[PP-F?] An Alchemist's Harvest (Haine)

[Raidou 1]

Raidou removes his shop clothes and equips his combat gear. Raidou exits his shop, as the door is open the sun beats on his eyes, the rapid change of dark to light environment blinding Raidou a bit. Going out to gather some materials to stay ahead of the curve, Raidou still has a craft left for today so hes going to go get some materials to continue to learn. Raidou makes a mental note at what he needs, yet not entirely sure where to find each of them.

Raidou goes for the sure thing, and begins to patrol the area for Moss swines. The last time he was hunting these things with Ruri. Raidou climbs the nearest tree and looks down at the forest floor. Seeing a trail of eaten herb bushels, Raidou slides down the tree with a thud, kicking up some dust. Raidou follows the half eaten herbs to a pack of moss swines sniffing around the forest floor looking around for herbs. This time Raidou wont be waiting for them to find more, he will just attempt to harvest his herbs from the un-hostile animals. One at a time Raidou intends to cut them down, and collect Self-Heals from their remains.

Raidou draws his heavy as hell weapon, with a quick thrust of his right and left arm. Drawing the weapons edge on his left armor sleeve a bit of sparks sheen off of it as its raised to shoulder level. Drawn like an imaginary bow, his left arm points at his target as the right holds the sword like a drawn arrow.

Moss-swine 1: 3/6 HP

Raidou makes the first move, breaking for the enemy he drops the weight of his weapon downward. Using the momentum of the weapon dropping, the weapon goes full circle and is now raised overhead, he jumps and goes for an attempt to pancake the monster flat under the sheer weight. The creature is unaware that the shadow overhead was an attacker. Slamming into the creature, with a crash the creature and cracking the ground underfoot dealing 3 damage and knocking it down. Rolling over in its haste, it gets up angry beginning to kick up some dirt from behind it. Lowering its head the creature charges forward, with the hardened plate on its head acting like a battering ram. Raidou quickly lifts his weapon and uses the blade as pole to block the animal taking 0 damage.

Raidou pushes the creature back a little. Pivoting on his left foot 180 degrees, Raidou lets the creature charge past as he re claims his footing. Raidou lifts his heavy sword over his right shoulder. Raidou moves in for the kill, dashing in weapon on his shoulder held tight, to put an end to this fight before it even began. Picking up speed a bit, Raidou catches the creature before it turns. Raidou nails the creature right in the back knocking it to the ground with the weight of the weapon dealing 3 damage. The pig squeals from the weight and thrust into the ground. The creature pops under the weight and bursts into shards of data.

Raidou finds a unit Self-Heal, laying where the creature had fallen. Raidou collects his herb into his dry bag. and moves on to the next pig in the pack.

Raidou spots the next pig, as it separates from the herd. Raidou unsheathes his weapon from the earth, and lifts his weapon into his now defining pose. Drawing the weapon up his left arm and raising it to shoulder height. As soon as the weapon ceases to raise, Raidou breaks forward at the creature. Raidou's speed increase as his weapon glows blue, Spinning with his weapon using its weight to move in a quick circle, his momentum shifts on his left leg. he pivots right 360 degrees and slams his right foot down and pushes off, as he makes contact with the animal. The doubled momentum of the weapon and his own, slamming into the animal it is thrown through a nearby tree, all of Raidou's inertia is transferred to the animal dealing 5 damage, giving it no chance of retaliating.

Raidou's legs shift back to his shoulder width sliding his feet along the dirt peeling up a bit of sand raised into a small cloud. Raidou moves back to his defensive stance, drawing his weapon back up his left arm into his signature pose. Raidou moves in for the kill, before the animal can recuperate. the animal struggles to stand from the previous blow, only managing to lift his front to legs before Raidou catches for the kill, dragging his weapon through the ground and the animal at once, it pops into data as its flung upward for a second, going off a foot above the ground, a Self-Heal herb dropping out of it as it joins the data stream. Raidou places the herb into his dry sack, and scratches another tally on his shopping list. "Thats two down" Raidou says to himself.

