 Aerial Ace
Cost: 10 SP
Active: Free Action
Effect: Stacks with Combat Skill [Charge]. As a free action, change the player's stance from [Standard] to [Aerial]. While in [Aerial] stance, on a [Sword Art]'s execution, the following changes are applied until the start of the next turn:

  • DMG is increased by (Player's Tier).
  • EN cost of the Sword Art performed is increased by (Sword Art Rank),
  • EVA is decreased by (Sword Art Rank),
  • MIT is decreased by (2 * Sword Art Rank * Player's Tier).

Description: 
With experience comes tinkering, and with tinkering comes innovation. Through rigorous training, Macradon had found a way for him to enhance his sword arts by adding momentum to his attacks by executing them mid-air. Aerial strikes hinders his basic defensive dexterity while airbound, but provides more than enough power in return. The Aerial Ace style always has the sword in one hand when initiating a Sword Art to aide the user in nimbleness to jump into the air, while in the air the user presumes the sword art stance and activates their Sword Art.

► Bloody Slaughter
Cost: 10 SP
Passive
Effect: The user gains a stack of Bloody Slaughter for every 4 loot-minimum mobs killed. The user must land the killing blow against these mobs to be considered towards gaining Bloody Slaughter stacks. 

  • Each stack grants its user [+1 DMG, +50 max HP] up to a cap of 5.
  • When the user has at least one stack of Bloody Slaughter, their capacity to heal and be healed both, through any source, will be halved.
  • Enemies slain towards Bloody Slaughter will not drop loot until the user has maxed out their stacks of Bloody Slaughter in a thread.

Description:
Crozeph's weird appetite took a dark turn as he tried to pursue an improvement for his kendo skills. Instead of finding something or someone to give him an idea ( or simply training with Baldur or Ariel), he instead realized that he is what he eats. As he kills enemies, the corpses never shatters into fragments and instead consumed by Crozeph and as the buffs stack, the sclera in his left eye darkens.

Clarifications:

  • Healing done to the user by Battle Healing is affected by Bloody Slaughter.
  • Healing done by the user through both skills and items is affected by Bloody Slaughter.
  • Max HP raised by Bloody Slaughter will not boost Base HP; the user cannot heal from Bloody Slaughter stacks.

► Ill Omen in Red
Cost: 10 SP
Passive
Restriction: Parry must be owned and equipped, usable only if the player is wearing only cloth armor
Effect: Players with this skill ignore imposed mitigation enhancement caps on armor skills, the armor still must follow normal mitigation enhancement slot caps (I.E. Cloth Armor cannot have more then one on a single piece). All missed attacks against the player are now flavored as a "Parry" given you choose to stand your ground and make the opponent miss. 

Description: A good swordsman knows that a sword can be as effective at protecting yourself as any shield can be, blocking and redirecting blows as an active form of defense. True guard, light of step and movement are the foundations of all swordplay. Where the best offense is not giving your opponent the opportunity to make a rebuttal, leave no opening and strike when the moment arises. Through difficulty only a select few can muster the strength to wield such a defensive measure, as its tax on the frame is almost unmatched. Simply only those with the most intense will can handle the burden.

► Kaiso no Waza: Meikyo Shisui
Cost: 10 SP
Passive
Requirements: Katana Rank 5, Concentration

Effect:
- The effects of « Concentration » [Extra Skill] are now a passive but must still be equipped (this still consumes an available extra skill slot as normal)
- While wielding a katana, the user can choose to store the usage of ST-B when a natural CD9+ has been rolled (removing the restriction of the roll having to be made the previous attack).
- This stored ST-B can be used when an attack would be made, as if the natural CD was 9+ on the previous attack. 
- The original restriction of 'the sword art used the previous turn is not ST-B' remains unchanged.

Description: 
Through constant training and steeling of the mind the wielder has attained martial prowess that finds expression in Kaiso no Waza: Meikyo Shisui. A refined battle experience into a custom skill that allows a creative and more fluid use of the most powerful abilities in ones arsenal. The ebb and flow of battle becomes a finely honed edge and way of life.

► Lady Midnight

Requirements: Rank 5 [Hiding], [Vanish] Mod
Effect: The user may use [Vanish] as a free action.
Description: 
Legend has said there are three that preside over the shadows. The Master of Shadows, The Lord of Darkness, and Lady Midnight. Lady Midnight directly ties the user to the shadows, and allows for the user to gather and manipulate shadows at will, however; this more affects the ethereal realm than that of the physical.

Cost: 10 SP
Passive [Addon]
Requirements: Disguise [Extra] Skill (must be active/equipped)
Limitation: User cannot benefit from, or inflict, any returned damage enhancements or item effects based on an attackers dice roll [Thorns, Immolation, Aura].  This restriction does not affect the Parry skill or its mods/addons.
Effect: Disguise effects become a constant, passive, critical hits made against you only occur on a BD: 10, or BD:9-10 if the attacker has focus. Additional narrative effects as noted below.

Description: 
Gleaned from extensive study of the Gemini, the Player learns to modify his own appearance and grant limited autonomy to their shadow, imbuing it with instruction and enabling it to appear as a duplicate that can act independently.  This shade can also divide itself into multiple further copies.  While not able to attack in any way, these duplicitous shadows serve as ongoing distractions during combat and carry potential for a broad variety of clandestine purposes. Narratively, the player can change his or her appearance at will: including voice, gender, gear worn and held, height and build. In addition, this can conceal the users cursor from view.

