Miaki 0 Posted July 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2014 I don't know much about Sony's Project Morpheus, but if you have been following the Oculus Rift at all you know that we already have made a strong step forward with VR technology. there are even some developers working on gear that simulates getting hit with subtle vibrations. Though I doubt we will be seeing any tech along the level of he Nerve Gear or AmuSphere anytime soon.
Guest Caen Posted July 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2014 I don't knw if this is true or not, but I've seen a replica of the NerveGear created in Japan, not sure if it's the working VR technology. Highly doubt it though, but the Oculus Rift is as far as VR will get for now. The NerveGear uses brainwaves to access your mind and virtually add you into the VR, but doing.. well. I shouldn't say any further. I won't give up on hope yet. SAO will become a reality, but as for now Oculus Rift.
Saryn 0 Posted July 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2014 It dont matter how fancy and expensive these VR headsets get, there will always be people like myself who vomit the second we put one on. I just dont have the right eyes for it, kinda sucks but whatever, I dont like 1st person games anyway.
Rolland 0 Posted August 1, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2014 I quite like this Idea, if VR does hit off on Playstation, then no dought I'll will be the first person to get a prototype headset and test that rig for a long time. So please Sony, bring on the SAO world to me, I will continue my existance there as The Lord of Nights.
