*Virtues*

[+] Fighter: While most of his skills are very low he is a smart fighter. using tactics and other forms of attack rather than just straight up battles. This is one of the many skills he has in attacking people. Not quite the cloak and dagger kind of attacks, but a mix of the two to allow him an edge but not a huge advantage over both parties. If need be, Nick is sometimes seen carrying a larger Two-handed Straight Sword to fight those who have more strength or armor than he does. At the current moment, however, he carries it always because of his lower level. The bad part about this is that while he is a smart fighter, there is one thing that will always get under his skin, and that is the death of his friends. If a comment is made rudely or whatever he deems is rude or disrespecting his now deceased friends, he will attack full of rage.

[+] Kind hearted/Thick Skin: While most of the time he meets someone new, he can be rather kind and helps out people. He tries to be nice towards others even if they are being rude to him. Most of this is because he has a rather thick skin towards others thoughts or conceptions of him. About the only thing that can get through his skin is comments about his dead friends. Or even if he made friends that were alive, he would protect them with everything he had. Supporting them unless they were in the wrong, or they went against Nick's own values.

[+] Straight shot: While Nick is kind of blunt in his attitude, He keeps his morals clean cut. Nick has a higher standard of morals than most others. One example is that he does not like to attack women and holds them to a higher regard to himself. The only time that he would attack or even cause injury to a woman is if he was attacked first, and it was in the threat of his life.

*Flaws*

[-] Vengeance: Once being in a very small guild named "The Crimson Roses" a group of four including him. They were a small group that mostly kept to themselves because they had all been friends out of the game. Mostly by staying in contact by Social media, except for Jasmine which happened to be a very close friend of Nick. So much so that others, including himself sometimes, thought that they were a couple. This all went bad when they were taken in with a different guild to help them train and become a better group and help in the front lines. However, this all ended when they slaughtered them. Because of this one act, Nick is "on the path to the darkside" or a path of Revenge or Vengeance against those who killed his friends. He is not stopping any time soon either.

[-] lack of skills: After the start of SAO, Nick and his friends spent most of their time just being friends and messing around. Preferring to let the others who were so intent on getting out of here to fight on the front lines. This has caused a great lack of skill for Nick and his friends. As well as making them easy prey. As the last member of the guild, he lacks the skills to make a complete fight against those who killed his friends. Rather low on the totem pole, Nick knows that he has to work his way up before he can even get close to who he wants.

[-] Blunt: Nick is a blunt person. He will get straight to the point, and this can lead to people believing that he is arguing with them or outright demanding them to do something. This can lead to many problems with friends and others around him. This can also tie in with his Moral values. If he feels that you are doing something wrong. Nick will let you know. Doesn't matter if you are the top of the Guild or the beggar on the street, he will tell you how he feels about them.

[-] Impatient: Nick is blunt. This leads into him being not so patient with people, or just time itself. If a person is late, he feels as though they were doing something to hinder them. So he will tell them, then complain about it. Not so good for his character image, but he does not care. Nick wants, what nick wants.

[-] Solo-player: Nick for now is a Solo-player. He feels as though he does not need to have people to help him. But he will accept help. Taking into the idea that his best friends were killed, Nick does not like to get close to others because he fears that it could happen again. (However this does not mean if he finds a few people, that he will not tag up with them or find the special someone.)

[-] Secluded: Nick keeps to himself. While he will speak his mind, he does not speak his feelings about himself to others. Rarely he will say what is pushing him and making him move on from his past. This also translates to him not wanting to accept alot of help. So if someone is offering him a place to stay, he may try and turn you down. (try hard and he might break) But he will always feel awkward around others.

Attitude:

Blunt, impatient, secluded, and without love. Nick is not the kind of person to be on the wrong side of. He is kind and a nice person to be around if you just get to know him. Nickolas is a person that tries to stay alone, but despite that over millions of people are on SAO at the current moment, it is kind of hard to stay away from people, nor to be not seen. In a battle, Smart thinking is what keeps him going, but when enraged, he won't stop unless the combat ends, or one of either him or the other person is dead and gone in a flurry of particles.

Appearance:

Generally dressed in black clothing. Most of his hair is jet black or a very dark brown texture. Having semi-sharp facial features. While most of the time Nickolas is dressed in a Tanktop or other arm revealing shirts, When he wears armor he will cover it up when in battle.

Biography:

Before SAO:

Nick lived with his brother Morna as his Parents were gone most of the time after he turned 16 years old. Most of the time the two brothers did everything together, but when Morna had said that he would be joining the Military. Nick had to move once more to his parents house and began to live with them when from the bootcamp, Morna had sent in the SAO game to his brother saying that he Beta Tested it a while back and thought it would be a good game for Nick to play. And as he got in. He was now stuck. As well as his three friends.

In Game:

Nickolas, Or Nick, has been stuck in the game from the very beginning. he was in the first assault in the tower, but left after seeing people die and this scared him. He didn't want to die himself. He stayed back and the first few times he talked to others, Friends of his that he had met outside the game on chat sites, he finally got to see in game. They decided to join together and create their own group called the Crimson Roses. And each one of them were Thorns. They stayed together and tried to make a life in the lower levels to just play around. Never really doing anything as the Frontal assault was moving onwards. They thought they would try and help, but no one really accepted them. It was when this larger guild *Name unknown should someone want to play the bad guy* They took them fairly far and trained them, only to fake The Crimson Roses. They then tried to kill them all. While his friends died, He ran. He tried to survive, and every day since, he blames himself for not standing up for his friends.

It has now been about two months. And after getting over his fears of death, he now calls himself The Crimson Rose to avenge his friends deaths. And he will not be stopped.
