Nexscarecrow 0 Posted March 11, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 11, 2014 On a scale of 1 to 10? Yggdrasil out of 10...
Guest Posted March 11, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 11, 2014 This episode was pretty good I guess. It helped us know there is potential for sequals and extra seasons in the SAO universe, which it has already done by giving us Gun Gale.
Zirrix 0 Posted March 12, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Also the movie, at the beginning it's just a recap, but then they go into ALO and quest and stuff.
Cinder 0 Posted March 28, 2014 #11 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Also the movie, at the beginning it's just a recap, but then they go into ALO and quest and stuff. I felt it was more a little teaser to appease fans while Gun Gale Online was finishing up. Just like a little "Hey, they're still chilling out in the gaming world" kind of thing. Zelrius 0 Posted March 29, 2014 Author #12 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Yeah that Movie was more or less going back through all the Episodes without you having to re watch them all along with telling the viewers that Kirito did NOT quit gaming after he found Asuna.
Cinder 0 Posted March 29, 2014 #13 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Yeah that Movie was more or less going back through all the Episodes without you having to re watch them all along with telling the viewers that Kirito did NOT quit gaming after he found Asuna. You know, despite having a traumatic experience, I personally feel I'd go back in as well. I mean, yeah, it'd be scary to get trapped inside, but deep down, virtual reality gaming with the NerveGear is is too amazing of a gaming experience to pass up.
Zelrius 0 Posted March 29, 2014 Author #14 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Which is probably he went back, Cinder. Quite honestly, I myself wouldn't let one game ruin my entire experience with something such as the Nervegear.
Guest Posted March 29, 2014 #15 Share Posted March 29, 2014 I agree with everything Zel just said.
Cinder 0 Posted April 1, 2014 #16 Share Posted April 1, 2014 Exactly, and too be completely honest, after spending two years in a game, sure, I might take a break, breath some fresh air, but with a mindset like mind, I'd jump right back in, just because the "real world" would be boring as hell after all of that. Miaki 0 Posted May 3, 2014 #17 Share Posted May 3, 2014 Having watched this in the dub finally I must say that this episode was well done. What I liked was that the series started to implement the feeling of being in an MMO. Logging on and meeting up with people, shopping while you wait, talking about raiding plans in real life. Watching it with the idea that they are in an actual MMO and able to log out at anytime. It was rather interesting that they introduced racial conflict and the "renegades". Im not sure if it is that realistic in an MMO, though my experience with MMOs hasn't gone much further than The Old Republic which didnt have that much conflict aside from Sith vs Jedi. Any WoW players in here able to tell me if there were racial wars in the game? I also have to say I loved the timing of the ending theme starting when it did! Overfly is so beautifully done. I've listened to that one alot when I'd walk into work early in the morning when I worked at a waterpark. The sun rising, the water steadily flowing, the sweet silence, and me playing Overfly.
