The battle around her had started to fade. Nikki was focused on the boss, everything else was under control now, and just the Guardian had to be handled. As planned the plant woman focused in on Nikki again, coming in for another large swing. Nikki smiled as she prepared herself to block again, bending her knees and holding her shield above her. Moments later the axe came crashing down onto her again. The sound of steel on steel screamed out across the battlefield a second time, and for a moment Nikki was sure that it sounded like a train wreck. This recent impact seemed to be less severe, only using a normal amount of force. The blue haired tank couldn't help but smile as she brushed off the attack and moved in for her own retaliation.

Nikki's attack had been a new move that she had come up with on the spot. She had spun around using the momentum from her block to twist her around faster. As she completed her rotation she brought her spear up swinging it like a sword into the Guardians midsection. The tip of the weapon cut easily through the boss's soft skin, spilling more green blood, spraying it in an almost beautiful yet grotesque arch that seconds later pixelated and disappeared. As she came to a stop she continued to smile, brining the base of her spear into the ground in an epic taunt directed towards the boss. She knew that it could no longer hurt her, she was in her groove, her tank groove, and nothing could shake it.

From his vantage point, Saix could see that the battle was moving well into the mid stage. They had already managed to almost bring down the pods, and with the Raid Party having hit their stride, they were managing some impressive damage. Peeling off from the side, he focused his attention on one of the two remaining pods and readied his weapon, darting in quick and thrusting.

Seldentar spins around, quickly taking view of the battle. Players were in bad shape after that last attack, but only one pod was left up. With his pod gone, he could continue his violent assault on the boss. He reaches into his pocket, pulling out a small red vial, and flipping it into the air at his squad mate Zero.

"Here ya go pal, I think you could use this."

He doesn't wait for a response, leaping forward as fast as his sprint skill would allow. He charges straight at the boss, his black sword held in his hand as he runs. He slashes multiple times, reducing the bosses remaining hit points significantly.

Zero watched as the Pods had fallen leaving one other left. He glanced at the other players as they assisted the squad trying to defeat the last of the Pods, and looked it with a deadly glare. "Let's hurry so we can assist with the boss, don't want to get left behind..." He glanced at Seldentar as he tossed him a potion and smirked catching it. "Thanks, needed this." He looked at the bottle and quickly drank its contents. He slightly crouched down and narrowed his eyes focusing on the Pod, its nauseous fumes eating away at his HP simply angering him more. "Alright... Just need one more hard hit and done... Don't fail me now Behemoth, Ziz and Leviathan..." He muttered charging at the Pod without warning or hesitation, all he could see was his target.

Daeron watched as the scenery of battle played out. Between the players fighting the seed pods, by the time Daeron had realized that it was "his time to shine" he seized the moment. Daeron held his sepulcher's blade with a firm grip. Daeron darted forward at Zero's command. He knew that if every player played their cards right, this boss really was done for. As Daeron was dragging his blade across the ground, he saw the yellow sparks rising. As he neared the guardian, he brought his weapon upwards in a vertical motion.

Daeron seemed to have been thinking this entire move in his head because as he snapped back into the REAL boss he ran forth at the boss only allowing him to miss realistically.

Thus far the Guardian had been distracted by the incomparable tank for the last few turns, engaged in a rather epic slugfest between the two. However, this time, Seldentar's hard hitting blow had managed to overwhelm Nikki's accumulated hate, and with a wicked hiss, the giant plant woman turned on Seldentar bringing the huge axe around over her shoulder, before thrashing the swordsman with all her might.

Vandal snarled at his health, less then pleased at how low it was. Taking only a moment, he reached into his belt pouch and retrieved one of the stupid health potions he had bought. He had almost died taking on the Berserker, he had no intention of dying now. Chugging down the bitter potion, he let his health refill partially, before deciding that he was ready for action. Grinning a big nasty grin, Vandal got himself a good grip on his sword and charged in, his heavy armor jingling as he approached the boss, shoving his way through the crowd that had surrounded it, and striking hard with a powerful double handed chop. His big heavy sword could split iron on a good swing, and it tore into the plant like flesh with little resistance, the HP Recovering Enhancement working with the potion to instantly put him back at full health. He may have been the lowest level one here, but he was far from being in danger.

I stand back slightly as the whole group of boss fighters take on the boss and the seed pods quite easily.Wow... we can actually do this without any deaths hopefully. I smile slightly at that thought, hoping to not see more people die then there already have been. I look up at the Boss and charge it, hoping to help out in the fight.

She had taken another huge hit to her HP, this monster's AOE attacks were no joke! Reaching into her inventory, she removed one of the Health Potions that Saix had annoyed her into buying, suddenly feeling a little glad he was so anal about things, and brought the glass vial to her lips. She made a face. She did not like the taste, not at all. It reminded her a little of Red Bull. With her HP back up to acceptable levels, she peered at the boss, looking for a weakness to exploit. She really needed to level up some more, she was doing some great damage, but if she got hit she folded like a wet paper bag. She envied Nikki, who could just stand there no matter how furious the attacks were.

