Shade got to moving again, but the rest of the skeletons caught up to him while he took down the first one. Each one got a good amount of stabs and cuts in, giving Shade a small amount of trouble in their larger number. One on one was something, but together they proved a challenge.

One skeleton slashed the back of Shade's knee, sending him to the ground in an instant. They then began their Shingeki No Shade again, stabbing him repeatedly and dealing another margin of damage. "Damn it... If this keeps up, I'm done for..." He muttered under his breath, breaking away from them.

Shade finally got his bearings and got ready to attack. He moved forward to the one closest to him and he slashed off the arm carrying a sword, he then used his momentum he had to do a horizontal slice upwards, slashing it in two and destroying it instantly. "Hmph. Canon fodder."

Shade kept his attack going, moving closer to another and bringing his sword downward. The carving sound of his saw-like sword slicing it's way through the bone was loud, letting the last two skeletons know they were out of help for the rest of this fight.

The last two weren't quite done yet, and still had some fight left. They got close to Shade and closed the distance quickly, using their weapons to attack him again. This time however, Shade was able to easily avoid more, and get hit much less. Due to the lesser amount of enemies attacking him.

Shade was able quickly take a hold of one of the skeletons by the ribs, yanking out one of the bones t=and then shoving it into the skeleton's eye socket. While it was stunned by the action, Shade did a quick slash, finishing it off quickly enough to stop it from reacting.

Shade watched as the last one tried to get away. He ran after it and got it in a tackle. He drew his sword and slashed it repeatedly, until it burst in a brilliant explosion of crystals. Shade then stood up and put his sword away, wiping some swea away from his forehead.

Shade walked over to the spot the last skeleton had been killed and he went to check his prize, seeing if it was anything worthwhile. One <> And One <>. Not much, but something. He put the material away and continued on down the path he had been taking.

At long last, Shade finally entered a large room, dark blue lanterns all around the walls of the circular room. Shade stepped in slowly, getting a feel for the whole area and looking all around him. So much detail was put into this temple. It was interesting why so much trouble was put into hiding it.

Shade kept walking forward until he was in the middle of the room. Where was the specter he had seen before? He looked around cautiously, seeing all the lanterns were the same color as the flame that was stolen. "Where the Hell is that damn ghost?" Shade grumbled, looking around.

Shade felt something barely miss him from behind, a loud whistling noise. Shade rolled forward and got his sword ready. Standing there was the ghost he had seen before, the thief of the blue flame. "You bastard..." Shade grumbled, getting to his feet and getting ready for a fight.

Atem was fast. Very fast. He moved quickly enough to get right up to Shade, then starting to stab him rapidly in the chest with the wavy sacrificial knife. Shade's breath rasped as he was caught entirely off guard by this. Shade was able to break away, but the bad start had already given him a disadvantage.

Shade got the edge in speed this time. He anticipated Atem's movement, he relied on it. He faked out and slowed hwlf-way through his attack, before going for an upper slash right up the poe's body. The ghost shrieked, loud enough to make Shade's ears bleed. If he were out of the game that was.

Shade was able to quickly bring his blade back down for another strike. The shriek was loud and unbearable, but Shade was able to tolerate it. He sliced down the ghosts body, giving it a fierce blow down it's already open wound. This attack had very well evened things out.

Shade was planning to keep himself in complete control over this whole fight, and so far, he was keeping just that way. He used <> To punch the ghost away, giving it a good hi before he did a horizontal slice across it's chest, making it his punching and slashing bag.

Shade was about to go in for one last good hit to finish it, but he was stabbed in the sternum as he lifted his sword above his head. Shade coughed and stepped back, placing one hand over the wound while he glared at the ghost. "You'll pay for that, you uncultured swine..."

Shade dashed forward and tried to out-speed Atem. It worked. He did a few quick cuts and scrapes on the vile ghost, and then kicked him away, giving Shade a good foot hold for Atem's next attack. All Shade had to do was counter it, and this fight would come to a decisive end.

Shade felt the sand grind beneath his shoe as the ghost came at him, their blades clashing together. Shade blinked as Atem's sword started to slowly phase through his own, before finally coming out of the other end and hitting Shade directly in the neck.

Shade grabbed Atem's sword and shoved it through his torso, forcing him to the ground and then pinning him the with the sword. Shade then set his boot on Atem's head and rested his own sword on his neck, before doing a swift slice and making the ghost vanish into a pile of ectoplasma.

Shade looked at the miserable pile of Atem's ectoplasma and he got on his knees, scooping through it to see if there was anything usable. The ectoplasma itself could probably be sold to an alchemist. Shade put it all into his inventory, getting him four bowls of <>. He also found three <> and a <>.
