Background Story

Born in a honorary medic family, Kinou is always expected to be his family successor as a doctor. Though he actually enjoy to learn medic, this overly high expectation made him feels uncomfort. On the day of SAO launching, Kinou managed to buy one of 10.000 copies of SAO game. He hoped that he can relieve himself from that stresses by playing this game, moreover he wished he can run from his current life. Well, his wish comes true, but in a different way.

Personality

Kinai is highly intelligent with 190 IQ. He is an introvert and talkless person, but he's not antisocial. He always think before do, and with his brain he becomes very tactical in any situation. He's interested to medical science, specially in pharmacy. That's why he decides to become an Alchemist in SAO.

» Virtues:

Tactical. With his 190 IQ and observing skill, Kinai is able to make a perfect plan for any situation. He know when to move, wait, and attack on the right time. He will not make any useless move. Sometimes people see him making a lot of mistakes, but in the end all mistakes he did leads him to victory. Then people realize that all those fail moves is the parts of the plan. Though Kinai is that tactical, he avoids gambling situation. He always do everything that has high probability to be success, but in gambling (in which the probability is unknown) he can't do much.

Wise. Kinai doesn't only have logic but also wisdom. He always value everything by its philosophical side, like "how the thing should be", or "is it good or bad". He believes that by thinking in that way he will not lose his way of life. With this kind of thought, people always ask him for advice. People see him more mature than his age.

Charm. Kinai has an unique, or mysterious charm. He has such a strange power that can affects people psychologically. People always trust him when he talk or giving advice. But in different situation, like a battle, this charm makes Kinai a real demon to others. He becomes so intimidating when he makes a plan and even more terrifying when he do it.

» Flaws:

Over Confident. Due to his ability to make tactical moves like all the time, he sometimes becomes over confident. His plans that have high chance to be success make him forget that there is a thing he can't predict. When that unpredictable thing comes and ruins his plan, need a lot of time to remake the plan. That's because he always has his morale down when his plan ruined, and he can't do much when it happened.

Skeptical. Kinai always analyze everything before judging something or someone. He don't easily believe to someone, especially to strangers. He will not judging anything before he has enough information. He makes his own quote "A good thing always have evidences to be called good. If it haven't, it's not a good thing". That's why people see him as a skeptical person.

Mean side-personality. Kinai has a side personality that contrast with his kind and wise personality. This side personality developed from his plan making habit. In a certain condition, he becomes cold-blooded and merciless. He dare to use everything or everyone to make his plan successful and doesn't care if it will kill others or himself. People call this state as "lost the heart" because Kinai seems to be heartless in this condition. It usually happened in a life-or-die battle.
