[PP-F1/F2] Adventuring through the Dungeon with Rage

Recommended Posts

Oske stood just outside the dungeon entrance. She had sent her new friend Rage a request to join her on her way to the second floor. She was leaning against the wall of the dungeon exterior, examining her sword and randomly changing clothes, switching her gloves on and off for fun out of boredom.

Crap! I'm late! I was supposed to go meet Oske at the dungeon! I quickly equipped myself and ran off to the dungeon

Few minutes later...

Oske! I'm sorry! I overslept! I was panting while speaking to Oske

Oske laughed. "That's fine! I wasn't waiting that long..." she lied, seeing as she had been waiting there for about an hour. "I know I'm not wearing the best gear, but... I'm sure we'll make it. Ready to go?"

I whispered in her ear Don't worry, you won't die, i'll protect you. I promise I smiled at Oske so she could feel a little more comfortable

Oske nodded slightly, smiling. She then started to blush. She quickly turned and marched into the dungeon. It was quite dark, despite the light illuminating from the crystalline floor. Oske unsheathed her sword, reading for a monster to come charging at her in any moment.

Oske paused. She turned her sword back, activating a sword skill. "Aaaah!" she shouted, slashing at the monster. It burst into particles of bright blue. Oske quickly checked her inventory for drops. "Aww, nothin'."

"Huh?" Oske thought aloud. She looked up at her health bar. "Hey! I'm a level four now!"

She started marching forward, feeling very confident. As she did so, a humanoid monster spawned and ran toward her. She froze, thinking that it was another player. However, once it was close enough, she shouted and slashed it once, then another time in the same motion.

She missed on the first slash, but hit on the second. The humanoid monster raised its staff, aiming for her head.

You will not die Oske, Trust me. I walked in front of Oske, slashing the humanoids arms and legs with a sword skill.

It barely has any health left, destroy it before it vanishes.

Congratulations! I smiled at Oske

You will be quite strong one day, as long as you don't have fear for this world. A single blade can take you anywhere you want in this world.

"I-I guess so," Oske murmured, walking forward slowly. She turned a corner carefully, checking for monsters. None spawned yet. "I was always scared in the real--Oh, sorry. I shouldn't be talking about the real world."

"Well, I guess so," Oske shrugged. "Truth be told, I don't really mind being trapped here. In the real world, I have paranoia of dying anyway. So this world is the same, only... beautiful, and independent. I feel like I can make friends here who are my age."

Oske stared at her sword.

"Like, this sword. In the real world, I probably could've made it, but... it wouldn't have come out this good. It's beautiful. I mean, I used to be sort of a craftsman in the real world."

"I wouldn't say I was that good," Oske confessed. "I was best at building and refurbishing furniture. I've made a ton of cushions and chairs, but I never actually built them... I just took crappy ones and fixed them up. But I guess furnishing stuff here doesn't really matt--AAH!"

Oske slammed against the wall as another humanoid monster knocked her over with a stick. She slumped over, her head spinning. She tried to get up, but she stumbled and fell again. The monster approached her, raising the staff.

"Th-that's okay," Oske stuttered, rising to her feet. "You don't have to save the last hit for me. I wasn't going to get to it, anyway."

Oske looked down the hall. "It looks like we're almost at a safe spot. I have lunch, so... do you want to take a break up there, or wait until we get to another safespot for lunch?"
