Must be used to preserve an item's Demonic status when fusing it with another piece of equipment. Three Demonic Shards allows a Perfect item to be upgraded to a Demonic item directly; its extra enhancement slot may be rolled for using unique Appraiser identification rules or be selected from one of the standard enhancements available to its item type.
