» About: Jirou has always been one to stand on the sidelines and watch rather than join in on the activity himself. At school he was average and although not friendless, he never had more than a few close friends at a time. If given a project he would always prefer to work on it alone rather than with others. Being known as a loner made it even more difficult for Jirou to make friends in his later years of school.

However, when introduced to online video games, Jirou found that he quite liked doing things in groups. Although he was still more of a loner than most players, he found he quite enjoyed doing quest and missions in small guilds. He made a few long lasting friends from some of these guilds and they would go to various games and complete them.

Naturally, when he heard about this game, Jirou was thrilled and he and his friends made plans to get it and beat it. However, excitement turned to shock as the game that was supposed to just be another carefree adventure turned into a life or death battle.

» Virtues:

Observant: Years of being on the sidelines has made Jirou very observant of details others might overlook. He always is aware of his surroundings and can usually tell if something is off. Being this observant allows him to have a very good sense of direction and he can almost always retrace his steps.

Unobtrusive: Jirou is used to not ever being at the center of attention and therefore over the years has changed his posture and body language so that he is practically invisible in crowds and in even in an empty street people can pass him by without giving him a second glance.

Insightful: Jirou is able to tell a lot about a person by just observing and watching them for a short time. He can usually judge how they will react to certain request and if they are dangerous or not. This helps him say the right things to people when he is forced in social situations.

» Flaws:

Withdrawn: Around those who aren’t his friends, Jirou will act rather unfriendly and unresponsive. He usually tries to make encounters with others as short as possible and if possible, he’ll have one of his friends make the encounter for him.

Pessimist: Jirou generally has a gloomy attitude and will usually bring up the worst case scenarios even if it might bring down the groups morale. When accused of being a Pessimist, Jirou just claims he’s being a “realistâ€.

Callous: Jirou rarely shows empathy for others and is usually a bit annoyed when other express their emotions to him. He lost a couple of friends because of this trait which ironically only caused him to become more calloused.
