Crim 0 Posted February 5, 2013 #21 Share Posted February 5, 2013 I like the GM Rare item idea but when it comes to Col, maybe we could do the same also? simple math? I could set up a caculator in Excel for like player level and another factor
Namine 0 Posted February 5, 2013 #22 Share Posted February 5, 2013 Col can be calculated simply with a chart: Monster Level = Col/Party Member Number. As long as we have a base Col for monsters by level. Put bosses on a separate field entirely as far as col is concerned and bam. Col distribution! Figuring out what's fair? Now that's an entirely different ballgame.
Nevina 0 Posted February 5, 2013 #23 Share Posted February 5, 2013 One thing I'm worried about is for those who put their skill points into non-battle things. What benefit will they have as a more support-type role since they're going to be worse in battle as a result? It's hard to envision an entire economy XD
Crim 0 Posted February 5, 2013 #24 Share Posted February 5, 2013 I'm working on a list now for your idea as well as another idea i have in mind ;) but im not ganna tell just yet as i wanna show it. Will make more sense. Edit: Nevina, everyone will start off with a basic amount of Col to get them started, the amount will be relitive enough to get any support class going but almost every user should have a basic weapon/armor skill since even the crafters fight in the front lines for good crafting loot drops ;)

Mythee 0 Posted February 7, 2013 #26 Share Posted February 7, 2013 Looks good, that would work! But dividing exp by number of party members would make people prefer fighting alone, and we have no rules making it harder to win when you fight alone. I have an idea for rolling dice to determine what you can take on successfully, but with all these dice rolls cluttering up RP threads, maybe there could be a thread just for dice rolling in a spam forum or something.
