Rolland 0 Posted July 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2014 As L. wandered floor 1, he hoped to do some solo play through, for as much as he liked Roy, Thanos and Tokuise, he just had to get away from them. He always was more of a loner type, never disliked or liked people, being a son of a family of police officers. You tend to adapt to there way of live, so L. just wanted to be cautious about letting other people in. As he ventures into the field, he spots a lonely boar, he then goes to calculating, "10.345% chance of it winning; factors; single opponent." "44.8275% chance of its death, factors; single opponent that is stronger." "44.8275% chance of it running away, factors; stronger opponent." L. thought as he lazily draws out his Ikiwa, and walks to the boar as his messy obsidian coloured hair blows in the breeze, as his Ikiwa was ready and pointed the boar. Edit: As L.'s attack misses the boar turns and looks at him, it's eyes turned a crimson colour, and he knew that it had locked on him. "Well, now I can calculate the outcome of this battle." "Well now lets see, 98.556% of your demise, and 1.444% chance of you getting a hit in." L. says as he awaits the boars attack. L.: 9/9 <> [Rolls 3: MIss] [boar takes 0 damage.] [1-5: MIss, no damage] [6-8: Hit, One base point of damage] [9] [10] Boar: 5/5 [OOC- Dice roll: 1-5: action falis, all foes land one point of damage on L.] [OOC- Dice roll: 6-10: action succeeds, L. dodges and lands a hit on the one foe, dealing how ever amount of damage the Combat die equals.]
Rolland 0 Posted July 26, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted July 26, 2014 The boar now rearing it's tusks into the ground, L. knows if it gets a chance to attack, that he would surely die, L. dashes at the boar, in hopes of landing a hit, his Ikiwa, a pitiful weapon, as it was his starter weapon. L. quickly thrusts his spear at the boar and sees the point in the direction of the boars head. Edit: As the boar was faster than him, it jumped away and then charged at L. as he tried to dash to his right, one of the boars tucks cleaved his leg as he gurnts in pain. His health bar going down by one point as he relaxes a bit, and locks his sights on the boar. L.: 8/9 <> [Rolls 2: Miss] [boar takes 0 damage.] [1-5: MIss, no damage] [6-8: Hit, One base point of damage] [9] [10] Boar: 5/
Rolland 0 Posted July 26, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted July 26, 2014 L. was now ready for payback, as his leg was now numb, his eyes were set to hit its target. As L. feels the wind pick up, he decides to take this to higher ground, as he uses his <> skill to jump up to a large boulder, and get a better chance using the height he had now. As he sits there, he comes up with a plan, "Since I have the height advantage, I should use this to attack, but how this will play out is a bit uneasy." He thought as he then saw the boar begin to turn and leave, as his eyes quickly close inward, he slides down the boulder and charges at the now fleeing boar. Edit: The boar leaps upward and spins in the air, as he thought, it was a trap to lure him out and strike him. But thankfully he wasn't too far away from the boulder as he then jumps again and tried to land on it, he then slid and fell back down. His eyes now set on the incoming boar. L.: 7/9 <> [Rolls 2: MIss (All actions fail due to this)] [boar takes 0 damage.] [1-5: MIss, no damage] [6-8: Hit, One base point of damage] [9] [10] Boar: 5/
Rolland 0 Posted July 26, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted July 26, 2014 The now incoming boar was about to attack L. as he tried to use his <> skill again, he wanted to backflip upward and dive down from the heavens to land a hit on this boar. Edit: As the boar rushed at him, his plan now a failure, his chest now hurting. As he looks down and sees the boar goring his torso, he takes his bare foot and kicks it away as he saw it turn back to him. "Plans have failed so far, not thinking may work, but I don't operate like that." He thought as the boar looked at him and snorted. L. pulling his Ikiwa up and dashed at the boar once more. (Starts next post.) L.: 6/9 <> [Rolls 5: Miss; boar lands on point on L.] [boar takes 0 damage.] [1-5: MIss, no damage] [6-8: Hit, One base point of damage] [9] [10] Boar: 5/
Rolland 0 Posted July 26, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted July 26, 2014 As L. dashes at the boar, his Ikiwa ready to hits it's target, "I have to hit this beast at some point, if not then I may have to retreat, for this is not how I planned it out." He thought as his Obsidian coloured hair blew in the wimds breeze. Edit: As the tip of L.s' Ikiwa hits, the blade of his spear driving in, as the sound of slashing flesh and bone came afterward. He pulls his spear out and kicks the boar back, as he sees it health go down, "Good, I managed to land a hit on it, now can I do it again?" L. said to himself, as the boar got up very slowly, as he saw a chance to attack again. He runs at it and and tries to attack once again. (Starts next post.) L.: 6/9 <> [Rolls 9: Critical.] [boar takes 2 damage.] [Plus 2 damage from Skill level: Lvl.2] [1-5: MIss, no damage] [6-8: Hit, One base point of damage] [9] [10] Boar: 1/
