Username: Bismuth

Real Name: Choufu(last) Jousho(first)

Age: 18 -> 20

Gender: Male

Height: 5'10"

Background:

Jousho grew up in a hard life, his mother died during child birth, and his father left him on the steps of an orphanage soon after. His entire childhood Jousho just bounced from group home to group home, never really finding a true place to call home, watching as all of the kids around him found their own place in the world. All of that changed though, when a kind old woman came to the orphanage looking for someone to share her home with after her son had moved away. This woman took Jousho in and raised him like he was her very own son, giving him what he had always wanted his entire life, a family. The loneliness of Jousho's past led him to seek the approval of everyone around him, and by the time he had entered his first year of high school Juosho was known by everyone, someone who partied all night and all day, and found the approval that he had so desperately desired in people who were drunk all hours of the night and people who treated him and everyone else like followers more than friends.

It took Jousho two years to realize that this kind of life wasn't the kind of life that he wanted to live, to realize that those people he thought were his friends, only had him around because he would do anything they said. Jousho cut ties with those people in his last year of high school, he remembered that once he had had aspirations for university, but after the way he threw away his education for parties, he would never be able to achieve that life he wanted to live. Then he heard about the nervegear, a virtual reality helmet, one that would let him be whoever he wanted to be, and the game called sword art online that would be coming with it. Juosho instantly knew that he needed this, an escape, he had spent his life being someone that everyone wanted him to be, but here, he could be the person that he wanted himself to be.

The day finally came, Sword art Online was released, and Juosho was one of the first people to hop onto the server. Juosho had never done much in the way of videogames, so this was a change of pace for him, it took him hours to get a hang of everything that was required for him to play the game. Finally though Jousho thought, that he had everything under control, and decided to log out, finding that the button had disappeared, and that there was no way to press the button. Not even a full minute past when Juosho found himself being teleported into the beginner villages main plaza, and was told that if he died here, he would die in real life, and that the only way out was to beat this game. It has now been two years since then, Juosho has watched countless people go into battle, and meet their end, he has seen countless people never return from the battlefield. Juosho though, shied away from that, he wasn't crazy, the frontlines were dangerous and he knew he wouldn't make it far, he spent the last two years in the beginner village, getting himself comfortable with the system until he thought he could work his way up to the frontlines, with that, Juosho had finally found himself a place in the world.

Virtues:

Compassionate: Juosho coming from a hard early childhood has made him very open to other people's feelings. Juosho has a keen eye for the way that people are feeling emotionally, and is quick to offer a helping hand in their times of need. Juosho doesn't want to see any one in pain as much as he was when he was young.

Friendly: Spending so much time at parties and day drinking wasn't terrible for Juosho, it let him learn people skills, that he wasn't able to hone in the group homes that he had grown up in. Juosho has a natural leaning towards good, he likes to help people, and he likes to be friends with people. Juosho always goes out of his way to make sure that people feel fully comfortable around him. Juosho likes people more than he normally lets on.

Honest: Juosho has never been a liar, and lying, to him, is something that should never be done. Juosho has always hated the little white lies that everyone had told him growing up, and couldn't understand why people don't just tell the truth. Though it has gotten him into trouble multiple times with his friends and lady lovers, at heart Juosho just doesn't what people to get hurt by lies.

Flaws:

Carefree: Juosho, didn't get to live much of a life when he was younger, so now he tries to experience it all. Juosho now does what he wants when he wants, without a lot of regard for timing or other people. He doesn't mean to hurt people when he does this, he just wants to live the life he feels was taken from him.

Soft Hearted: Some people may say that helping everyone isn't a flaw. But in the way that Juosho does it it is, Juosho is unable to resist helping someone in need, whether that leads to his own detriment or not. Juosho is prone to pitying those that are hurting, and will do everything he can to help them, whether it hurts himself, or is a trap.

Stubborn: When Juosho sets his mind to something he does it, no questions asked. He doesn't let other people talk him out of the things that he has set his mind to, whether they are trying to help him or not. This stubbornness has led to Juosho hurting himself on more than one occasion.

Relationships:

Legend: Great - Good - Indifferent - Not Good - Bad

Vigilon: He seemed like a nice enough lad, he did fine work on Bismuth's blade, but he didn't really get to know him well enough in that encounter to have much of an opinion.

Astreya: A higher level player who Helped Bis get his forager profession, She has been the only person so far that Bismuth has been able to be truly real with.

Freyd: Freyd may have been off putting at first, but he seems to just like being helpful, and after getting past that they got along well enough, he helped Bismuth get his cooking profession

Koga: He kissed Bismuth, that's all there is to say really, he seemed like a pretty quite guy, and Bismuth didn't really talk to him, but the kiss was fantastic

NIGHT: A Higher level player who helped him on his first lessons quest, he didn't interact with her a lot, but she seemed like a nice enough person.

Nari: Quite the enigma Nari has so far  seemed to be completely incompetent at talking to other people, but in combat she was nothing but pure confidence, very different from himself. She was really sweet though, and bismuth feels as though they reached a sort of connection towards the end of the quest.