Cooldown: Special
Requirements: Concentration (Obtained), Meditation (Obtained)
Effect: 

  • On a successful hit, the user may apply the effects of a TECH sword art that they have unlocked to their attack.
  • Alternatively, it can provide a small +2 EN for 3 turns recovery effect (Cooldown: 3 turns). This effect cannot stack with Hyperactive.
  • Each effect the user has access to has its own cooldown that is tracked individually (Cooldown: 5 turns)
  • Effects from this skill are tied to an alternative source that accompanies the player (eg. A companion/partner entity or pet/familiar). This partner or companion is defined when the skill is taken; if not narratively present, the effects from this skill automatically defaults to the player.
  • This effect cannot be used to trigger TECH sword art-based conditions (eg. in Custom Sword Arts).
  • [Meditation] is named [Reflection] for the user.

Description:
The user has allied themselves with a pawn of Cardinal. Wherever they go, it follows, and provides a rudimentary service to supplement as their aid. What utility it provides in its absence is imparted upon its user until its return.

► Supernatural Fury
Cost: 10 SP
Howl Addon (Passive)
Restriction: Usable only if the player is wearing an item with Fireproof
Effect: Whenever the user of this skill uses a skill to generate hatred on a target, all Burn Damage Effects present on the user (I.E. Burn, Flame Aura [Non-Critical], Flame Thorns [Critical Effect], Immolation Potion, Hellstorm), Apply to those target/targets as if a successful attack (inbound/outbound) has been made in activation range to trigger the effects. All Damage dealt in this way acts in the way it normally would, as well as the ailments applied. However they bypass any Fire Immunity/Antidote/probiotic effects present on applicable targets.
Description:
The heat that comes off of a phoenix burns hot enough to set the wind ablaze, those that are foolish enough to draw a beat of its wings will be seen to ash. This Custom Skill allows the user to harness the grace of a phoenix to which all will burn within its embrace.

Requirements: Any Rank 5 Weapon Skill, Quick Change Skill
Effect: Choose two Weapon types. Declare one as Primary and one as Secondary. The Secondary Weapon now shares all Weapon Skill Ranks, Mods, and Shifts as the Primary Weapon. If Quick Change is used to switch between the two weapons types, Quick Change's effective Cooldown is reduced by one turn.
Description: 
Adaptability is a crucial skill in combat. Those experienced in battle understand that sometimes, a single weapon doesn't cut it.

[x6] Balatro's Deception | AOE (6 + 2 * Target EN) | RECHARGE | NICHE | RELOAD | LENGTHEN | DENIAL | CORRUPTION | A powerful sword art that strikes multiple targets at once, usable once every 5 turns. On a successful strike, applies [Denial] and [Corruption] and on the enemy. [Denial] is a DoT ailment that also applies a disable condition, dealing [10 * Player Tier] unmitigated Shock damage for 2 turns. In addition, the first activated ability on the target will fail. [Corruption] is a DoT ailment that deals [12 * Player Tier] unmitigated Blight damage for 2 turns and halves all healing effects on the inflicted target. If there are any existing damage over time effects present on the target, they are refreshed and their duration is increased by 1 turn on a successful strike. The duration increase from this effect does not stack. 

Description:
What is a trickster other than one who breaches boundaries? A fool, or a jester? You can draw its card out of the game, but ever the wildcard it will remain. If it only takes one to know one, then thus is its secret: a hidden gambit, a marginal exploit, a con out of code or a rumor made real. When the hand of fate is dealt to its receiver, the player — ever the deceiver — brings the art of the Balatro to life.

RECHARGE | +x4 | This sword art has a cooldown: 5 turns
NICHE (Trickster) | +x1 | Must have Surprise Attack (Trickster) equipped.
RELOAD | x-6 | Successful attacks refreshes all actively applied DoT effects.
LENGTHEN | -x4 | All DoT effects refreshed by this sword art have a duration of +1. Applicable only once per DoT effect.
DENIAL | -x6 | This DoT effect applies a one-off disable during its duration that causes the first activated ability on the target to fail. This effect is reactivated on refresh. In addition, while this DoT is present the target sustains 10 * Tier Shock Damage over 2 turns
CORRUPTION | -x3 | This DoT effect applies a debuff effect that halves all healing received by the target in addition to dealing 12 * Tier blight damage over 2 turns.

[x16] Beckon the Void | AOE SHATTER | MENACE | FRACTURE | NICHE (Shades of Gemini) | (16 + 2 * targets EN) | A multi-target sword art that can only be used if the sword art used the previous turn had rolled a natural CD9+. When performing an AoE attack, use only the first roll. Successful attacks made using this sword art generate an additional +1 Hatred and apply or refresh a stack of [Shatter] to that enemy for 3 turns. [Shatter] is a debuff that can stack up to a cap of 3, taking immediate effect on the attack it was applied on. Each stack of [Shatter] removes -20 MIT from an enemy, down to 0, if it has MIT. When calculating damage, double all present mitigation reductions before damage calculation (Shatter, Break, etc.)

Description:
Each creature casts its semblance onto the world; a penumbral portal granting back door access to their soul for those who know how to access it. With the strongest resolve, and affinity to the amorphous void, one can draw upon such powers to reach within and turn any darkness found inside out, literally.  Enhancing the shadow manipulation effects of the Shades of the Gemini custom skill, wielding this sword art temporarily transforms a target's own shadow into a tangible threat, turning it upon its caster. Feasting on hate and spiritual bile, the shadow enhances the player's assault by manifesting and turning the darkest aspects of the target's nature against them, like a serpent devouring its own tail.

Description:
To some a shield, to others heavy metal plating or some mix between the two. But there are a finite few who prefer to use their weapon and a steady arm to block incoming blows. Using a weighty blade, and exploiting the opponent's own mass to one's advantage. A blade is only as good as its wielder, likewise removal of a blade can leave the opposition defenseless and exposed. Strike fast the steel of your foes, break the tool of war and send them reeling. This is a Grand Mass Parry.