Rolland 0 Posted July 26, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted July 26, 2014 As L., sees the boar stand up and turn to him, he was already on top of it, as he kept a calm cool expression on his face. He raised his hand and drove his hand downward in a attempt to kill off the boar here and now. The wind picking up and his hair blowing in every which way, he calculated that this may fail and such he would just keep his distance from its tusk. Edit: As such he predicted, the boar threw up its tusks in a way to hit L., but he jumped back and kept his distance as planned, waiting for the right moment to kill it. L.: 5/9 <> [Rolls 3: Miss.] [boar takes 0 damage.] [1-5: MIss, no damage] [6-8: Hit, One base point of damage] [9] [10] Boar: 1/
Rolland 0 Posted July 26, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted July 26, 2014 L. now watching the boar as it circles him, he too as well circles it, they both now moving a around one another, as they both ready their attacks. L. rushed at the boar, as the boar charged at L., his spear ready to hit. As the boars tusk ready to goar him, L. drives his spear down and hopes to kill it off in one fell swoop. Edit: As L. drives his spear down, he hits it leg, making it fall past him, and hitting the rock behind him. L., now walking towards to boar, as he spun his spear on his palm. As he glanced at the group of wolves coming in the distance, L. judged that they would reach him in 3 minutes (Posts). As he charges at the boar he pierces its skull and makes it disappear into many pixels, he sighs as he then walks waya from the battle and begins to search for more enemies. L.: 5/9 <> [Rolls 8: Hit.] [boar takes one damage.] [Plus 2 damage from Skill level: Lvl.2] [Wolves arrival in 3 posts; starting on the next one, then will be two.] [1-5: MIss, no damage] [6-8: Hit, One base point of damage] [9] [10] Boar: -2/
Rolland 0 Posted August 14, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted August 14, 2014 As L. walks the floor he comes across a certain area and hopes to find a resting place, as he sees one he sits down, and looks around. The same group of wolves where still on his trail, but where farthre away now due to his defeat of the boar, as this was not good, he needed to get to high ground and as such he looked around but found nothing to help him. He sighs and hops down from his perch and begins to walk some more hoping he would get these wolves off his trail. L.: 5/9 [Wolves arrival in 4 posts.]
Rolland 0 Posted August 14, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted August 14, 2014 L. was finally getting sick and tired of these wolves following him, he knew they would follow him until he was dead or cornered as he looks up and around he finds a tree high enough for him to jump into and out of their reach, as he activates his <> skill, he tired to prepare for a fail if possible, he would then try again, if he failed it. Edit: As L. jumped up the treeline hie feet glowing as he jumped from treebranch to treebranch, he got high enough to where he could stay out of harms way and regain some energy to help him concetrate. As he looks at the wolfs he could see he gained some more time before they picked up his secnt again, as he then jumped between the treelines and headed towards a more quiter place to rest. [Rolled a 8] Success (All Acrobatic skill moves from now on no longer need Die rolls to work) [1-5: Failed Action] [6-10: Successful Action] L.: 5/9 [Wolves arrival in 6 posts.]
Rolland 0 Posted August 14, 2014 Author #10 Share Posted August 14, 2014 L. now usung the treelines as a way of transport he was glad to have more room to hide from that large group of Wolves, for he knew taking on three at level 3 was suicide. He wanted to take on level one and two monsters in a single digit as long as it didn't go above 2 he was happy. As he stops he looks back and tries to listen around him, he activates his <> skill to see if there was any kind of monsters around him, as he tried to concentrate on his surroundings. Edit: As L. opens his eyes, he hears nothign around him for now, as this was good he could finally start to rest abitm as this seemed like a good place ot set up camp until he felt more at ease to contnue his journey, knowing that going out in the fields alone was a risky operation for anyone, and this was almost tto much for him. [Rolled a 8] Success (All Listening skill moves from now on no longer need Die rolls to work) [1-5: Hears 2 monsters nearbye] [6-10: Hears nothing nearbye; Safe] L.: 5/9 [Wolves arrival in 5 posts.]