She needed to make an opening to attack. Considering how many people were wailing away at the boss, she figured she could use 'that'. It was her ace in the hole and she had wanted to keep it hidden, but it would be better for her to make sure nobody died... HP was getting pretty low in the battle, from a lot of people, 9Lives included. So she decided she would reveal her secret attack, because she wanted the boss dead, so none of her guildmates would die. Activating her <> skill, she reached down and pulled a non-existent smoke bomb from her belt. This was all just part of the animation. She threw the bomb at the monster's face, the bright pop and smoke making the big plant lady close her eyes.

Ayane disappeared in a flash, appearing behind the boss with her blade ready. The ninja blade thrust deep into her back, angled up, like she was piercing the heart, dealing a huge blow that did double damage.

Shanok saw the boss' health drop alot from the last player's attack. As he was told, he charged toward the boss after that player had been done with her attack. He swung his katana from left to right, hitting the boss and making it lose a decent amount of its remaining HP. After hitting the boss, Shanok quickly backed up seeing that his HP was really low. "Can anybody spare me an HP potion? I'm running low here" he said while watching the boss so he could defend against a potential attack.

9Lives watched his health bar diminish as the pods slowly ate away at his HP. It invigorated him to ride so close to a very real death in an imaginary world. With the Pods dead and the group attacking the Boss, he took a moment to drink a health potion. There was no sense in dying in this battle when they had it almost beaten. With a portion of his health bar returned, 9Lives charged in sheathing his blade and charging his sword skill. Reaching the proper range He activated Dashing forward slashing upwards cleaving viciously through the toppled Boss's face. Getting to notification for a critical hit, He rolled backwards taking a defensive position.

I took a look at the boss' health and noticed it coming close to the red zone. I looked at all the teams to check everyones health. Shanok, Drop back and take it easy on your health. I don't need you to die on me! I yelled at Shanok.

I watched the boss' patterns to look for any difference in patterns. I saw no difference in the patterns and started moving towards the boss. Cover me Saix! I yelled as I started my attack.

I ran and as soon as I jumped and swung, the boss moved to a new target, leaving me flying into a wall.

I hate this game. I say as I stroll back to Saix.

By this point the battle was in full swing. All available fighters were now attacking the boss directly, and her health was dropping fast. in her moment of weakness she lashed out with a vicious AOE attack. large thorned vines whipped out in all directions attacking everyone in various ways. Some people where whipped sharply, others were smashed. Nikki had actually been constricted by her vine. Its thick tendril wrapped around her, tightly squeezing with all of its might. The thorny appendage was just not strong enough however and moments later released her, writhing away. At Nikki's feet were the broken tips of the thorns that had tried to penetrate her armor. She had survived another attack with out harm.

Her attention now turned to her squad mates. many of them had dipped to dangerous levels of health. everything was getting so close now. If they pushed they could finish it, defeat this boss and move on. it was so close. Direction was needed and she was in the right place to do it.

She turned now, looking over the groups. "Ruri, Haine attack the left side, her armor is weak there. Miaki right up the front, Hold the guardians focus. Yunah stay tight in behind Miaki." She turned now staring up at the massive green woman. "Saix how are we looking from over there?" she asked hoping for more input, to help guide the front of the fight. "Zero, Sel, Daeron and Light hit the right side and make it hard." She pivoted while speaking, moving to the left then charging right up the center towards the boss.

She had been perfect, coming in hard and fast. Each step was on cue, each movement was deliberate, everything went off exactly as it had in her mind. Before anyone could react Nikki was right in front of the boss and in a half of a moment she thrust her spear upwards into the Guardians midsection. The spear penetrated deep through the Boss's midriff, passing all the way through and right out the other side. Nikki held the spear at its lowest part, and her hand was tight against the monsters mid section. Surprisingly its skin felt soft, and delicate, but this was no time to admire its skin.

Nikki pressed her shield up into the boss, holding it tight to the boss. Her goal now was to slow it down, remain in contact with the boss and keep it from moving any further, so she was not about to pull the spear free and grant it that ability to move. "I've got her, c'mon n finish this off guys." she yelled holding onto her spear tightly.

"AOE ATTACK LOOK OUT!" Miaki alerted everyone listening as a wave of thorns shot out from the skin of the Guardian. Rolling behind Nikki her armor absorbed the entire attack. Everything was going according to plan. But things were getting a little too close for some of the fighters. "Everyone low on heath pull back! We're almost done dont chance it!" Looking back at all the combatants with their health bars floating over them as Miaki focused on them. Some were taking it harder than others.

Almost there. It was almost over. Miaki was getting more and more trilled with anticipation as he watched the health bar deplete faster and faster from the constant pounding dealt to her. Nikki took charge once again and issued out another set of orders before thrusting her spear deep inside the Guardian. "You got it Nikki!" He shouted before looking to Yunah beside him. "Stay close sweetheart. Stay right behind me. Ready?" Miaki gave the young green haired girl a smile then faced the guardian with a new found determination

Miaki could hear the intense music of the boss fight playing in his ears as he ran forward with Yunah in close behind. "I always did hate gardening work." Told Yunah as they past Nikki who was switching out with him to attack. His blade was charging up with a bright silver light as he released a sword skill and slashed the Guardian across the torso.
