack and defend this newly taken ground have since retreated, he had done what he had set out to do. A chore complete. A raise to the flats of his feet, Raidou rips his steel off to his right side before returning it to its hearth. Behind his shoulder, to the flutter of a red robe as he walked. His task was done, and there was more to attend to before the day was through. Perhaps he'd find time to read.
