» About: Born on July 17, Akio Kioshi lives with himself. Raised by no one, he would always try to find friends from his neighborhood. Due to Kiyoshi being lonely with no friends to play with, Kiyoshi fell in a deep depression with no one to comfort him and stopped trying to find friends to play with, thus leading him to buy a game called Sword Art Online. He thought he could make virtual friends then real friends.

Kiyoshi has immense skill as a sword user, managing to smelt a sword from scrap during middle school, he was able to make one friend, but that one friend had gone and moved far. He was determined to find that friend once more. His only friend was the only thing holding him together, but now he's gone.

He currently lives at Redwick Bush in the Hartlepool. Neighbors near buy take care of him as he lives by himself. They pay for his bills and bought the house for him. He soon finds out about what they did for him. He did all he can to repay them, but they refuse his services, but continue to pay them off. Kiyoshi told them that one day he'll become a hero and save people.

» Virtues:

Kindness: Kiyoshi is a very kind person when you get to know him. His appearance of a cold appearance is just a caked on level of layers of hardly having anyone to be really kind to.

Loyalty: Kiyoshi's loyalty gives him the respect he wants during his time in the "death game." He creates many bonds with people in the real world, but his closest bond is to his friend. His loyalty will help him find friend of his. He will never take advantage of anyone whether it's an ally or enemy. That's what makes Kiyoshi a loyal person.

Courage: Kiyoshi has the ability and willingness to confront fear, pain, danger, uncertainty. and intimidation. He has both physical and moral courage. Physical courage is courage in the face of physical pain, hardship, death, or threat of death, while moral courage is the ability to act rightly in the face of popular opposition, shame, scandal, or discouragement. His courage will always get him out of tight situations no matter how difficult the situation might be.

» Flaws:

Overprotective: While Aoi doesn't become attached to people easily, he will risk himself to save someone who is in clear need of help. Even if it puts himself in danger. He doesn't want to see anyone die if he could save them, he will. In the cities, Aoi would always watch out for his sister even during school. Kinda embarrassing when people see him just in odd places watching his sister.

Arrogant: Having or displaying a sense of overbearing self-worth or self-importance. Kiyoshi is very arrogant and a smart ass because he was gifted at gaming, so he pushed people around with his superior skills a lot, something Kiyoshi will still do because he is able to and has the power to. Kiyoshi sternly believes he is better than everyone else, becoming arrogant, but day by day he realizes he should start to be kind. When he gets stuck into the death game, that's when he realizes that arrogance will get him nowhere.

Idiotic: When under deep pressure, Kiyoshi will make idiotic mistakes, but some players can persuade him to think positive. He tends to put himself into dangerous situations that causes other people to feel bad about themselves. Some say that one day his idiotic decisions will be the death of many people.
