War upon war was waged in the abyss of pain before it was ultimately bequeathed to the lowliest of peasants, a man named Makenzie. Quickly corrupted by its power, he began a lone siege of the kingdom. Having seized power, war after war was waged, all sourced from the newly-crowned king’s lust for strength. Generations of kings continued his conquest: Yamato, Carrie, Budva, Logan, Bread, and many others were led astray by its perverting power. Each king fought on the front-line of their bloodshed. Finally, another king, blessed by the gods, confronted the pebble with the mighty weapon Demon’s Bane, and felled the depraved regent. For centuries it lay dormant in the vaults, only being unearthed when the kingdom was on death’s door. The finest warrior would be tasked with exclusively wielding both weapons. But treachery! The thief Cocainus had obtained the holy weapon! Confronting him, the pebble’s wielder slew him in a single strike, but not before his foe could reciprocate. And thus, Mardoza, Guardian of the Pebble, fell to his knees, and passed from this world, leaving behind the mighty weapon. For he knew that one day, its power would be required once more. Oji 0 Posted February 1, 2022 Author #2 Share Posted February 1, 2022 (edited) Oji adorned his apron quietly, the small fire going in his shop as he rubbed his hands together. He had waited a long time for this, and it was finally time for him to get to work in his shop. Adorning some glasses, the older gentlemen went to work, his hands steady as he chose the manual mode of crafting, doing it by hand. His first two attempts did not go as well as he planned, the first one almost looking good, but fell apart in his hands. His second one didn't even get past the first stage before it crumbled into nothing but pixels. A bit distraught from this, he took in a deep breath and steadied himself. He decided to take a break from pocket watches- his item of choice- and decided to try something new. He worked with the material and it slowly changed into an item that he could use, and it seemed to be a rare enchant. He held up the bronze tweezers into the light above, a small smile on his face. It was a small step, but he knew it would only go up from here. Oji 0 Posted February 1, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted February 1, 2022 (edited) Oji lit the fire in his shop once more, admiring the painting he stole from the 26th floor and made his way to his workshop. He wanted to try a new craft with his tweezers, and maybe try some jewelry for the first time. His first attempt went okay, but it was not sellable. He did his best to try and take it apart but it broke in his hands. The second attempt he tried a fancy chain on it, but the chain snapped and the necklace fell to the ground, shattering into pixels. "Well that isn't good." He muttered as he went back to his stack of materials, attempting to try and make a ring. That too failed, the ring far too small for the gem he tried to put in, and the gem shattered as he tried to force it in. He sighed and tried one final time, attempting a necklace again. It was pretty good, but the chain broke as he attempted to wear it. This was a lot harder than he first thought. Oji 0 Posted February 2, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted February 2, 2022 (edited) Oji took his final sip of coffee for the morning as he sat down at his desk. Today was going to be a good day, he could feel it. He took in a deep breath and got started on his daily crafts. As he finished his first item, it ended up being a good item, and it gained him enough experience to level up once more, and he gained another crafting slot. He smiled in pride as he continued his work, the level up giving him the determination he needed to finish his crafts in record time, and all of them were sellable, which felt amazing As Oji looked at the 5 items, he had remembered that he heard about a thing he could do, Item Fusion. He decided to give it a try. He took the first two uncommon items he had, a very nice braided necklace and a small item holster, and they fused into a rare necklace. He looked over and saw what he made, a seemingly ordinary pebble, he wasn't sure how he had made that, and fused the two items together, and a dark golden hue enveloped the items, and it soon became an item of such rarity, such awesome power, that he was in disbelief. He sprang back from his chair, it clattering to the floor beneath him as the item hummed with power "My.... god..." is all he could utter, as the famed Mithril Pebble of Pig Smiting was encased in a necklace. He knew he would have to sell this for a good price, and he placed it gently into its casing. The other two items, both rings, he looked at with some pride. He decided to sell the one he wouldn't use, the red ring, and put it next to the necklace, then took the blue and green ring for himself, feeling that it would help him in the future Daily Craft 1 - ID: 203154 CD: 9 [Uncommon Item - +6 EXP <<RANK UP, RANK 3>>] Daily Craft 2 - ID: 203156 CD: 8 [Uncommon Item - +6 EXP] Daily Craft 3 - ID: 203157 CD: 12 [Perfect Item - +11 EXP] Daily Craft 4 - ID: 203158 CD: 11 [Rare Item - +8 EXP] House Craft - ID: 203160 CD: 9 [Uncommon Item - +6 EXP] FUSING ID: 203154 and ID: 203156 TO RARE ITEM - ID: 203163 FUSING ID: 203158 AND ID: 203163 TO PERFECT ITEM - ID: 203165 Total EXP Gain: 37 Grand EXP Total: 72 Items: Spoiler Name: The Mithril Pebble of Pig Smiting Profession: Artisan Rank: 2 Roll ID: 203165 Roll Result: -- Item Type: Trinket Tier: 2 Quality: Perfect Enchantments: ACC 1, KEEN 2 Post Link: Here Description: Long ago, this pebble was forged in the fiery pits of Tartarus, by the grand blacksmith of Lucifer himself in a time long before the world began. Oji 0 Posted February 4, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted February 4, 2022 (edited) As Oji had taken the weekend off, he decided to get back to his work. He needed to get some items to sell in his shop. On his agenda was pocket watches today, but it did not go as planned. After his first attempt failed, he made a fancy looking watch pretty successfully, and it seemed grand. he put it to the side and continued to try, but no matter what he seemed to do, it wasn't working out the way he had desired. One by one his materials vanished, unable to be used. Maybe he had a bad batch of materials? Could materials disappear or go "bad" if not used soon enough? He wasn't sure and he'd have to do his homework on them. But for now, he was happy with what he had built, and he had gained another level so he hoped crafting would get easier tomorrow. Oji 0 Posted February 5, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted February 5, 2022 (edited) As Oji continued crafting on another day, he realized that he had started to develop a pattern. His crafts would come out severely well, or within shambles. But the shambles were becoming less and less, which he devised was a good thing. He still had his failures, and sometimes they were downright awful, which was the hardest part. However, he enjoyed the pattern as it helped to spark his creativity. He was proud of the few items he made from this day's batch, and he proudly put each of them within his display case. He had them nice and organized by Tier and Type of item, seeing as he only had two of the three options available, his stock was a tad small and a bit specific, but his items were of a good quality, and he couldn't be happier. Oji 0 Posted October 11, 2023 Author #7 Share Posted October 11, 2023 (edited) Oji opened up the side door that connected his home and his own little artisan shop on the 22nd floor. It has been some time since he had come into his shop, having put off stocking his shelves to "another day." He decided to roll up his sleeves and get back to work. He started his work, hit small hammer chiseling away and his eyes checking and rechecking every jewel and piece of metal he had as materials, trying to find the best quality ones to sell. He wiped a small bead of sweat from his brow. He had a few good successes, but he had far more attempts fail. He frowned a bit, but decided to look past it. He set the new items to their places in his shop, and wiped away the accumulating dust from his stock of items. One day he would open his doors again, and when he did he hoped people would come and buy his wares. He had to make a quick buck somehow.
