[PP-F4] The Snowflake

Recommended Posts

Hearing Hikari, she followed after here seeing the item being examined by her. "B--Bear-chan's... Alive..?" She spoke her eyes widened as she looked at the stuffed toy. Soon her eyes started tearing up as she looked at the mere toy which she'd be glad to ever had seen. "C--Can I hold her..?" She asked politely looking at Hikari with a bright smile. Though she wishes the Bear hadn't consumed her last bear... At least she had another. Though was she gonna carry it around everywhere she went? She wasn't quite sure... But she could only hope to keep it as long as possible.. And attempt to keep it away from any idiots...

A gentle smile on her face as she got up, Hikari turned to Ruri. "Of course, Ruri, she's all yours. But first, let me show you something." Turning Bear-chan around, Hikari revealed a little hook on her back. "You see here? It's to attach it to your belt. Here, lemme do it." Crouching down to match her height to Ruri, Hikari hooked the bear on the bluenette's belt opposite that of her katana's sheath. "There ya go, all ready!" Getting up and stepping back a bit, Hikari let Ruri take in the feeling of having a second item hanging from her belt. "You take it off like this..." Reaching down into the bear's hook again, Hikari lifted a little nub on the outside of it to disconnect the hook. Taking now the bear back and handing it to Ruri, she felt warm inside, a feeling she hadn't felt for a very long time... love...

Looking at the bear she was given she smiled, twirling into a small circle. "Thank you Hikari!" She smiled and thanked her. Hugging Hikari and smiling she was glad to learn about the teddy bear a bit.. Hikari seemed to know how to use equipped items more then her... "Do you know of any other things you wish you could do in the real world on the fourth floor? I mean we could do a few normal things that I still wish I could do in the real world... Like maybe Build a Snowman or even attempting to catch the snowflakes.. Or something." She spoke not knowing what Hikari would want to do in the snowy floor. Perhaps they would even teleport elsewhere. She wouldn't know unless Hikari were to make the decision. SO she waited and bet her little wolf pup in the mean time.

Feeling Ruri's warmth through the hug was bliss for Hikari, she really wanted to protect this girl and be with her. Though she didn't really know what to do with items, her common sense just screamed that the hook she felt could be attached, even in a virtual world where real life rules didn't apply as often. "Make a snowman? Probably..." The question proposed by the bluenette intrigued Hikari, so she dropped to her knees and unequipped her gear, immediately starting to form a snow ball, making sure there were no rocks in it. "Watch out!" Flashing a sly smile, Hikari waited until Ruri looked at her and through the soft snowball straight at her face, giving out a giggle afterwards.

Feeling the snowball's wetness come flying at her face she growled a bit. The challenge had been accepted. "Psh, Challenge accepted. This'll be easy..." She spoke softly before turning and quickly crafting a snowball, then turning to face Hikari and hitting the back of her head. A light giggle being let out before she ran over to her 'claimed side' and she began crafting a small snow fort out of bricks she had crafted with the snow, making it compact and hard to bust through. Hoping she was gonna do the same thing as she continued to attempt to complete the fort. Wanting to make it as durable as she possibly could. As she finally managed to finish it she said, "Come at mai bro!" Awaiting for the snowballs to be thrown at her multiple times.

Feeling the snowball hit her in the back of her head, Hikari immediately ran opposite Ruri's side. "Oh, that is IT!" A smile appearing on her face Hikari crouched down and called Shiranui over. "Mode change, Tundra Beads!" The wolf howling in response, the fire disappeared from his back, being replaced by a chain of beads rotating around his neck, acting like a collar.

"There we go, Bizzard!" An asterisk symbol being traced across the fluffy snow, Shiranui howled again as the air froze around him, creating more snow for Hikari to use. "There we go now!" Quickly making her fort, she still had a tremendous supply of snowballs and a companion to defend her. "Alright, Ruri, have at you!" Picking up a snowball from the pyramid, Hikari began throwing them like a barrage, non-stop, all aiming for Ruri's figure like a machine-gun that just went haywire. "Shiranui, prepare to change to the Solar Flare!" Another howl emitted from the snout of the white wolf, the chain around his neck began to disappear as a fiery figure started to emerge. "Can you knock him out of it while he's preparing?!" Shouting a challenge at Ruri, Hikari continued her onslaught of snowballs, always unrelenting.

One snowball hitting her, she quickly ducked down behind the fort. "..Damnit..." She spoke softly before awaiting her fort to be knocked over. One by one the snow bricks slowly coming apart. Not knowing what to do, She made a small 'white flag' out of the nearby snow and twigs. Raising it and not wanting to fight with the snowballs any longer. "I give!" She spoke before standing up and walking over to the fort. "Cheater!" She spoke with a little giggle to her voice, not wanting to continue playing the snowball game anymore. That's not what she meant by fun.. When she thought of fun, it usually wasn't fights... But she guessed that Hikari really seemed to like PVP if she was that into snowball fights...

