» About: Noboru Juba, is a man that grew up in a middle class family as an only child in a decently active family. He was pampered for his early life and was completely content with it until he turned 14, which is when both his parents were given promotions in their individual jobs and their family's wealth grew, with his parent's increasing home absence. Noboru confronted his parent about their disapearance in his life and they suggested he take up a hobby, to pass the time. This hobby was pool, he practiced vorociously and asked to go to a competition which they generously accepted. His first tournament was an absolute failure but that excited him more than any success could have, he was energized by the other participants and the differences between their playing styles. This became almost a fixation and he practiced and practiced at all the forms of billiards and continued to compete continually doing better and better. This has continued to the present day but one of his fellow pool players informed him of the soon to come game SAO and challenged Noboru to try and reach the top level before he could and so he ordered the game, and once he retrieved it was time for-

» Virtues:

Tenacious: Noboru doesn't believe in giving in, if he was walking down a path and a wall were blocking his path he wouldn't turn back he would ascend the wall, and with each failed attempt his passion for success would burgeon and burgeon he would continue to attempt the climb until he succeeded or....

Flexible: He would find a different solution, if the wall was truly unscalable he would change his tactics against the obstacle. No longer would he try to climb it he would try to destroy it, to create an opening for him to pass through. This is Noboru's elasticity in problem solving as long as something is overcome in some way it is still a success to him. If a plan fails he will roll with the punches and try something new the next time, and if that fails he will try something even more unique until he succeeds.

Mathematics: Noboru has always has had a knack for doing calculations within his head, trigonometry being a favourite of his due to its easy application to his past-time of choice, billiards. He frequently uses math to think out his actions, he isn't anyone that is going to become a hacker or statistician, but he finds uses for his expertise in math, such as using math for complex combat manoeuvres with his spear in SAO.

» Flaws:

Competitive: Noboru is the type of man that sees overcoming obstacles as the ultimate purpose of his life, to surpass, to ascend. This combined with seeing just about everything as a jumpable hurdle has caused many complications throughout his life. He has an almost impulsive urge to have to compete with others even if the subject isn't aware of Noboru's competition with them. He also finds it extremely difficult to turn down a challenge that he believe involves him. And has led to his catchphrase, "Is that a challenge?" always said with a grin so full of ecstasy that it is almost sickly.

Rebellious: Noboru absolutely hates being bossed around or held back by those that, may, be considered above him. He requires to have as much freedom as he can and will fight back against any snares placed on him with tooth and nail. He can follow orders or battle plans but only if they are open for some of his tactics or if they are similar to what he was thinking.

Theatrical: Noboru has always been a showmen since he was a child, if something can be done it is best to make it memorable, in his mind. So he likes to add bits of flair and challenge to almost anything, be it forgoing an easy pocket shot for a much more difficult bank-shot with a large amount of English (rotation) on the cue ball, to slaying a monster with a front flip shield smash instead of a quick jab with a rapier.
