Guest Posted August 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2014 Who did you support in the great Sega vs Nintendo era? Did you have a Super Nintendo, or a Sega Genesis? An N64, or a Dreamcast? Overall, who's games did you enjoy more growing up?
Echo 0 Posted August 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2014 I grew up with the Nintendo. I played like some kind of bubble game with the dinosaur. It was magical.
DylanDX 0 Posted August 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2014 I'm a Mario fan, sorry Sega! In fact, my first video game I played was on the Super Nintendo. Also my first handheld was a GameBoy. Then, a GameBoy Color
Minato 0 Posted August 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2014 First game I ever played when I was a kid was Sonic Adventure on dreamcast so I like sonic more then Mario. I'm a sega fan, but they aren't really a thing now considering sonic is all over Nintendo things and such. But I do love Mario/Nintendo games to lol
Ethereal 0 Posted August 25, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2014 Sonic, because Mario is supposedly a player, murderer and supporter of animal cruelty. (Or so the Internet says)
Senpai-kun 0 Posted September 7, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 7, 2014 Mario is awesome! There are so many new levels for mario! New characters! It's amazing! It has all the quality!
Draterion 0 Posted September 27, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Who did you support in the great Sega vs Nintendo era? Did you have a Super Nintendo, or a Sega Genesis? An N64, or a Dreamcast? Overall, who's games did you enjoy more growing up? Sega's Super Monkey Ball is OK, but I have always loved Nintendo for pokemon and Zelda. Nobody beats The DS, gameboy, or the Wii!
Greg Baxen 0 Posted May 19, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 19, 2015 I generally prefer Sonic, myself. I find it a lot more varied than Mario is, considering Mario games (mostly) follow a set formula and mix things up a little each time by implementing new hazards, gameplay mechanics and power-ups. Sonic on the other hand has a more loose formula. It changes things up a lot occasionally. Like Sonic Heroes. Sonic and the Secret Rings. Sonic and the Black Knight, The Boost Trilogy, Sonic Lost World, and finally Sonic Boom (Which is not as bad as people believe it is. IT'S NOT AS BAD AS '06, DANG IT!). Shinsou Vaan Osiris 0 Posted October 13, 2017 #13 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Huge Sonic fan. Between 1991 and, say, 2002 I lived in a utopia of Sonic excellence. 1, 2, 3, 3&K, SA1 and SA2 were the staples of one of the greatest game series in the world. Then, some weird [censored] happened and Sonic fell into the abyss. It was only recently that Sonic Mania won me back entirely.
Rothsbite 0 Posted October 20, 2017 #14 Share Posted October 20, 2017 For the most part, I'm a Mario dude. But Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was amazing.
Vigilon 0 Posted October 21, 2017 #15 Share Posted October 21, 2017 I've played a lot of games, Honestly I enjoyed them both. However, Have you seen Matpat's theories on youtube? That brings the clincher that Sonic is my vote.
