Leveling Up:

  • Unique Enhancement Identification: +5 EXP (on top of base EXP gains)

Junk Sale:
Appraisers can sell off Uncommon or higher quality items for Col. Any item sold this way will be destroyed. The Col listed below is the amount received for each item sale. Appraisers will pass the Col received to the player that offered them the items sold and usually keep an agreed amount of the sale profits as their own.

Identifying Items:
Appraisers can identify items dropped from monsters or found in treasure chests. Identifying an item will determine what enhancements it possesses. In order to identify it, Appraisers spend a set amount of Col depending on the item's tier and quality. Any Col used for identification is destroyed, like items when junk selling them. After the cost is paid, Appraisers will roll for every unidentified slot on the item, one at a time.

The quality of the item determines the maximum amount of enhancements that can be identified, just as regular item quality functions:

  • Uncommon: 1 slot
  • Rare: 2 slots
  • Perfect: 3 slots
  • Demonic: 4 slots

If an item's identified enhancement would result in an illegal item (following the standard enhancement rules), the Appraiser must re-roll the LD (Loot Die) and make note of all rolls made when submitting the item for evaluation.

Having finished helping out Zakariah and having a bag full of some loot that she had gotten from beating up those goblins that had tricked her with that fake treasure chest, Astreya was looking around for somewhere to actually get them identified.  "Let's see..." she spoke, looking around a bit at a few places as she went.  There were a few fancy looking stores and she shifted past them, looking to one named Bellerophon's Wares.  

It looked newly opened and she wondered if she could help them out a little bit.  After all, she was just starting out in getting herself up to the Front Lines, so if someone was starting their own merchant shop, she felt like they were kindred spirits!

Stepping inside, she glanced around, noting the prices listed up on the wall for some of the services.  "Two appraisals a day?  Well that just means I get to come back," the girl spoke to herself cheerfully as she moved up to the counter, setting the two trinkets down that she had gained from the goblins, as well as 704 Col.  "Hey, just need some things identified, please!" she called cheerfully.

As she was waiting for her order to be taken for the identification of the items, Astreya was looking at some of the other items that were for sale as well and her eye was drawn to the 'Immolation Potions.'  She gave a small 'hum' under her breath as she read over the description and as she did so, her eyes lit up in curiosity.  "Oh these are super cool," she spoke, before she grabbed one, then paused and grabbed a second, adding them to the two Trinkets.  "I'm gonna grab two of these too, okay?" she asked, adding another 600 Col onto the pile she was passing over.

It seemed like just yesterday that she opened her shop, and already, she could hear the chimes telling her that someone had come in. She came around and looked at the items that she was given and smiled warmly, "Of course!" When the girl also took a pair of potions, this just seemed to warm Dynasty's heart even more. "I hope those work out for you! Give me just a bit, and I'll message you when the identifications are done!" After she paid the prices for the pair of potions and the two identifications, she was happy with the result, sending a message to @Astreya, hoping that she would be happy as well.

Astreya had been on her way back to the town after dealing with that mirror version of herself, when she got the message in from the shop  owner, Dynasty.  "Oh, cool!" she spoke to herself.  She had been planning on just relaxing a bit, but she figured she might as well stop in and pick up her stuff.

A moment later, the door opened to Bellerophon's Wares, and Astreya popped her head in, grinning a bit as she raised her hand in a wave.  "Hey!  That was fast!  Thank you so much!" the girl called out as she came closer to the counter and retrieved her two trinkets.  "Actually, if you aren't too busy..." she spoke, retrieving a weapon and consumable that were still unidentified.  "Could I get these ones done too?" she asked with a wide grin, the girl hoping that the owner here was willing to do so for her- if not, that was no big deal either!

Astreya had been fast to come and get her identified items, and she smiled when she was handed two more items to identify. "Of course! I'll get those done quickly. I'll send you another message, though it shouldn't take too long." Dynasty took the items and the col before she went to her back room to get to work. Almost two hours later she had sent the payment that was required by the banker to the bank before she looked at the weapon and salve that had been identified. Both were ready to go, and she sent a message to @Astreya, letting her know that the items were good to be picked up.

Astreya gave a small breath as she leaned back in her seat, before the alert popped up on her HUD that her items were ready.  She hopped up from her chair then, beginning to make her way back toward the shop.  It hadn't been that long, but this time she hadn't bothered to go out and about on an adventure, and instead was just looking to relax a bit while they were identified.  She was willing to see just what she could get from this- she had a good feeling about that sword.

She arrived a moment later, opening the door to the shop and stepping inside.  "Hey!  Just here to pick up my order!" she called with a wave, stepping forward into the room as she saw the items ready for her.  "Ooooh this looks awesome!" she cheered as she lifted the weapon to inspect it.  "Thank you!" the girl called.