Raidou doesn't miss a beat as the rest of the animal's continue ahead seeming to try to put distance between them. Raidou shreds up a bit of ground as he pulls his weapon out. Hanging his sword over his right shoulder, Raidou braces down close to the ground. Raidou mentally counts the remaining moss swine in the herd "alright there is 5 left, they still don't seem to be hostile to me, even though I've killed 2" Raidou pushes off the ground with his left hand and his right leg to enter right into running. Suddenly Raidou loses his grip on his weapon and, although he swings, misses his target for his blunder, and is forced to jump back as the animal as now aggro'd him from his failed swing attempt. The swine attempts to head but Raidou on the left. Luckily Raidou sees it coming and blade blocks the creature with a reversed grip and his weapon as a makeshift shield.

Raidou hunches down, placing his left hand back on the ground. Proceeding to pivot on his left hand, Raidou shifts his weight and sweeps the creatures leg. As the creature is prone, Raidou slides his legs back underneath him and does a body rotation, like the hands on a clock, Raidou drops his right hand clutching his weapon, his legs down to the ground and pushing off with his left. The creature moves into attack but is confronted with only the blade of Raidou's weapon taking 3 damage, with a crash, its knocked to the ground with a bright red gash looking to have almost cut the creature in half.

A wild Haine appeared. She glanced into the distance and smirked when she had seen the random ugly creature battling someone with the username of <>. Wanting to pitch in and help him out, she did so, walking over towards the foe and distracting it to look at her. "Heya big oaf!" she'd grin before drawing her blade and smirking, leaping towards the opponent swiftly. The monster had some skills and dodged her attack easily. Her eyes would widen as it moved to her, practically so close to tackling her and all that good stuff. "Seriously..." the bluenette muttered as she put up her shield and used it to push the monster over. "CRAZY BISH!!!" she'd holler before looking over at the dumfounded Raidou and smiling. "Switchity switch!"

Raidou is surprised to see his friend here. Ripping his weapon out of the ground with force, Raidou shifts to his feet. Enacting on Haine's call-out he pulls his sword up his armor back into his signature pose. The pig gets to its feet and begins to charge at Raidou. Having barely a moment to prepare, Raidou begins his parry stance. Swinging to the right and using the momentum to set it up, Raidou pivots on his left foot. Just as the creature is about to make contact with Raidou, he completes his spin and makes contact with it first. Slamming into the creature on the left with his weapon, it skips a bit and drags along the ground taking 2 damage. The red slash visible as the creature is on its last limb. "There Haine, its all yours" Raidou says with confidence, proud of his first successful grand mass parry.

I'll twist this up good!" the bluenette grinned cheerfully as she gave a careless thumbs up at Raidou before immediately looking over at the moss swine and glaring daggers at it, smirking as she raised her katana. "I shall shun you... you retched creature!!" and with that Haine sprinted at the monster and slashed it sideways, before cheerfully running around it. "W-Wait... SHUN? How is that even- oh wellz~" the erratic teenager would blab on before moving her head back and forth to see if she could spot any monster drops to hand over to her friend if she ever could get a hold of them first.

Raidou walks over to Haine, and gives her a hug as he hasn't seen her in a while. Then Raidou's embarrassment kicks in as he disconnects from her red his heart pounding about to leave its cage, and goes to retrieve the items from the large chest Haine pounded out of the creature. Lifting the heavy top, Raidou pulls out both a blue mushroom and another self heal, saying to himself "Go figure, that's where you get blue mushrooms from." Looking back at Haine unknowing his anxieties where dissolving under her kind actions, Raidou says at her "Want to help me get more?"

Haine giggled at his actions as he'd freak out after hugging her. "Alrightie! Let's gather so many mushrooms than... LOGIC!" the bluenette grinned excitedly before looking back and forth around the area like a kid in a candy store. "Best not delay! I NEED TO GET SOME SERIOUS COMBAT AND ADVENTURE ON," the bluenette hyperly exclaimed before dragging Raidou on.

Raidou let Haine drag him for a bit, then happily continued on with his partner. Pleased with his company although he doesn't say so, Raidou pulls out his shopping list, and relays the information to Haine "I need to get 2 more Self heals from these swine, then I need to get 1 of each Honey, Bitter Extract and Viscous Secretions which i have no clue where to start." Beating a path through the forest, Raidou happens on a small patch of yellowish herbs he hasn't seen before. Walking up to it, hes confronted by a wolf not about to give up its territory, drawing his weapon to put down the creature so he can obtain the items he needs, it begins to glow with his intentions. With a pivot on his heel, and a quick move of his weapon, Raidou spins before his weapon collides with the side of the animal, leaving a big red gash on its right side, and knocking it over making it easy prey for Haine.
