Background: 

Another day, another hour. Time Slows down when school is out. Graduation has happened and its felt like decades, but really it has only been a few years. The roommate he had befriended in college had taken his life right before graduation, why did he have to leave him alone again? He knew he wasn’t an idiot, he had always had a natural talent with computer science. To pass the time and get money, he would offer to fix computers and make computers for clients. It wasn’t what he had intended to be doing after getting a Masters in Computer Science, but it would get him by. In his free time, he had heard of a game through a system called “Full Dive” which he grew fascinated with. Maybe, just maybe, this could be his escape from the system. 

 

Picking up his phone, it was nearly 2 in the afternoon. Levi didn’t have any clients for the day, so he decided giving his old man a call might help alleviate his loneliness. When Teddy answered the phone, Levi’s spirit mysteriously lifted. “Hey Ted, I have heard of this new gaming system called “Full Dive”, it allows great mobility though the controls would be nothing like you are used to.” The conversation was pretty one sided, and maybe Teddy wasn’t catching everything that Levi was throwing, but it was still great to speak to someone, anyone. Not but a few days later, Levi would set up “Full Dive” and enter a new reality. 

 

 

Virtues:

Multitasker: Levi was exceptionally gifted at multitasking. He could spend hours doing anything in combination with his work. He would write papers on his laptop while taking apart a desktop computer and putting it back together again. His mind had a very fast processing speed. 

Tech-savy: People have weird quirks, but Levi’s stands out. When Computer Science became a degree opportunity, Levi was among the first to join. He learned how to apply his knowledge on technology at a rapid pace, often outpacing the teacher in class. He was on track for being something great.

Moral: Levi has a strict moral compass, though his choice of words often make people doubt this. He is disciplined and strict with himself and how he acts toward others, besides his words. In fact, his only friend from college, a fellow computer science major, was astounded by his strict discipline toward his moral code. 

 

Flaws:

Workaholic: Levi doesn’t have time to socialize, he demands excellence in everything that he does. Often in school, Levi would take apart computers and repair them while eating or doing his homework. Besides the time he spent with his one friend from college, Levi would spend more time working on computers than leaving his apartment and socializing.

Cusser: Levi swears almost every other sentence, enough so that many are turned away from him. He learned many bad words through the foster-care system, much of which was directed toward him originally. Bad habits die hard, and this one is likely gonna stick for a while. 

Paranoid: Surprisingly, Levi is paranoid. The experiences he had of his many different parents are full of abuse and neglect. Levi suspects everyone who speaks to him is looking for something. Although this has mostly been the case, he has found an exception in Teddy. Levi has yet to determine if that is due to Teddy’s own self-absorbed desires or genuine care for Levi.
