background: Uehara is to be a lonely boy when it came to the irl stuff, he would be homeschooled and just spend time in his room. The only person who would communicate with him would be of course his parents but even then he would just mumble his words with them. It would take some time for him to open to people, his parent were actually quite worried about it. Uehara was actually pretty talkative back then with them but after his grandmother passed away he gained this shy nature of his, Uehara and his grandmother were really closed when she was alive. They were close due to his grandmother always telling him stories about old timed sword fighting, This made Uehara get interested in learning how to wield a blade and be like those people.

One day Uehara came across this game called SAO and since the name had sword in it, well it made him catch his full attention. So Uehara decided to buy the game with a nervegear but he wanted to get both things at the same time so he decided to wait until it was the right day to get both things. Uehara had some experience with the katana by the time so he wanted to see and learn how other people used their sword skills, he wanted to learn how to wield different type of swords. Now he wouldn't be able to use those other swords in real life due to his small body. After some time passed by he finally got the game with a nervegear, so he get on his bed, put the nervegear on and said the words that would logged him in the game.

Uehara would do his best to help people out in small raids and dungeons, He did it because his grandma would always tell him that if he had the chance to help someone that he must do his best to help. If it came to bosses though, He would always say no due to him thinking he is not strong enough for those fights yet. He lived his life in SAO pretty peacefully due though, He would fight weak enemies for XP and he would help people if he knew that he could take on the challenge. He of course didn't have a house but he would always sleep in a motel due to him wanting to feel safe if he was sleeping.

Virtues

Honesty: Uehara is honest with mostly everyone, after all he got this behavior from his grandmother teachings when he was younger. Uehara doesn't like to lie when it comes to him having a choice in this so if it usually a good thing to do he will always tell the truth. He doesn't want to let his grandma down by lying. Uehara will sometimes be to honest and tell the person that he is talking to a lot of information about their question like the location on where it happened and the probably the time if he was keeping an eye on it.

Fairness: Uehara likes to keep things fair so if he gets better loot than someone else he will probably hand his loot to someone. If Uehara feels like the person did more of the work he will just give the person all of the loot that was in the boss or dungeon and sometimes he will even give the person a side of col if needed. This is due to him not wanting the person to think of him as a selfish person and letting them due all the work. He wants to keep everything fair and if it comes to him giving the other person loot then so be it.

Courage: Uehara always has courage to learn new ways how to use his sword skills in different ways. He will always listen to the person who is teaching him the sword skills and not space off or interrupt the person. He will do whatever it takes to learn the sword skill that is getting taught to him but take another player's life, He just wants to help the other people in the frontlines to get out of this death game and finally go back to see his family again.

Flaws

Honesty: Uehara is too honest to the point if he does have to lie he will stutter his words out giving away the lie, He will sometimes even blur out the truth if the pressure is getting to him. He didn't like lying due to him technically ignoring his grandma wishes. He wants to be the boy that his grandma wants him to be, It wouldn't also be wise to tell Uehara some secrets due to him most likely getting pressured into telling the truth which is an easy thing to do to Uehara.

Jealousy: If Uehara does make a friend or even find his special someone, He will be jealous very easily if someone is trying to take them away from Uehara. Uehara will try to one up the person if the person is clearly better than him at the thing that is impressing his friend or partner. If he is jealous for long enough he will probably try to make everything a competition between him and the person who he is jealous of. He will do it in Boss rooms, dungeons or even a food eating contest.

shy: Uehara is usually quiet when it comes to meeting new people so it will be tough for him to start a conversation with people. This shy part started when his grandmother passed away and Uehara will not speak up with new people even if it comes to him asking for help. He will always stay quiet even if he is hungry or thirsty, He will always rely on his friend or partner to speak for him if they are around but if they aren't around he will just mumbled and stutter his response to the person who he is talking to.
