Prior to getting sucked into an MMO, Caius was perhaps one of the most infamous crazy rich people. Born into a family that had quite a presence in the business world, Caius' youth was one which was spent largely alone. With his parents constantly off doing something or another, they where rarely around to give him proper instruction. To make matters worse, he was home-schooled by private tutors, which lead to him getting very little contact with the outside world. Indeed, the vast bulk of Caius childhood was spent alone in a mansion with anime, manga and videogames, and that was just the way he liked it. Caius was, and continues to be a curious, bright and creative individual, but one with absolutely no common sense. Due to his sheltered lifestyle he doesn't really get most people and quite frankly doesn't care to; he is selfish, and simply wants to do what he wants to do, when he wants to do it. Some people even consider him something of a brat as a result, but Caius personally doesn't care what others think of them. In his mind, the rest of the world can just go get killed on the 8th floor.

Growing up(and to this day), Caius, was smart but lazy. He loved what he learned, but hated doing work about it, and as a result became something of an "enlightened slacker." He would be chronicaly late with schoolwork and would spend all his time in videogames, yet at the same time was a pile of information and became quite well-read. As he got older, however, the lack of any real parental guidance caused him to develop little in the ways or morals or empathy. While he remained a friendly, happy person, he was also extremely selfish...and reckless. In fact, due largely to the lack of rules in his household he was allowed do whatever the heck he wanted, and with a lack of any real common sense from being sheltered for so long this resulted in him doing some very, very dumb things. He nearly burt down his manner four times, tried to build a "flying machine" who's spectacular failure wound him up in the hospital and even started to date a "girl" online who he almost flew to see but was -luckily- outed as a male NAMBLA member by his Nannie, who actually got worried for once. As he got into the teenage years, it moved to even more crazy things...he bought exotic pets, including at least one tiger, in an effort to "tame" them himself. He joined a new age cult through the internet that claimed it would cultivate his "psychic potential," paying loads of his parent's money to "unlock" his "latent abilities." All of this because, quite frankly, he wanted to do as much as he could just to see what would happen...a desire formed by the extreme boredom that filled his comfortable, cloistered existence.

When he came of age, his parent's dreaded the day they had to hand off their business empire to their crazy moron of a son, so to knock some sense into him they decided to not name him heir. Instead, they named their top executive as their successor, and even further cut him off. So for once in his life, Caius had to work...and he produced...a monster battle videogame with a very innovative battle system. Caius had made many games before, being trained in programing by his teachers after showing potential for it, but they all had been random craziness. This game, dubbed "Youkaijutsu" was his magnum opus, and it happened to sell well enough to allow him to live comfortably off the royalties while he continued to produce the squeal game and also play various MMOs. In particular a brand new MMO called "sword art online" was being hyped like crazy on the internet. Using his family's contacts and ties in the game industry he pulled strings to get in the beta, under the name Seneca. However, unknown to him, this game would turn out to be his most exciting venture ever.

» Virtues:

Creative- Seneca is a fairly out of the box thinker. While most of his ideas are utterly mad, some of them actually are quite original. This is largely due to the fact that underneath all his random moronic behavior Seneca does in fact possess a strong mind. He is highly inventive, and when put under pressure can actually come up with interesting ideas. He also tends to be fairly skilled with digital-inclined artistic ventures, mainly videogame graphics, and also can come up with good stories and gameplay mechanics for the games he makes.

Curious- Seneca at his heart always wants to know "Hey, what would happen if I did this!?" He is always looking for new possibilities, and wondering just what the world holds. He is a consummate explorer, and desires to know everything he can. A mind constantly on the move, Seneca is always trying to find new things; while he may hate work, he loves learning. He savors new, exotic and outlandish experiences, and is constantly looking for new information or facts to add to his massive mental library.

Optimistic- Seneca, having never faced any kind of real hardship for most of his life, is the eternal optimist. He always looks at situations with the glass half full and believes he can do ANYTHING if he puts his mind to it. He is always happy and energetic, no matter what the situation or time of day, and is a person who you will have a hard time getting in a bad mood. He always can see the good in situations and takes pleasure in everything he does, even if others may find it grating.

Confident- Seneca is a person who is quite sure of his abilities. While he is not a pompous braggart, he is assertive and carries himself with self-confidence. He has little doubts he can handle most challenges put in front of him. He will always throw himself at any task and takes it upon himself to believe fully that he can do whatever he wants and is worthy of his desires. He also cares little about what others think of him, and will chase his goals no matter what the world tells him.

» Flaws:

Reckless- Seneca is driven by curiosity and a desire to see interesting things happen...this makes him prone to doing many, many outright dumb things. While Seneca may have smarts beneath it all, to those who do not know him closely he just comes off as a total moron. He will always suggest the most dumb, random or just plain moronic courses of action, despite the fact he may know better, simply because he wants to see what the fallout would be. He has little regards for his own safety, or the safety of others, and will gladly suggest that his party start a bar brawl, just "because it would be AWESOME."(In reality, he usually has other motives, but doesn't like explaining them because if his selfishness and laziness.)

Selfish- Seneca, simply put, cares only about Seneca. He cares only about his own wants, needs and desires and as a result this can lead to him hurting and even endangering other people's lives simply because he wanted to do something badly and decided to do it. He is not a totally malicious person, mind you, but he doesn't care if somebody is harmed by his antics one bit, and tends to not care what others think either. He lives his life fully for his own selfish wants and desires and even seemingly lacks empathy for others.

Lazy- In addition to being selfish, Seneca is also quite lazy. Having grown up getting his way a lot Seneca tends to have a great disdain for doing work he finds mundane or boring. If he is excited by something he will be one of the hardest workers you'll ever meet, but the vast bulk of things in the world bore him and as a result Seneca just hates doing most things. He needs constant stimulation and only enjoys what he wishes to do, and as a result when faced with things he doesn't want to do he simply chooses not to do them. A master procrastinator, Seneca will put things off so much he is even known to procrastinate his own procrastination.

Spoiled- Seneca is a spoiled brat. Sheltered(and made socially inept as a result), pampered and overindulged most of his life, Seneca is the kind of person who has to have his way. He does what he wants, and if he can't there will be hell to pay. In addition, he can become quite greedy and is even prone to larceny if he cannot get what he wants through more legitimate means. He could care less about the feelings of others, and is more then happy letting them know this. He can be rude or obnoxious at times, even, and due to his sheltered lifestyle has next to no social tact when it comes to vocing that he wants his desires met now.
