Background: A young man from a well-endowed family in New York, Vincent seems like he has everything in life. He is halfway done with his college years, and it seems that Medical School is on the horizon, and the young man was on the road to success.

But sometimes, success wan't enough. You see, he was missing something very important in his life: adventure. Because he was too focused on doing what was expected of him by his family, he was deprived of the typical life of a teenager. He never had the fun, wild nights, and more importantly, he never had the warmth of a girl beside him.

When his uncle, who was working at Sydney but was in a meeting at Tokyo at the time, notified him of an interesting game called SAO and the state-of-the-art NerveGear, he knew he had to play that game. Taking a break from his research duties during the summer, he flew from New York to Tokyo in a heartbeat. Staying at Four Seasons Hotel at Tokyo, he put on his newly bought NerveGear and dived for the first time...

Appearance: Vincent is naturally lean, and he keeps his shape by running daily. He isn't the most muscular man around, mainly because he finds lifting weights to be a bit of a drag. He has jet black hair that he takes care of and styles painstakingly every morning; this habit, which formed because of the pressure to look "preppy" from his wealthy parents and their neighbors, stuck with him throughout his life. In real life, his favorite brand is Vineyard Vines, and he always wears Sperry's boat shoes. He also likes wearing windbreakers, A LOT. When his father has meetings in Miami, and Vincent is asked to come, he often looks awkward in the Sunshine State because he would be the only one wearing a Ralph Lauren windbreaker in 90 degree weather.

In the game, Vincent's, or should I say Angeel's, starting outfit is a long-sleeved shirt underneath with a jet black windbreaker on the outside. Angeel also has light-colored khakis, and his signature, light brown boat shoes. Although it can seldom be seen because the windbreaker was covering it, Angeel's leather belt is colored dark brown.

  [*:j66lfjsl]Besides his favorite subjects of Calculus and Chemistry, Vincent enjoys reading about History, particularly European History, very much. Maybe this was why he wants to play as a swordsman or a warrior in this game.
  [*:j66lfjsl]Vincent's favorite drink is Starbucks Tira Misu Latte, and his favorite food was Maine Lobster with butter, true to his northeastern home.
  [*:j66lfjsl]Vincent's two favorite weather conditions were rain and snow. He doesn't know why. He finds rain to be surprisingly comforting, and he finds snow to be very, very magical. It's a bit surprising, considering he grew up in the Northeastern United States.
  [*:j66lfjsl]A dark secret that Vincent has is that he has OCD, or obsessive compulsive disorder. Although his parents offered him treatment, Vincent wanted to battle it out by himself. Although the disorder has weakened somewhat, Vincent is still VERY, VERY much a neat freak and a perfectionist. This will manifest in him trying to obtain every loot, and/or trying to kill every enemy in a floor.

» Virtues:

. Passion Vincent is a very passionate individual. He is often teased by both family and friends for being too focused in his studies. Sometimes his parents feel guilty because they think that it's because of them that the young man was working so hard in school. That may be true, but only partly true. Vincent actually loves studying and working hard. Maybe because it was always been expected of him. Maybe because he had a natural affinity for academics. Or maybe ... he was destined to be great someday. In any case, Vincent loves what he does and he looks forward to becoming a doctor. However, his only regret was not having many adventures in his teenage life.

. Resilience A common trait that his professors always talked about that Vincent possessed was resilience. Vincent's constant problem in school was not being consistent. He would start strong, but after a while, his grades would start to plateau and then fall. Although Vincent is trying to cure this bad habit of his, his professors are always impressed at how he always seems to pull off saving his grades by the end of a semester, through sheer willpower and resilience.

. Optimistic Vincent is a very optimistic fellow. Practically raised in a bubble known as Long Island, Vincent has very childish views of other people. He always looks at the positive side of people, and never seems to see the bad side of them. Being raised a religious man, he also believes that everything will work out in the end, and so tries to be as happy as possible. This doesn't mean him smiling like a weirdo all the time. This just means he is happy on the inside, with a serious expression, of course. He was a wealthy and fancy young man with good breeding, after all.

. Egotistical- Characteristic of those having an inflated idea of their own importance. Boastful, pompous. Vincent, having been raised by a wealthy family, has a sense of entitlement, and he also has a belief that he was destined for something greater. He does not look down on people, as most would think he does. He just thinks he's more important than most people.

. Overambitious- Having a strong excessive desire for success or achievement. Even when he was a little kid, Vincent always wanted to win. No matter how small of a game he played with his brother or his cousins, he always strived to win or be the best. This can hinder his team, and so Vincent tries his best to control himself when working on a team, but even then, he wants to be the best in a group of people, even when they are comrades.

. Perfectionist- A propensity for being displeased with anything that is not perfect or does not meet extremely high standards. This is a manifestation of Vincent's Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Although it used to be A LOT worse, through faith and sheer determination to overcome this challenge, Vincent has very much controlled this "beast" inside of him, although he still sometimes has the compulsion to fix things. In the game, Vincent will try to obtain every loot possible, and/or try to defeat as many enemies or all the enemies in a given floor.
