Shade walked through the sands of Floor 5. How long had he been there? Hours? Days? Weeks? He wasn't sure. It was all just a long blur to him. He climbed sand dune after sand dune, searching for the reason he had come here. "Where the Hell is it...?" He grumbled, walking through the gusty winds.

The cold night air of the desert stung Shade's eyes as he trudged on. He climbed over another sand dune and then saw it. A large triangular structure, made entirely of stone. He pulled the rough scarf he wore to the desrt down from his mouth and he inhaled the cool air, eyeing the structure.

He then got on the other side of the slope and slid down, kicking up sand as he slid to the base of the pyramid. "Hmph. Now to see what the programmers went through all the trouble just to hide in the wasteland..." He said, a hint a satifaction in his voice as he stood up and started to walk around the pyramid.

Shade walked around the pyramid, looking for entry. His feeling of satisfaction soon left him as he saw no entry on any of the sides. "What the hell?" Shade said with a hint distaste in his voice. He climbed up on one of the stone bricks and looked around the pyramid.

Shade walked around the pyramid once more, this time feeling around every odd-looking nook and cranny he could find. But to no avail, there was nothing. No doors, no passages, nothing. Shade grumbled with slight anger and then spat. "Why go through all the trouble of hiding this pyramid if there's no entrance?"

Shade searched for what felt like hours. After a few more times around the pyramid, he fell to his bottom and growled. "There's just no way in..." And as if on cue, the small stone he was sitting on began to sink, going downward and lowering Shade with it. "What the..?" He said, sitting up.

As the stone sank, so did a few bricks on the pyramid, revealing an entrance. It was extremely narrow, with hieroglyphics all over the walls along with the occasional torch here and there. Shade walked in and narrowed his eyes, trying to get a fix for how long this tunnel was. With no end in site, he started down through it.

Shade walked deeper and deeper through the bowels of the tomb, less and less torches appearing. Soon enough, the pictures on the walls became darker, and much more morbid. There were all sorts disturbing images that were on the walls, things that most likely shouldn't be said here.

Soon, the dull corridor was too dark to see in. Shade walked back to the last torch he saw and pulled it out of the wall, using it to light his way as he continued. Soon, the narrow passage came to a large opening came into view. It seemed like some sort of large hall, with two closed off doors with a large Horus statue on either side.

Shade walked forward and then looked around, seeing four different passage ways besides the one between the Horus statues. "Hmph. Clearly the center door is the one I must go through." He said, moving forward. Until, he felt a rumble through the temple, and then there was a flash.

Four figures emerged from each wall, each one with a spectral appearance. They wore long robes, covering their whole bodies. They had hoods up, but their faces were visible. They had brown, leathery looking skin. Their lips were shriveled, and exposing their teeth, all of which were crooked, and stained. And each one lantern in one hand, and a sacrificial dagger in the other.

Shade blinked and took a few steps back, drawing his sword as the specters began to circle around him, whispering in an in-comprehend able language. Shade gritted his teeth and moved forward to slash the specters, but in an instant, they moved away and toward the large door.

Shade watch as they were now around the doors. On the rail of the stairs leading up to the doors, there were four braziers, each of which had a different colored flame. One ghost scooped up a lively green flame, another scooped up a hateful red, another scooped up a bold blue, and the last one scooped up a mysterious purple.

Shade tried to keep focus on each one as they split up, each one going into the four different hallways and getting away at high speed. Shade blinked and frowned. This would take longer than he wished it to. "Hmph... These poltergeists better have worth-while experience..." He said silently, drawing his sword and moving forward.

Shade looked at all the directions they went in. He sighed and crossed his arms, going towards the upper right door. Walking in, sand was overflowing the hall. It poured from the ceiling, walls, and seemed to swallow parts of the ground. Shade took a breath and proceeded carefully. No telling what the sand held.

As Shade walked, the sand seemed to flow faster. Only a few torches lit the area, giving the whole hall a demonic glare to it. Shade furrowed his brow and walked on solid ground, careful not to step in the sand. But then, in a crack in the wall, something moved. It was small, and Shade had to squint to see it.

As Shade squinted, the movement in the wall became clearer. A scarab. It popped out of the wall and looked at Shade with it's shining eyes, then it started to move towards him. Following the first, another came. Then two. After that, three. And then more kept swarming out of the crack in the wall.

Shade blinked as the scarabs swarmed to him, climbing up his legs and all over his body. Shade gritted his teeth and kept trying to move to avoid the sand, but the scarabs wouldn't let him. They began moving his body as they crawled all over him, making him walk right to a sand pit.

Shade's mind raveled at what he could do to avoid the scarab's influence. They were swarming his entire body, and Shade could do nothing to get them off. And once they got him into the sand, he would sink and he would suffocate for sure. "...Don't... Toy with me..." Shade said through clenched teeth, trying to resist their control.

Shade felt one of his feet rest on the sand and starting to be drawn downward, grains of sand going up his pant leg as he lowered slightly. The his next foot stepped in, and Shade started to sink at an even rate. Shade clenched his jaw as he fought with all his might to move an arm, as he kept lowering into the ground.
