Griswold 0 Posted September 10, 2014 Author #61 Share Posted September 10, 2014 Griswold takes a blood carbon bar into the furnace fire, heating it to a bright orange. The steel began to shape under the weight of the Horadric Malus, the blade began to form. Griswold quickly took a etching chisel out and removed the excess metal and began to sharpen the steel. The blade didn't seem to hold enough edge. Griswold takes the cooled blade to his thumb, twiddling the edge to test the edge. "Nope not worthy for battle" Griswold says in his heavy accent. Dropping the blade into the barrel of useless weapons, he moves on to the next ingot.Crafting Dice: 5+1Quality: GoodExp: 2+1 Griswold used: 1*Blood Carbon Steel Ingot
Griswold 0 Posted September 10, 2014 Author #62 Share Posted September 10, 2014 Griswold takes his malus to a heated Blood carbon steel. Griswold chuckles as a pm pops up, Freya was complaining about her weapon being bad. Griswold decided as he was working on metal as it popped up, he began to shape a battle axe head with grace. The resulting axe head isn't that sharp but it will be better then the junk she was using. Affixing the head to a wooden shaft, Griswold quickly binds the heavy metal head to the shaft bolting it in. Pm'ing her back "Aye, I made you something better come pick it up, I'm on floor 9" Griswold chuckles and unlocks the door for her. Crafting Dice: 9+1 Quality: Uncommon Exp: 3+1 RANK UP! Griswold 0 Posted September 10, 2014 Author #63 Share Posted September 10, 2014 Griswold takes a blue bar from the pile near his furnace, plunging the cobalt ingot into the fire. The bar heats to a brilliant white, as its pulled to the anvil and a *clank* is heard as the metal is formed into a small edge. Griswold wipes sweat from his brow, the heat of the forge and the bar barring down on his chiseled face. Taking up an etching tool, Griswold quickly scratches his symbol into the metal before it cools. Sharpening down the daggers edge, it seems to be unfit for combat. "Aye, maybe its time I get some more." Griswold continues by grabbing the bar with tongs, and thrust the cooled metal into the fire. watching the metal heat and bend slightly as it glows bright purple. When she got a reply back she smiles at his response, shuts her inventory and says "Floor 9" as she buzzed up to the floor. Freya looks around and says "Now where is it, his profile did say floor 9," as she wiped her forehead from the heat. Spotting the shop she runs up and walks in and says "Hey big man how's it hanging? Look I really appreciate you making this for me. I just know that I'll do better at fighting," Freya says with a grin on her face. "So where is this master piece, oh wait I only have 400 Col, I can give you that and make you a drink on my next cooking day" she says hoping it would be enough for the Ax he made her. Griswold 0 Posted November 17, 2014 Author #69 Share Posted November 17, 2014 Griswold takes the bright blue bar from the ingot pile, taking the metal into the fire. The metal heats blue, and is smashed on the anvil by the hulking man with ease. The bar becomes thin, as sparks give-way under each blow. A rapier blade is formed, Griswold quickly etches his symbol into the blade, just above where the blade guard would go. It cools and Griswold begins to sharpen the point. Poking his finger with it, He grunts in disgust "ugh, not sharp enough". Tossing the blade into the bin of useless ones, Griswold opens his tongs and leans back toward the pile. The metal darkens as it heats up, becoming flaky. Hammering against the bar, Griswolds arm gets tired. "Why is this always so hard to work?" Griswold says nearly out of breathe hammering away at the bar in front of him. "Gah finally, I thought I'd never finish" Griswold says as the metal cools and he pulls the needle thin blade from the anvil. Disgusted at the quality, it finds itself in the censored bin. Griswold 0 Posted November 18, 2014 Author #71 Share Posted November 18, 2014 Taking the needle thin blade out of the barrel, the blade just barely cooled from before. The blade is thrust into the fire and buried under burning hot coals. Placing an ingot mold under the spout as it heats, the molten metal drips into the mold. after a few minutes the mold is filled, a full lake of fire, as the mold is removed and set next to the pile it flashes and confirms it wont evaporate. Griswold 0 Posted November 19, 2014 Author #74 Share Posted November 19, 2014 Griswold takes the heated mythril bar to the anvil. Pounding on the metal, Griswold works the metal skillfully with the horadric malus, shaping the metal into a hammerhead. Etching his signature into the side of the head, Griswold thrusts it into the water. Polishing the head with a cloth and getting the metal a nice sheen, Griswold then affixes the head to a handle and wraps red leather around the head. The hammer looks of fine quality, locked to the top of the handle with grace. Then the glow of quality happens, a dark blue signalling a rare quality. Tanoshi 0 Posted February 6, 2020 #79 Share Posted February 6, 2020 The door of the blacksmith's slightly creaked and was opened completely by an adolescent standing 5'7'' tall. Tanoshi scanned his eyes around the place, it seemed that this guy was a lot more experienced than Tanoshi was in the crafting field. Vanessa told him to buy an armor here so he figured that this place would provide good quality items. "Hello?" He said, wanting to get the attention of the muscular blacksmith. Oh my... he looked more like a true blacksmith than Tanoshi. He scratched the back of his head, figuring that the man was busy at that moment so he decided to take a look around the store. "Do you have any strong armors?"
