"I don't think your helpless, but that wont stop me from worrying..." He turns away, and sprints forward at another nearby drake. His attack is blocked however, and he is caught off guard by the sudden movement, as it slashes him across the chest driving him back a few feet. Sometimes he let himself get too wound up, and it was time to let some of that go. Throwing caution to the wind, he unleashes his most powerful sword skill yet, the . Coming to a stop in front of the drake, he unleashes the eight hit combo, slicing and slashing the beast apart until nothing remains. Link to post Share on other sites

Shiro rushed a black drake that had just landed on the ground, activating《Linear》, the lunging single-strike rapier skill once again. As she flew towards her target, her mind was completely clear. She was in that special place when she fought, devoid of all thought. There was nothing but the moment. She slammed into the beast and bounced back as it let out a roar and attempted to counter. With his increased movement speed, he easily catches up to her as she stabs the next Drake. Dashing past it, he slashes out wide with his sword, hoping to slice it straight down its side. The two had been making excellent progress and had collected a great deal of loot. She was exceptionally pleased with the quality of her new rapier. She was able to move quickly, unleash flurries of incredibly fast attacks, and dealt a great deal of damage. She could feel how much more powerful she had become since her last excursion. While others had come out with similar quality, this one he had made with everything he had put into it. He had never been so passionate before about making sure something came out perfect, until it was for Shiro. With that realization, he starts to blush. The better the gear she had now, the longer she could keep on fighting without having to worry about upgrading. She doubted she'd want to upgrade any time soon. "This is the only part of the system ive been into past here. There are red drakes there, a bit smaller, but just as vicious. We can get red scales there, which a tailor can probably dye to get the colors you are looking for. The passage is just up ahead." He points to a shadowy crevice in the wall, leading to another tunnel system. Seeing the path towards it is clear, he starts moving towards it. Link to post Share on other sites
Shiro 0 Posted July 31, 2014 #30 Share Posted July 31, 2014 Shiro's footsteps echoed off the walls of the massive chamber as she quickly followed along beside Seldentar. They had been making quick work of the enemies they'd fought so far, but she figured it best to not get complacent. Death in Aincrad legitimately meant death. There was no way to be "too careful" here. She stayed close to Seld, opposite his sword arm. If anything sudden and hectic happened, it would be much better to stay away from his slashes. Her handed-ness didn't matter so much as she fought mostly in thrusting movements. The two had done a good job of staying out of each other's way so far, but it couldn't hurt to consider these things. Link to post Share on other sites
Seldentar 0 Posted July 31, 2014 Author #31 Share Posted July 31, 2014 Coming out of the tunnel into a smaller chamber, Seldentar and Shiro can both easily see the red drakes that inhabit this cave. They seem to be smaller in size, but still look quite lethal with their razor sharp talons. Stepping out into the chamber, Seldentar looks up as he hears a loud screeching noise. A red drake dive bombs at him, claws raking forward at the intruder in their home. He brings his blade out quickly, deflecting the claw strikes, and slashing out at the drake to knock it back, away from the pair. As his sword makes contact, it begins to glow red, almost like a sword skill activating, and Seldentars hit points restore to full. The two didn't seem to need words in a fight. They simply acted, as though they were one being. The drake shattered and vanishhed from existence, and she swung her rapier out of habit. He had complete confidence in her abilities, and knew she could handle herself at this point. Rushing past the drake, he charges the next one even as Shiro was finishing off the one behind him. His sword held out, he lunges forward. A large claw reaches up at the last second, his blade being blocked by the drakes dagger sized talons. Link to post Share on other sites

Seldentar had already initiated combat with another nearby drake, so she began activating《Linear》in order to close the gap quickly. Her sword began to glow and the system launched her at the dragonling at blinding speed. Her blade ever-so-slightly missed the claw that had made an attempt on Seldentar, and she went flying between the two of them. She did a little spin to face the drake, and hopped back to get clear for her next attack. Link to post Share on other sites

Maneuvering in front of the drake, he manages to barely block the claw, but then feels the impact as the other claw rakes into his side. He stumbles back a few feet from the impact. It wasn't life-threatening by any stretch of the imagination, but it made Shiro angry just the same. She stepped between the drake and Seldentar and quickly made several slashes with her rapier. Raising his own sword, he dashes after her, and as she jumps back from the drake, he moves in for the kill. With several slashes from his sword, he carves the drake up, destroying it utterly. Finding another nearby enemy, Shiro tucked her rapier into her chest and dashed forward, lunging the gleaming《Myrtenaster》towards the unsuspecting drake. Her rapier buried nearly to the hilt and it took her a bit of effort to pull it free as she hopped back to make room for Seldentar's inevitable follow-up. Sword at the ready, he moves just as she hops back, as he beelines for the drake with his blade held high. His blade slices at a diagonal angle, slashing through the drake as he brings his blade around, the drake exploding as it dies. Obtained: 2 Red Dragon Scales He turns to look at Shiro, smiling. "Do you want to head back, weve been out a long time at this point, and its still a bit of a walk back. We could head back down to Urbus, maybe grab some food." Link to post Share on other sites
Shiro 0 Posted August 2, 2014 #40 Share Posted August 2, 2014 She sheathed her sword and turned to face Seldentar. A faint smile crossed her features as he spoke. "It's all the same to me." She meant what she said. She could go on fighting these creatures or make the trek back to Urbus and get something to eat. She would be every bit as happy either way so long as Seldentar was there. The two weren't exactly "inseparable" or anything, but she certainly enjoyed spending time with him and preferred it to doing things alone. Link to post Share on other sites
