Description: There is not much to say for Samiel’s looks as he is kind of average except for the obvious youthfulness he seems to have especially when he shaves. When he does shave though a few have said in the past that he is kind of cute. Samiel has around medium length hair and as for Samiel’s eyes they are mainly green with some brown towards the iris which are behind a pair of glasses.

 

Clothing Style: He can be a bit picky in terms of what he wears but he doesn’t seem to care much for big name brands. One of his favorite outfits involves a gray shirt under a green zip up hoodie jacket so long as the weather allows and black cargo pants.

 

Characteristics

 

Strengths:

 

~ Christian- Samiel being a Christian has helped him in multiple ways and done a lot for him in his life. Some things that have come from being saved and going along his Christian walk with the Lord are his patience, honesty, selflessness and the desire to help others in addition to various other changes with himself and in his life. In addition to these things Samiel will try and spread the Gospel when he is able. Finally Samiel knows there are places to improve as well. (In terms of RP this can come up in various ways such as being caring/kind hearted, forgiving, slower to anger/patience, being able to potentially remain calmer during situation and also being less bothered by the prospect of death. However like the other Strengths/Flaws this is not something that may always come up).

 

~ Leader- In terms of leadership Samiel was in a program in high school to help develop his leadership skills and has also developed them over time on his own. When in a leadership position by his choice he has found he enjoys it. While Samiel knows he isn’t the best leader as there can always be someone better he does the best he can. (In terms of RP this can potentially come into play if he ever leads a party or starts a Guild as it can go into why he might know how to handle things to a certain degree based on past experience and training).

 

~ Determined- When Samiel wants something he finds himself more motivated and tries harder to obtain or do what that thing is. This isn’t however always helpful or work towards some things Samiel would like. (In terms of RP this can be an explanation to why he seems more driven to do certain things).

 

Flaws:

 

~ Blunt- While Samiel can be honest he sometimes puts things in the wrong wording and is unintentionally blunt. However unintentional it may be he will apologize for it if it hurt someone or Samiel thinks it might of upon realizing what was just said. Samiel works to improve on this aspect of himself and as such the instances of being blunt he thinks are decreasing. (In RP this can pop up randomly in dialogue leading to Samiel potentially trying to apologize to someone later).

 

~ Bad Conversationalist- Samiel isn’t sure if he can really hold conversations that well at times with people he doesn’t know well or doesn’t have as much in common with. In addition to this Samiel has trouble at times picking up on sarcasm, when people are joking around and body language. However despite this Samiel works to improve at such and still tries when it comes to conversing with others as well as pick up on sarcasm and joking as well as body language which is improving somewhat over time. (In RP this and his  into explaining some potential weird dialogue or ways he interacts with others and showing how he may not be the greatest Socially).

 

~ Trust Issues- Samiel is a bit weird with trusting people with various aspects of things whether it be about himself or something else. As such he has varying amounts in which trusts others. Gaining trust for others at times could take some time and potentially harder to regain if the trust is broken. (In RP this may never come up but can potentially lead to him being a bit shielded towards others until they are around enough/he gets to know them better).

 

Personality:

 

Samiel is relatively easy enough to get along with though he may not necessarily be one to start up conversations. While he can be a bit blunt at times it is something he is working on among other things but regardless people seem to be ok with him. He enjoys his free time and likes to read and come up with different creative things be it a story idea or an idea for a game even. In addition to this he also enjoys talking to his friends, playing games, listening to music and various other things on a computer. While he doesn’t seem to play too much in terms of MMO games he decided he would try out the first full dive virtual reality game for the Nervegear.

 

Background

 

Samiel Lucien is from a middle class family in Ohio that seemed to get along okay. He has two older step-brothers who have moved out and a little half brother who lives with their Mom, Samiel’s Step Dad, and himself of which he has a decent relationship with. While he may still live at home at the age of 29 rent free he still helps out here and there with things and does what he is currently able to job wise working part time. Samiel was however in College at one point in time but due to financial problems he had to stop attending. While not currently attending College however he does want to go back at some point and has it on his sort of “To-Do” list. When not working Samiel will spend a good amount of time at a computer doing something or another whether it be playing games, listening to music, watching videos or what have you. Now that isn’t to say he doesn’t do other things or get out as he also enjoys time out with the friends he has around him, attending Church and doing various things away from a computer. In addition Samiel will at times come up with different creative ideas be it for a story, a game or something else.

 

While Samiel normally didn’t play MMOs that much when SAO came around he thought it would be interesting to try it with the Nervegear and might be an entertaining experience. At such using money from his part time job Samiel used connections he had made over the years online and managed to get the Nervegear along with SAO. However when he started playing it didn’t take all too long to find out he was trapped in the game. As bothersome as this was he did what he could to stay positive and after praying he set out on his way in an attempt to see what he could do to get out of the game. Finally he thought that if he is able it might be nice to try and help others where he can as well and possibly make a Guild based off of a group from one of his stories he had come up with in the past. While this was on his mind in addition to it he also wondered if maybe he might find the kind of girl he was looking to have a relationship with but thought it might be better to not get his hopes necessarily too high on such.
