The woman blinked at the man's words to her- mentioning that she would have done the same had the roles been reversed.  She wasn't... entirely sure if that was true.  The young woman would certainly defend those who needed it, but killing someone else was... she wasn't sure if she could actually commit to doing that.  She swallowed slightly, before she gave a small nod at him.  She didn't exactly commit to the idea of killing another person, but at the same point, she would at least... agree that she would have defended him in the event that their roles were reversed.

 

There was no response to her smile upon his features- just a cold, blank expression that he wore.  She could tell that this was not a mask that he was wearing- that he wasn't really hiding anything from her... this was just how he was.  The goofy, silly figure that he revealed now and then... may have been the mask.  Perhaps one to hide his visage from himself- or perhaps merely to try and convince himself that there was more to him than the expressionless one that he wore right now.  

He once more chose to speak with Koko, rather than her, and Astreya moved along with him, not bothering to try and say anything more to him at this point.  There wasn't a gulf between them, but there was some hesitation on Astreya's end, when it came to Freyd.  He was far deeper than she had first anticipated, and while she was very much interested in learning more about him, talking to him to find out some of his other interesting responses to situations... she did need some time alone to process all of it.  She imagined once she had some time to sit and think things through a bit, she would be more willing to talk with him.

However, as she was about to try again, to see if she could say something more to get through to him... the man spoke to her.  He was committed to his ideal, although 'at any cost' actually... somewhat frightened her.  There was a certainty in those words that let her know that he wasn't just saying it to be cool, or to try and show off- he was dead serious.  He would do whatever it took to get everyone out of this game.

Again, she nodded, but said little else as she moved along with him, the woman's mind whirring like an engine as she tried to put together everything she knew about Freyd... and to try to come to terms with what he'd done, what he'd said, and how to just take them.  

But after they'd reached where Koko's mother was waiting, she exhaled slowly, looking to Koko and her mother before she let a happy smile spread across her features for a quiet moment.  However, the young woman blinked as the sudden friend request lit up her screen.  Unable to help a smile, she reached up, tapping 'yes' on this...but as she turned to look at Freyd, to thank him for it, she noted he was already gone.  "I'll...see you around, Freyd," she spoke quietly, to the empty air.
