Something crashed into the front door of the shop with a heavy thud and a grunt, followed by the harrowed mangling of metal as a massive shadow struggled with a comparatively tiny latch.  Frustration stirred only to be scoured into silence by the memory of a warning.  Don't keep breaking shit!  Instead, a tiny squealing turn and the latch released to the entry of an ominous bulk.  Boards creaked as the impressively stocky figure moved towards the counter and into the light.  It's face wasn't made much prettier by revelation.  Possibly the opposite held true.

"Need stuff.  Here."  Having tried and repeatedly failed to successfully use UIs, Moog had scrawled a stick figure with what looked like a maul in its hands, or possibly a shovel.  Judging by his appearance, both were valid options.  The word 'tuff' appeared on the page, with an arrow pointing at the crudely drawn shirt, pants and other accoutrements apparently being implied.  Hefting two large sacks on the nearest surface, both jingled under the weight of ample quantities of col.  Apparently, he'd also failed to grasp the concept of the banker.

"When?"

By the looks of him, he seemed likely to just stand there and wait until his order was done.

Clearing his throat to garner some attention, Jeeves had been standing in the shop overlooked for nearly five minutes. It happened to him everywhere, all the time, and might have infuriated him - it did - if there wasn't occasionally some benefit.  This wasn't one of this times.  Sprawling out a set of intricate blueprints on the workshop's counter, he proudly and summarily declared: "I need this."

The weapon, laid out in meticulous detail, might have been better suited to an artisan or clockmaker, given the intricacy of the work and small scale.  It looked like some of hand crossbow, but fitted to a mechanical brace that might fit around one's wrist, or under a sleeve.  Head tilting behind a pair of magnifying goggles that made his eyes bug out and look gigantic, the youngster looked kinda creepy as he assessed the craftsman's resourcefulness and understanding.

"Can you do it, or not?"

bistro had the address. demian had the vouch for it. and though night was liken to ignore half of what demian was offering most of the time, she still arrived in a hurry, the two equipment pieces she'd need oversight on prepared on the counter.

-- at least, it would be, if it wasn't already occupied. was there a short stack present? why'd he wait around? it looked like it would benefit better from her inspection instead of the blacksmith's. she eyed the shopkeep with dread. night could wait.

"when you're done with that," she said, shrugging, "i'll need this lot fused together. thanks."

Another day, another haul.

As courtesy, she made all the necessary trips. Address in hand, she followed a crudely-paved path out of Coral to the Sentinel Armaments. Three sharp knocks and the sound of the shop bell as she swung open the door heralded her arrival. The blacksmith, busy hammering away at his anvil, would have looked over his shoulder as she shook off her hood.

"Hi!" An greeted once he had moved over to attend to her. From a wide sheath at her back and another at her hip, An drew a greatsword and a thin blade. She presented both to the blacksmith, holding them crosswise. "I do appraisals on Floor 1 and I need a quick fusion for a customer. I can provide the shard and the scale. Do you have time?"

Floor 22 was a scary place. Not necessarily because of the scenery. That was actually pretty dope. It was more that he was venturing way out of his depth. He was pretty sure a monster this high up could look at him sideways and he'd keel over. Still, he had things to do and people to see. Abellio was pretty certain that he'd be alright if he was careful. A calculated risk, all for some equipment, and he wasn't the greatest at math. But, eventually, he found his destination. A smithy. He walked inside the shop and took a moment to read the prices for custom orders. Once he had everything together, Abellio filled out the order form and placed the required payment on the counter. It was his first time doing this and he didn't know whether to leave or stay. So he did the obvious thing and stood there awkwardly, arms swinging to and fro as he bounced on his heels - suddenly enraptured by the glow of the forge.

Bastion stepped into the blacksmith shop, his movements purposeful but tense. His gaze darted briefly to the shimmering lake outside, its beauty lost on him as his unease simmered beneath his composed exterior. Being so far from the Town of Beginnings felt unnatural—reckless, even—but the smith had assured him it was safe. That assurance, and the promise of a unique weapon, were the only reasons he had ventured this far.

The young smith looked up from his workbench, a welcoming smile tugging at his face. "Bastion! Glad you made it. I knew you'd come around."

Bastion gave a curt nod, his tone measured and precise. "This floor is… tranquil. A rarity in Aincrad. I’ll admit I’m not accustomed to being this far out, but you were insistent." His gaze shifted to the racks of finely crafted weapons and armor before returning to the smith. "I need something unusual. Small, versatile. Ofuda—throwing talismans—if you're capable of crafting them. Lightweight, precise, and effective."

His fingers brushed the edge of the counter as his sharp eyes scanned the forge. "You mentioned a free weapon and that I would need one. If you're offering, I won't refuse. Provided it meets the quality you spoke so highly of during our first meeting."

Though his words were blunt, there was no malice in his tone—just the same guarded directness that defined Bastion. He stood quietly, waiting for the smith’s response, his stance betraying his readiness to leave at the first sign of trouble.

In the middle of a busy week, Morningstar took to Floor 22. While he appreciated the serenity of the wooded floor, his visit was business-related rather than for pleasure. Sentinel Armaments was his destination. He rattled the doorknob, peering inside to make sure the owner was home. Wulfrin was behind the counter, and hadn't yet noticed Morningstar enter.

"Hello. Have time for a fusion?" Star asked.

He laid two weapons in front of the blacksmith, one of which Wulfrin would surely recognize as the last sword he built for Star. Through his training, Morningstar outgrew its use and decided it was time for a change.

Morningstar traded over three unique sets of heavy armor and allowed Wulfrin a moment to fuse them together. He leaned against the counter, munching on a cookie. It was chocolate chip, which was fine by his standards. The oats in it made it slightly more refined. They added character; they made it a little less boring. For the record, he was much more a fan of shortbread, and of muffins, but a chocolate chip cookie would do. On his third bite, he realized there were no more chocolate chips left in the crumbly treat. He scowled, annoyed by the plainness of it. Then, he scarfed down the rest of it in one mouthful and wiped the crumbs from his mouth.