Watching the white flag being raised, Hikari stopped her snowball onslaught and continued watching Ruri as she slowly approached the fort. "Hey, you're more accurate than me, I need at least SOME help!" Speaking with a grin on her face, Hikari approached Ruri and leaned in close to her. "Then now..." Their faces close together, Hikari could already see Ruri blushing. Gently opening her mouth a bit, Hikari's next action was completely expected... "Let's build a snowman!" Or not... Parting her face away from Ruri's, Hikari dropped to her knees to start rolling some snow into a large ball... then another smaller one... and a final, even smaller one... "Alright! Ruri, help me out in building it!" Waiting for Ruri to come help her out in making them even bigger, Hikari started gathering some twigs and rocks to decorate it.

She nodded before kneeling down next to the placement of heads and slowly rolling the large snowball near to the middle hoping to get it bigger. Then soon adding the medium sized one onto the top of the first. Seeing the smaller one she looked over to Hikari. "Could you help me lift this last snowball?" She asked in a sweet voice before managing to roll it over to Hikari's side hoping that she would lift the item with her soon enough.

[OOC- Sorry for the short post, in a hurry T_T]

The bluenette's request was accepted, of course, Hikari couldn't resist such a cute tone coming from such a cute girl... "Of course I'll help, Ruri!" Lifting up the large snowball with Ruri, they both placed it on top of the other two, making a perfectly proportioned snowman. "There we go, it's perfect! Thanks for your help, Ruri!" Looking at the bluenette with the sweetest smile she could pull off, Hikari took the twigs and rocks out of her pocket and began adding them to the snowman, first creating the buttons and and the eyes on it with the rocks and then using the twigs to form the arms. "Hmm... let's see now..." Going back to the tree where both her and Ruri had been thrown to before, she noticed it was almost by the edge of Aincrad... "My God, if the tree wasn't here, the bear would've thrown us right off the edge of the world!" A horrified expression on her face, Hikari simply dispelled the thought and continued with what she was doing, picking out a crescent-shaped leaf from the tree and immediately went back to where Ruri was. "There we go..." Placing the leaf on the snowman's head, Hikari formed his mouth, standing there as a smile. "It's pretty good... but it's missing something... do you know what, Ruri?" Thinking a bit about the situation, Hikari waited for Ruri to respond.

She nodded to Hikari before taking the scarf that had been wrapped around her neck and wrapping it around the snowman's head. Then talking out a hot cocoa from her inventory and putting it into the snowman's twig hands. "Hmm... is that correct?" She asked unsure if that's what she meant to be the final touch or not. "Is there anything else?" She asked again wondering what else she missed. Of course! She forgot the carrot nose. Silly her. Taking a carrot out of her inventory she placed it above the mouth, and slightly below the eyes. "Silly me!" She spoke with a bit of giggling to her voice unsure if this was really correct or not.

"Perfect!" Her face now coated in childish joy, Hikari dropped to the ground on her back. "Ahahaha! C'mon, you know what to do here!" Giving off a giggly tone, Hikari began to wave her limbs in a circular pattern, much like she did yesterday when she met Ruri... "I love making snow angels..." Noticing Ruri still standing up, Hikari gave a fake pout and grabbed her hand. "Silly, you too!" Dropping down to the ground, Hikari brought Ruri with her, making them both fall down to the same spot."C'mon, Ruri, it's no fun if I'm alone!" Lying simply down on the snow, Hikari looked into Ruri's eyes, the bluenette's face close to hers. A smile still on her face, Hikari just stood there for a while, feeling her face turn redder, though she didn't care much for it at all...

Seeing that Hikari was in front of her face, and blushing as much as she had, she rolled over so that they where horizontal to each other, not waving her limbs just as Hikari had attempting to make a bigger snow angel. "Bet I could make a bigger Angel then you!" She giggled before waving her limbs faster and faster attempting to create a bigger snow angel then Hikari would. Finally getting tired enough, she stopped not just laying there hopelessly."Hmmm... What to do next.." She spoke in her head, attempting to find an answer of what to do soon. Unsure how to handle it she wanted to continue to think of at least an simi-original idea of what to do.... Leaf jumping yet making it like 'snow jumping'... Shoveling up large piles of snow and jumping into them.. or something LIKE it. She wouldn't know what to do until she managed to ask Hikari in her own words. "So any idea of what to do next..?" She'd ask before yawning and already being half asleep though it was already pretty early...

