Background:

Micheal grew up with a pretty normal childhood. He grew up with two parents who loved him a lot, his family was above the average amount of wealth but they weren’t rich. He’d work with his family at a cleaning company before starting a job where he moved boxes. He wouldn’t do anything too special as a kid aside from playing video games and hanging out with his best friend Luna. Luna and him would essentially grow up with each other, they were family. They’d hang out everyday, sleep together, eat together and most of all play video games together. As he grew up, life would be good, he’d get good grades in school, do good in sports, make good money at work, take up martial arts, study AI sentience, and hang out with Luna every single day. He really liked her, she was everything to him.

 

At 15 years old they would be kidnapped by an insane man. He’d force them to play Russian Roulette. The man was obsessed with the concept of luck and wanted to test it on the two teens. They’d take turns playing the game, on the third shot Luna would be killed. He’d sit across from her helpless as she ended her own life. Everything would be a haze after that but the man would end up on the floor with a knife sticking out of his chest. He’d hold her in his arms all night before the authorities would finally arrive. Maybe there was something he could’ve done to stop it? It should have been him instead. Micheals head would be plagued with all kinds of self-deprecating thoughts as he went through the next couple of years. He wouldn’t show it and keep up his usual “cool-guy personality,” With his parents death at 17 years old Micheal would be broken once again. Everytime he’d get certain thoughts he’d think of Luna to keep going. A couple months after his parents death he’d find out about the Nervegear and the game that came along with it. A chance to be a hero in a world just like how it used to be when he and Luna were kids intrigued him. He’d manage to get his hands on one not ready for what would come next.

 

Virtues

1. Optimistic: Micheal is a naturally optimistic person. He believes that nothing is ever bad because it can always be worse. With the deaths of his parents and best friend holding onto the hope of something, anything is what keeps him alive. He doesn’t typically get sad due to his optimism.

2. Loyal: When Micheal finds someone he trusts he’s aligned with them to the end even if they don’t feel the same about him. He believes that you can’t truly be friends with someone unless you love them and are willing to lay down your life for the person. His loyalty often makes him trustworthy to other people.

3. Determined: Micheal believes that if you’re not giving it your all, you shouldn’t try. Everything could be a life and death situation in his eyes so he can’t give up and will push through any situation he encounters. Despite feeling useless the one thing he is confident in is his endurance and ability to never give up.

Flaws

1. Unlucky: Micheal has always considered himself “naturally unlucky” in a general sense. He had a good childhood with shelter, and a loving family but when it comes to little things like luck-based games he is certain to lose. This unnatural phenomenon can be proven by the amount of times he has broken things or been hurt for unnatural and abrupt reasons.

2. Delusional: Due to his optimism Micheal believes in things, sometimes to an unhealthy extent. He’ll continue to pour all his time and energy into a lost cause despite it being obviously a waste of time. Along with having this false belief or false hope he also has unrealistic expectations of himself which sometimes causes himself to hurt himself.

3. Morally Grey: Despite being a good guy sometimes Micheals way of thinking isn’t always the best. Many people have called him “Messed up” for his way of viewing situations. He believes that killing is justified at times and he wouldn’t hesitate to kill or hurt anyone who truly deserved it. This is probably due to the man he had killed two years prior.

Made in full black moon stone the sword is as dark as night, with a contrasting white squiggly line going down the side of the blade which glows when used for attacking. The blade's colours will invert when hit with the moons light.
