Seldentar draws his blade from his back, the red tinted blade gleaming in the sunlight. As the challenge begins, he leaps forward, his blade held high. His blade slashes across its side, depleting a large portion of its hit points. Afterwards, he jumps back, removing himself from the fight so as not to accidentally kill the familiar.

A shining glint in the divine wolf's eyes, he was impressed with the man's strength and dexterity, but his main target was the woman who would become his Celestial Envoy. Charging forward, Shiranui called upon a blade of monstrous thunder.

Holding the blade in his mouth, Shiranui quickly slashed at Hikari, careful not to kill her, at least.

Impressed the silver-haired girl could dodge even one of his Divine Instruments, Shiranui jumped back, giving a back-flip in midair and looking at the girl with fire in his eyes, new-found respect filling his heart.

Visualizing Shiranui's attack was easy, the attacks were telegraphed enough to see exactly where they'd hit, but this wolf was perhaps a bit different, he didn't fight with the intent to kill, he simply wanted a duel, nothing more. Quickly jumping back to avoid his strike, Hikari gave a slight smirk at the Divine Wolf before quickly reaching for her blade and charging it with a distinct dark purple glow, the mark of the skill "Linear".

Battle Dice - 2 - Fail! - no damage

Her blade meeting with Shiranui's Thunder Edge, Hikari quickly jumped back to prevent more damage, signaling Seldentar with a familiar shout: "Switch!" Hoping the man would finish this battle, she knew Shiranui was very astute, able to sense where and how they'd strike.

Shiranui - 13/20

Seldentar moves forward again, seeing how the monster still had over half its health. He reasons he should be safe for one final attack, he doubted he could kill this thing in a second hit. Bringing his blade up, he leaps forward. His blade slashes into the beast again, dropping its hit points well below half, ending the challenge. Standing up, he sheathes his sword, stepping back.

«Shiranui Post»

Being struck by the man's blade, Shiranui felt that his condition wouldn't be enough to battle anymore. Considering Hikari worthy of being his equal, Shiranui approached her slowly, sitting in front of her and offering her his paw, signifying the end of the challenge and the acceptance of her becoming his Celestial Envoy. Summoning his remaining two Divine Instruments to Hikari so she could see them, Shiranui made sure not to intimidate her, as he had no more desire to fight.

Taking Shiranui's paw on her hand, the HUD saying "BATTLE END. WINNERS: HikariZX; Seldentar" appeared in front of the three. Impressed by Shiranui's various weapons, Hikari stored one of the chops of meat remaining in her inventory and tossed the other one to Seldentar. "A promise is a promise, half the remaining's yours" Opening up her inventory, Hikari examined the Col she got from the boars before. "200, you got the same, right, Sel?" Closing up her inventory, Hikari immediately shook Seldentar's hand for his help. "You really did most all of the work here, I couldn't have done it without you, honest." Walking back to town with her wolf, Hikari disbanded the party with Seldentar before giving him a smile. "I really don't know how to repay you, but if you ever need something, swing by my shop, I'll make you some equipment, for free, this first time." Turning around and heading back to town, Hikari petted Shadow one last time for today. "And you too, little guy, thank you for your help."

Col got: 1 page full - 400 Col/2 participants = 200 Col for each.

Items got: (3 Boar meat -1 spent to tame)/2 members = 1 boar meat for each
