[SP-F2] Material Gathering - COMPLETE

The hunt for mavericks was getting more intense, and Meggido knew sooner or later they would be coming after him. But while he was still a green player, before his cursor changed, he figured he should get to work gathering new materials to have items made up before that happened. Heading out into the mountains, he started to search for the iron skeletons he heard inhabited them.

Heading out into the mountains, it did not take long to find the Iron Skeleton spawn areas. They were level two mobs, with 4 hit points. Not an issue at his level, although the experience would be minimal, and the col drops non existant. Still, he wasn't there for col, he was there for the materials they dropped. Charging into battle at the first enemy, he raises his sword to strike. He swings his blade hard, and rips through half of its hit points in a single blow.

Already a good start to his fight, he continues his assault on the Iron Skeleton, intending on ripping it to shreds with his Crescent Moon sword. The skeleton parrys his attack, and swings back depleting a small amount of hp.

Meggido takes a few steps back, smiling. The thrill of battle, the risk of death. The adrenaline rush was intense. Laughing, he charges forward like a maniac, ready to rip this skeleton to pieces. Again, the skeleton parrys, and Meggido is forced to parry several counter attacks himself.

Meggido lets out a low growl, and starts to attack like a deranged lunatic. He threw caution to the wind, opening himself up to attacks as he launched attack after attack at the enemy. Ripping it to shreds, he leaves nothing of the enemy behind. Sadly, with no material drops, he is forced to continue deeper into the mountains to keep hunting.

Meggido continues onward, until he finds another batch of skeletons. Launching himself at the nearest one, he thrusts with his blade as he tries to destroy it. Missing, he stares in disbelief as his attack is blocked by the skeleton warrior.

He continues his assaults, as he fights for his life against these monsters. He brings his blade around again at the enemy as he tries to rip it apart. Again missing, he feels the impact of the blade rip into him from his enemy.

Meggido felt the impact, and it drove his bloodlust higher. Laughing maniacally, he brings his blade down at the enemy again and again, as he tries to butcher and destroy the skeleton. Sadly, each attack is blocked by the enemy skeleton.

Meggido couldn't believe how much trouble he was having with simple level two monsters. His gear wasnt perfect, but he still shouldn't have so much of an issue. Swinging his blade again, he refuses to give up against some random monster. Again, the monster parrys his attack, increasing his anger.

Meggido was getting seriously pissed. Was Kayaba just messing with them? This thing should be no problem to fight, yet suddenly he couldn't land a hit. Was the system angry at the PKers? Well too bad, cause he was going to do this whether they wanted him to or not. He would get stronger, and he would make sure this game never ended. His blade finally making contact, it slices through the side of the monster, severely depleting its HP.

Continuing with his attack, he keeps the momentum of his sword going as he follows through with another attack at the monster, ready to kill it once and for all. Slicing through it, he watches as it bursts apart, but leaves nothing behind, not even item drops.

Meggido moves on to the next monster, angry that he has no materials yet. Sprinting forward, he targets the next skeleton, and brings his blade down hard at the new monster. His blade cuts through the monster, ripping away half of its hit points.

Meggido continues his attacks, swinging again and again at the skeleton as he attempts to finish it off. His attacks miss, and he curses to himself. At this rate he would never get new gear.

Screaming in frustration, he swings his blade again at the enemy, as he attempts to rip it apart with his blade. He swings again and again in his anger. He watches as his attacks do their job, ripping it to shreds.

Meggido nods, finally some progress. He had quite a lot to do still before he got enough materials for what he wanted though, and he continues his assault. Charging the next enemy, he brings his blade up at it as he comes into range. Screaming, he slashes through the enemy in a single hit, ripping it down.

Continuing his hunt, he jumps at the next iron skeleton, his blade raised high. He swings his blade at the skeleton, thrilled with his recent successes. His blade cuts into it, removing half of its hit points. He laughs at the misfortune of his enemies.

Bringing his blade around again, he prepares to cut the skeleton in half. He feints a few attacks, waiting for an opening, before moving in for the kill. It manages to react in time to deflect his shot however, surviving another round of attacks.

Meggido rushes forward again, preparing to cut down the skeleton. Preparing to end this fight he charges a sword skill and rushes in. Missing again, he begins to get angry.

He holds his sword up, staring at the Iron skeleton. He waits patiently for it to attack, trying to maintain his calm. As it swings its blade at him, he parrys the shot down, then lunges forward in a counter attack. His own attack gets blocked, leaving him progressively more angry.

Meggido gives up on the calm approach, and lunges forward. Instead of waiting, he launches attack after attack, trying to break through its defenses in order to destroy it. He stares in amazement as the enemy survives his assault.
