Background:
A simple man with a normal upbringing, heralding from Northern Europe. Two parents, undisclosed and yet noted as ordinary. The boy turned man excelled heavily in his studies, finding no issue in progressing or applying himself. Lancaster found an inkling to flame, and by extension an affinity for all things dealing in that flame. Was incarcerated at the age of 12 for burning down a chemistry lab after an 'experiment' went awry. Proper procedures were assumed not followed, yet this was never proven.

Utilizing his intelligence, he found himself in a line of work developing fuels. However, his peers are unnerved around him, always seeming to be 'up to something'. This is exasperated by the fact that he doesn't seem to have concern for his safety, more interested in seeing how things tick. Coming across the nerve gear out of curiosity, and finding himself in Aincrad was simple. The choice to enter was simple. He just wants to watch the whole world burn.

Virtues
Ambitious - Always interested in seeing how things tick. Lancaster doesn't hesitate if something intrigues him. Without warning, it isn't uncommon to see him try something new.
Inquisitive - Playing to his ambitious trait, Lancaster sees the world in an interesting light. Everything you see is composed of something, and Lancaster is eager to see what that is. Let's just say, dissecting that frog was the best day of his life.
Intelligent - Lancaster was a prodigy, learning came easy for him. It doesn't matter the topic, either it is a language, science, or math. Lancaster has zero issue cataloging it to memory, but simple topics bore him.

Flaws
Short Tempered - His mind is a cog, and it hyper focuses on what he desires to understand. Moving into the path of that pursuit of knowledge is likely to receive an immediate backlash. He knows what he wants, and what he wants can be frightening.
Self Absorbed - Typically, Lancaster finds something to fixate on and ignores everything else. Unless it's important to him, it's likely he will outright ignore it unless it can impede his self defined progress. This extends into where and what he will be willing to do, so don't expect for him to be dependable.
Cautious - The man is studied and extremely intelligent, so being careful comes with the territory. Lancaster sees anything as a potential obstacle, and will spend an exorbitant amount of time and planning removing that obstacle. Stay out of his way, or face the flames of his anger.