Making the best snow angel she could, Hikari got tired fast which made Ruri's question seem a lot more disheartening. "Dunno... I'm dead tired, that damn bear took all my energy..." Noticing the sleepiness in Ruri's eyes, Hikari got up. "We should go back to the inn now, maybe they'll have something there we can do!" Seeing Ruri nod and get up sleepily, Hikari grabbed her scarf off the snowman, gently dusting off remains of snow and water, heating it up with her hands. "Here you go..." Wrapping the scarf gently around Ruri's neck, Hikari heated her hands up a bit and took Ruri's right hand to her left. "Well then, let's go?" Walking back to the inn, she could see Ruri clearly embarrassed and, while holding hands was a sign of dating, something they were not doing, Hikari's age made it seem more like an girl escorting her younger sister around than a couple walking to the inn. Opening the door, Hikari let Ruri get in first and then herself, closing it behind her. "Excuse me! Do you have any sort of board games here, like chess or somethin'?" Asking the NPC in charge this question, Hikari relaxed a bit on one of the small benches in front of the bar. "Yes, ma'am, we have a chessboard stored, would you like to use it today?" Her mood lifting instantly, Hikari nodded to the NPC with a smile on her face, taking the board in her hands. "Thank you very much! Ruri, I got something here!" Bowing to the NPC as she exited, Hikari set the board on the table inside their room, opening the drawers to reveal the pieces. Setting up the board, Hikari simply waited for Ruri to say something.

Seeing the chessboard she nodded, following Hikari closely. The two wolves had sat on both sides of them, Kanya sitting with Ruri with the dark shimmering fur.. And Hikari's majestic wolf sitting near her. As she put it down in the center of the room she smiled and sat on the opponents side from Hikari. "I call white!" She spoke before moving the pawn, many minutes, perhaps even hours passed. And finally, the declared winner had been Hikari. "Aww... Well... Best two out of three?" She asked before setting up the pieces once more, eager to play once more.

The game was hard, Ruri was a tough player and the game was only won because Hikari ended up capturing every piece but Ruri's king. "Damn, that was hard... Nice game!" Giving Ruri a slight chuckle, she stopped the bluenette as she was setting up the pieces again. "That's enough for today, Ruri, it's getting late." Pointing outside, both of them could see the sun was going down already. "We should go to bed, yeah?" Getting up and storing the pieces back in their respective drawers, Hikari handed the board back to the NPC and returned to the room. "Hmmm... You should have the bed, there's a futon inside the closet so I'll take that, okay?" Setting the futon down on the floor next to the bed, Hikari unequipped her gear and clothing, instead putting on a white pajama comprised of shorts and a long-sleeved shirt. "We can stay awake a bit longer if you want... wanna talk about something?" Flashing Ruri a smile, Hikari sat on her futon and turned her head away so Ruri could do the same she did before...

The bluenette nodded before She sat on the bed across from Hikari, her usual Pajamas on as she smiled. "Wanna talk about Snowflakes then?" She giggled softly before imagining a snowflake, similar to the white dots they found outside which where snowflakes. The white item which had been icy and cold a bit, she was unsure how it was made exactly.. It had been a strange item to her which really was quite unknown. Though it was unknown, she had still liked to play around with them on floor 4. "What do you think of them?" She asked not knowing how Hikari would truly respond to such a strange question.

A strange question but nonetheless important, Hikari answered without hesitation. "Well... if you don't mind me saying..." Hikari got up on the bed as she said this, continuing without a moment's notice. "Snowflakes are... a lot like you..." Now giving Ruri a tight hug, Hikari continued on her sentence. "I can tell... you may act cheery, but you're fragile inside... you've been hurt before, haven't you?" Feeling Ruri's warmth through their clothes, Hikari hugged her tighter, not wanting to ever let go of the bluenette, whatever the cost. "I won't let you get hurt again, Ruri, I promise..." The moment went on for ages while Hikari had no idea what she was doing... It was a simple action, really, but one that brought her great happiness... She simply stood there, hugging the bluenette, waiting for any words to come out of her mouth... A moment she was either fearing... or greatly anticipating...

The bluenette was more speechless then ever, She usually had something to day... But a friend hugging her simply like that made her warm and a bit more fuzzy inside, unsure what to say really, she hugged back. "Hikari--- I like you... But it's more then just 'like' I can't really remember it... I've truly only said it once..... I can't imagine saying it another time..." She spoke softly, Unsure what to say next... So she simply sat there hugging Hikari back, and hoping she felt the same about her. Wanting Hikari to like her as much as she'd liked Hikari.

Her words froze Hikari, her mind couldn't believe it but at the same time she was overjoyed... "Ruri... You... too...?" Speaking now with a serene smile on her face, Hikari broke the hug for a minute... "Ruri... I feel the same way... I... like you too but... it's more than just liking... I... think this explains it better..." Her face now coated in a red color, Hikari pulled Ruri closer to her... their faces close together, she could feel Ruri's embarrassment too... "Sorry for this..." Her face still red, reason disappeared after those words were uttered, replaced by a simple desire... Pulling Ruri even closer to her, Hikari kissed Ruri passionately, letting the sweet feeling of her lips against the bluenette's soak in for a long amount of time... Breaking apart after an incalculable time, Hikari sat across from Ruri, her face still burning but a smile planted on her face... "S-sorry about that..." A fake apology, Hikari didn't regret what she had just done a single bit... Simply staring down at her legs in embarrassment, Hikari waited for Ruri to say something, unsure of how the bluenette would reply...
